We have used this company many times in the past at two different houses and there were always major issues with responsiveness. We were willing to overlook responsiveness issues because the quality of work has always been very good and we liked the owner personally. However, for the most recent work performed there were quality issues and Precision has been completely unresponsive after several weeks and multiple texts/e-mails. We now have to fix the problem ourselves or hire another contractor to fix Precision's work at additional cost to us (beyond the thousands we have already paid to Precision).

I called Precision Heating over the weekend to report the problem and Dominic returned my call. It was determined that the boiler did not need immediate attention so a service call was scheduled for today between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Dominic and Alex arrived on time and were very courteous. They cleaned and service my boiler and we are good to go. Precision Heating has installed two boilers for me in two different homes and I would highly recommend them for their professional and knowledgeable service.

Excellant. Instantaneous return call, with in house meeting the next day. Recommendation was to convert from heat pump to dual system using propane furnace and heat pump. As suggested, result was more level heating throughout the house. Installation staff was on time, courteous, protective of the house and completed installation on time.

Very friendly and provided explanation of what might be causing the problem. Provided guidance on another problem that I was having with my humidifier.

The job went smoothly and was done very professionally. Dominic and his son arrived on the agreed upon date and after covering all the floors with heavy cloths from doorway entrance to cellar door they began the disassembly of the old and installation of the new. They removed the old furnace, installed the new one and at the end of the second day fired up the new furnace and it's been several months now of running like a charm. It is extremely quiet compared to our old one. We have hot water for showers that never runs out or changes temperature and, while we only have a few months experience, we seem to be using much less oil. It could not have been a better experience for a major home expenditure and complex installation. Dominic and his son are professional, pleasant and businesslike in their demeanor. I can recommend them without reservation.

Dominick had done some work previously at our house on the A/C. Dominick came out and ended up getting the heat back on but he didn't charge us. Dominick said he really didn't do anything, I can't explain technically what he did but he ended up getting the heat to turn back on. It's a matter of whether the components will fail again, then Dominick will get a call from us to come fix it but for now, knock on wood, it's still working. Dominick was nice enough not to charge us. He's a class act!

Called Precision first thing Monday morning and by Noon they had diagnosed and fixed the problem. This is the 2nd time I've needed their services (unrelated issues) due to mechanical failure... they are very responsive and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend Precision for anyone needing HVAC services.

He was quick to respond, and completed the job in a timely manner. I was charged $180 to find the problem and fix a blown capacitor. I finally got a response from my home warranty company that they would not cover this charge because they say it should not have cost more than $99. Not sure if I am being ripped off from of the warranty company or from precision heating and cooling but either way I am left feeling duped by someone. AC works now though, so the job was done right.

I called Precision on July 28 after having accidentally cut the coolant line to our central air unit. Dominic came out that same day to look at the job and give me a quote. The price was quite high, but almost entirely due to the cost of the R-22 refrigerant that our system requires (it is an old unit). Dominic came back the next day to repair the line, purge and re-charge the system. He did what he could to hold down the cost, by leaving to do other work while the system was charging. We all appreciated his very fast response, since this was one of the hottest weekends of the season, I appreciated his concern for my wallet. I would definitely call Precision again, for any future heating/AC work we need done.

The old HVAC system died while we were away on vacation. Dominic came over while we were away (coordinated the timing with the housesitter) and discussed the issue and next steps with us by phone. The new system was ordered and installed the first day back from vacation, with the exception of the humidifer connections that were not available at that time. New system has been working fantastic - we have even had to turn the thermostat up from our usual setting as the house was getting cooler than before. The last step in the process was completed Friday with minimal fuss and disruption (everything was prepped and ready to go so they would not need to disrupt our day for longer than necessary. We would never go anywhere else for HVAC work - Dominic Sr & Jr are both hardworking, punctual, and courteous.

My air conditioner unit was not cooling the house at all. I called Precision Heating and Dominic came right over and worked on the motor and filled the compressor with Freon. My unit is very old, so it was a challenge to get it to work but he worked very hard and was able to get it up and running for me. I was so grateful for the cool air! He was very patient and professional. I think I will need a new system soon but he did not try to pressure me or talk me into replacing the unit at all. When I am ready to replace the system, I will definitely call him.

From the beginning, it was a pleasure working with the Dominics. They were clear and concise with their plan to replace our sixty year old boiler and were patient when answering all of my questions, which were numerous. Once we had signed a contract and paid our deposit, the boiler was ordered and arrived in the timeline Precision had provided. On the day of installation, the boiler was dropped off by a third party and the Dominics arrived shortly thereafter. Work went smoothly and was completed in a short amount of time. Removing the old boiler, which they described as "born in" our basement before the actual house was built, proved difficult. Precision had to come back another time to attach it to a pick up to be hauled out. The gentlemen handled this annoying, and I'm sure somewhat nerve racking, task quickly and professionally and cleaned up completely when they were finished. When we had an issue re-starting the boiler later that winter, Dominic Sr. talked me through it on the phone, rather than charge me for a visit. Top notch customer service. We intend to stick with Precision for our yearly maintenance and for our heating needs from here on out. I would, and have, recommended them to others.

We found Precision Heating and AC on Angie's list and called them because of their high reviews and location. We called them early that next morning and Dominic said they would be out at some point that day. He kept on contact with us throughout the day to give us an idea of when he would be able to arrive. He arrived mid afternoon and had our air on within minutes. We need a new capacitor which he had in the truck and was able to replace immediately. He also cheeked our freon level and added some freon. We were also able to use the 5% coupon that his company had on Angie's list. Dominic was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I would recommend him and use him again.

Not very good with returning phone calls, but in the end the AC is fixed and I am happy.

I have always been impressed. They have great integrity and responsiveness. The fact that they make an appointment and keep it, and they're just normal people that you're very comfortable having in your house. It's a father-son team and they do a nice job. We scheduled the job, they came and everything was as it should be and everything was reasonably priced. The thermostat didn't like losing power and being turned on and off and it has worked flawlessly and I saved a lot of money on the air conditioning and heating system compared to the old system that we replaced. When I had a short term problem, I got him within the hour and he stayed on the phone with me for probably 15-20 minutes walking me through and he had me do a number of things to kill the memory that was corrupted. His professionalism is excellent but they're just normal people so you do not get any feeling that you could not or would not trust them.

It was amazing. I called Precision for a problem I thought I had, and when Casey got here, he figured out the 'real" problem and fixed it. The price was reasonable and Casey was a true professional. He explained everything he was doing and treated me with respect. Thanks Precision. I'm so glad I called and I'll definitely be using you again!

It was a very busy day for Dominic. While it took him awhile to get to me, he kept in contact and let me know where I was on the list. When he got here, he was able to quickly determine the problem and get it fixed. The line that drains the condensation had frozen and the safety features had shut down the furnace. He also provided some maintenance advice. I have recommended him to others and I have added him to my address book as my heating and a/c supplier.

Dominic Sr & Jr were both very professional and helpful. Months after receiving their estimate our upstairs ac unit broke. Dominic Jr came out and repaired the unit although it was a little tricky finding parts for the unit. He also offered to deduct the cost of the repair from the installation price of our new units. We love our new ