SIGNATURE GALLERY

We searched for awhile and compared and contrasted 5 or 6 providers. We decided on Signature because they could work with the customization that we would need. Edward and Sherrie are a small shop and always there to answer questions or work with you with any changes, and I had many changes and they just took it in stride and made the adjustments no problem at all. We now have what is considered a large kitchen and had a small kitchen before and were considering having a wall pushed out - not any longer. We wanted to have cabinets that went up to the ceiling but had sofits that contained plumbing pipes. We had some of the pipes moved by our plumber but could not completely conceal them. Edward boxed in the pipes in back of the cabinets and we still had cabinets to the ceiling with glass fronts on the top and it all looks great. He also made a built in hutch with glass front cabinets, as well as a peninsula room divider with bookcase with glass doors on one side and overhang on the other for seating and columns on each end and decorative molding going between columns on top. There was also a large island (3 x 6) and I never thought I had room for an island! He worked off of all the appliance specs and we had a double wall oven, drop in cooktop, undermount farm sink, and microwave drawer and he installed and vented the range hood as well. He also helped my husband install the wall ovens which saved us from having to pay to have them installed. Sub-par work isn't even in his abilities. EVERYTHING was done to perfection and you could tell that anything else would just not be acceptable to him. It is a small business as far as employees, Alan was his number two guy and was as up on all details so you could always talk to either one. Installation was included in the price. Cabinetry and all materials were top quality, hinges and drawer hardware were heavy and well made compared to what you usually see, and he gives an allowance for them so we didn't have to pay extra, the slides and self-closing drawers and cabinets are also top quality. The worksite was cleaned at the end of each day. We checked a large home store and their price was higher and that didn't include any customization, installation, or specialty items such as pull outs. Other providers had similar prices but could/would not customize. So we are of the opinion that we just really lucked out when we found Signature. He also does bathroom cabinetry as well as custom furniture, bars, etc. Most of his work is in high end houses so we now have a kitchen that would fit right in to a million dollar house and easily rivals any designer kitchen seen on HGTV or the Houzz app as I am always watching or referring to one or the other. (We don't have a million dollar house.) Will post pics when the backsplash is in place.

Initially, I had another contractor lined up to do the built-ins in my office. He started the job and left right in the middle. I had this unfinished wood structure in my downstairs open concept home. It was horrible. I decided that it was time for me to join Angie's List. Signature Gallery was one of the A rated custom furniture/cabinetry makers I found. Sherrie and Ed from Signature Gallery are WONDERFUL!! They came out to my house listened to what I wanted and created a design that captured what I was looking for and more! Their work is beautiful with incredible attention to detail. I love the built ins. They are a work of art. I am so glad I found Signature Gallery. I highly recommend them. Not only did they build beautiful custom furniture but they SAVED my renovation.

I have used them for years. They custom made my entire bar, entertainment center and almost all my wood furniture. It would be tough to find someone that did better work or that was more responsive. The owner personally gets involved in every project, he also does the installation. Their service is as good as I have ever gotten, their work is complete artisanship and they are professional.

They did a beautiful job. They don't just come in and do the job. When things don't seem right, they will back up and make sure things are done right. They wanted to make sure their work worked for me.

I love my new kitchen. The job was really well done within my budget and they did not leave me hanging - not even once!! Their attention to detail is great. The layout design looks beautiful but more importantly and quot;cooksand quot; really well. The tiger maple cabinets and black distressed cabinets look great and blend really well together. My tiger maple pantry cabinet looks like a beautiful european armoire and holds lots of food. Ed desiged my drawer deptth to fit my coutertop appliances which is perfect. Sherrie found beautiful hardware that looks great on all of the cabinets. The tiger maple refrigerator panels are incredible and even the sub zero technicial was in awe. I have been in exclusive large houses and this kitchen definitely surpasses the quality and design in those kitchens. My friends and family love to come over to look at it. One of my friends said it best - and quot;It is a piece of art.and quot;
