They showed up early and worked throughout the entire evolution. They rotated lunches to keep progress moving forward. They were literally Bell Ringers in the most positive way possible. Worked from the min they arrived ( early) and were still working as they left at night. Great company. Heater works so much better than the one they removed. Much Quieter and more efficient. Demonstrated new Thermostat operation and explained every stap of the entire evolution.

It went well. Ben took the time to explain parts that didn't make sense, suggest parts to buy to help me maintain the system myself, was on time and kind to me and my home. I was very happy with the service I received and will hire from Quality Degree again.

Excellent service all around. Charlie provided an estimate based on our needs and explained our options carefully. Jake, Rod, and Lance were the primary installers and did an awesome job caring for our home and efficiently replacing an old heat pump and a furnace. They explained the operation of the system clearly and asked for input where needed before installation. We compared four HVAC companies and Quality had the best price due to their partnership with Costco. Would recommend to family and friends.

I had a horrible experience with Quality Degree Inc. HVAC (QDI). Total bill for them to do a yearly maintenance service/cleaning (that I paid $290 for) on my oil furnace and replace 2 parts with a retail value of $73.00 was $860. The labor worked out to $790, $395/hour. I then found out the technician, Jason, was misleading about having to replace the electronic oil ignitor they charged $308 for. Retail value is less than $60. The electrodes were worn and needed to be replaced and Jason said the electronic oil ignitor caused them to wear. QDI charged $246.40 for the electrodes. The retail value is $13. Depending on where you buy them the prices for these parts range from $12.50 to $20 for the electrodes and $48 to $59 for the electronic oil ignitor. They marked up the electronic oil ignitor over 500% and the electrodes were marked up 1,800%. I emailed them about the electronic oil ignitor and the cost of the parts and Phil the Service Manager called me. He supported the technician regarding the electronic oil ignitor. He went into a long discussion on the parts about how they mark them up to cover the cost of labor and travel to and from my house and several other business related costs. Excuse me but there was already 2 hours of labor and the travel to and from my house built into the $290 I paid for the yearly maintenance service. Taking the burner out and cleaning and adjusting it is part of the service/cleaning so it took Jason about 5 minutes extra labor to replace the electrodes (which are connected to the burner) and they added $246.40 to the cost of the job. The electronic oil ignitor that did not need to be replaced only took about 5 minutes to replace and they added $308 to the cost of the job. That is $554.40 added to the cost of the job for 10 minutes work. They don’t spell out the labor to make it harder to figure out what they are charging for it. They hide it in the cost of the parts. Phil told me to give him a figure to compensate me for my concerns (electronic oil ignitor and balance of service agreement) and we both go our separate ways. I gave him my proposal and after 18 days and 4 phone calls he still didn’t have an answer except that the owner, Bill Henzler, and General Manager, Dan Cherrie, were looking into it. He told me to stop calling him. I called Dan 3 times over the next 7 days and received no response. Four days after my last phone call Dan sent me an email restating Phil’s explanation regarding the cost of the parts but he didn’t address the electronic oil ignitor that didn’t need to be replaced. A couple of days later the owner, Bill, emailed me information from Beckett Corporation’s website that proved my point the electronic oil ignitor didn’t cause the problem with the electrodes, but they still won’t concede they are wrong and refund me. I have an email from Beckett manufacturing that states the electronic oil ignitor will not wear the electrodes, which is what Jason said happened and it had to been replaced or the electrodes would wear out again. My recommendation to everyone is not to use QDI unless you like to be charged 500% to 2,000% markup on parts and get the run around when you question them. If you have a maintenance agreement with them they end up charging you double for the same work and double for travel to and from your house. If you add the costs up you have to include $15.60 for a fuel additive to get to $860.

Another contractor said if would cost 1900.00 to fix, they fixed it for 240.00

I would give them an A in all categories.? They performed the work in a short period of time, they explained everything, they cleaned up, they're very professional, very curious, and they explained all the details - what was involved.? We haven't had any problems.

We pay a monthly charge of around $21.00.? They're very competent, very efficient, they explained what they did, and they were excellent overall.? I thought they were great in every category.? Their price is reasonable.

Wanted to pay them for the estimate because I am not hiring a person to replace the item just to give me an estimate. I am an Insurance adjuster and needed a contractor estimate to replace a certain boiler because of a dispute in a claim. I explained the situation, they asked me to hang on then hung up on me.

QDI replaced the HVAC unit in my house. Their sales person, Dan, responded to my request for an estimate promptly and he provided a competitive quote. He answered all my questions and had good technical knowledge of the HVAC system. All aspects of the installation project were performed well and professionally by their technicians, Eric and Cole. They completed the project in one day, as they had promised. I would highly recommend QDI to anyone.

QDI, specifically Jason A, were a great help in a time of need. I had hired another company (you can check the review on that one) to complete the work who were completely unreliable and dishonest and I needed a company to come out right away and tell me what was really going on with the issue I was having at my rental property. Jason took my call at a late hour as he was on call (I was living in California at the time) and told me he would go out to the house the following day and give me a diagnosis and estimate of what needed to be done. The next day, like he said he was there and told me what the issues really were (coil in the boiler was going bad) and what my options would be. Even though this whole transaction was over the phone, I trusted Jason to complete the work in a thorough and professional manner because he kept me in the loop the entire way. The entire job I received updates from Jason and could not be happier with the service. Fast forward six months, and I live in PA again and I was able to observe the work that Jason and his co-workers did, and the work is pristine. The water heater was properly set up and is not an eye sore at all in the basement. From now on, all of my heating and cooling issues will go through QDI. I highly recommend this company for the work and professionalism. Oh yeah and they send you electronic copies of everything they do which makes it easy for record keeping. Thanks again!

Excellent. We had very high expectations we like to keep heater very high. Q.D. was very friendly, did the job quickly over Christmas, answered the phones off hours, sensitive to wife's air sensitivity.

Bobby & Mike were both very nice & explained everything that was going on. They were at my house for 11 hrs. It was very appreciative that they took shoes off or always used booties on their feet. They put all furniture back when they were done. They explained my warranty & rebate.

Very well, Total professional job, perfect clean up/removal.

Contacted QDI and gave the scheduler minimal details on what we wanted. Within two (2) days the salesman came to our house and inspected our existing Heating/Cooling sytsems (2 each) and provided a detailed estimate. All though the price was slightly higher than we expected, we knew we were getting much more efficient and higher quality systems. He also let us know that we were elegible for Energy Rebates from PECO because of the increased effiency. The team of installers were very prompt, curtious, professional and neat/clean. They were at our house for two (2) full days to remove the old systems and install the new Lennox systems. The lead technician (Jake) was professional, answered all of our questions, very detail oriented and kept the project on schedule, and we never felt like they were rushing. He took time to review the new systems and, the paperwork required for the PECO rebates. It had been completed by QDI, all we had to do was sign and mail the paperwork. The only issue we had was some oil from the old units had been spilled on our concrete driveway leaving stains. I mentioned it to Jake on the 2nd morning. When I returned home at lunch time they had already cleaned and power washed the driveway. I was very impressed with the prompt action taken to resolve this. Overall impression, we are very happy with the systems and the work performed. We would most definetly recommend QDI.

Our old furnace failed and required replacement. QDI was very professional and responsive from the sales side through the installation of our new heating system. The sales presentation and proposals were confident and straight forward. I was confused by the variation in sizes that other vendors offered, but was confident moving forward with QDI due to the explanations I received. The installation team was great..... they were very professional and knowledgeable. There were three members of the team and they each understand what had to be done to remove my old system, seal my supply ducts and install the new equipment --- and their goal was to get it completed in a day..... and they did. I was impressed at how organized and prepared they were -- they had everything they needed and organized in a way that was easy for them to find when they needed it. The resulting installation looks great and works well... They left the work area clean, were courteous throughout the day and pleasant to have doing the work at my house.

They arrived on time and performed their jobs as required and they were neat and cleaned up after they finished.

I have a maintenance agreement on my (2) HVAC units and (2) AC units. One of the AC units blew a capacitor. Two techs arrived on time and were able to troubleshoot the problem in about 10 mins. The one tech knocked at the door and said it would cost $288 to replace. He then said that the capacitor in the 2nd unit was weak and could be replaced for another $288. I told him that I only wanted to do the one unit that wasn't working.....then he goes out and talks with the other tech and returns with "If you do the 2nd then we can do them both for $200 each". This seemed like a good deal compared to the $288. Then he told me the could also install some surge protectors and easy start kits for an additional $800. I went with the $400 for just the two capacitors on top of having a maintenance agreement. After agreeing to the price, I learned that the capacitor costs less than $20. I confirmed with two other HVAC companies that the total for 2 capacitors installed should be closer to $200....not $400. When I ask the tech if the capacitor costs less than $20, he replied, "not ours, we use top of the line capacitors". All in all, I was in a down situation and needed a new capacitor in one unit, I trusted fair pricing given my long relationship and maintenance agreements with QDI. I learned that their techs have a lot of negotiation authority to set pricing and get what the customer is willing to pay. Their business description says "Its not price, its value".

System functioned poorly. Could not keep up with heating demands in very cold weather and air conditioning was humid with musty smelling air. There were many attempts by QDI to make improvements, but none panned out. Finally had the system looked at by a geothermal engineer who was appalled with the overall design. Ended up replacing the entire system. Would never use this contractor again for geothermal. Doesn't know what he's doing, but talks a good game.

Excellent experience starting with Dan, who took the time to explain the technology of the system components and difference between models to enable a good decision on which system to buy. Jake was the installer, he was thorough and cleaned up afterward. He answered questions and was a pleasure to work with. I had a followup visit for a question on the thermostat settings and Bob was prompt, thorough and addressed all of my questions. Could not ask for better experience. Based on the five bids I requested, QDI was most informative and professional and responsive to queries. Excellent rating is given and deserved.

The salesperson was professional and not overly aggressive. He was thorough & quick with responses. The installation staff was professional and the work was well done. The jobsite was always kept clean.

Gave an estimate on 11/12. scheduled a replacement on 11/14. Came but furnace was not the right size. Returned 11/15 and did the work. They left us with 2 space heaters for some heat.

I can be here all day long singing their praises, but I'll be brief, and to the point. If you don't give them a chance to quote you a price, at the least, you'll be sorry. I would use them even if they were a little bit higher. It's not always about the initial price, but what happens afterwards. My recommendation......IF YOU DON'T USE THEM, THEN YOU'RE THE REAL LOSSER. Yes they are that good.

Our AC stopped working on the evening of 9/11/13. Just so happened it was the last heat wave and our 3 story colonial was HOT. The unit is 12+ years old and I was sure that it would have to be replaced. I called several HVAC contractors the next morning and QDI was the only one to give me a fair price for sending out a technician. The tech's name was Jason. He explained everything to me and I was relieved to find out that we didn't need a new system. The mother board had burnt out and it shut down our fan. Since he had to order the mother board, he hardwired the fan so that we would have AC until the part came in. I also agreed to get a maintenance contract with them for spring and fall cleanings. He returned the following Wednesday (9/18/13) and replaced the mother board. While he was there he cleaned the entire unit and now it's ready for winter. I used to have Farm and Home do all of our HVAC work, but will now use QDI. I recommend them very highly.

Jake and Phil were prompt, courteous and thorough. Installation went very smoothly. Dan, the sales rep, wasn't pushy and was very professional.
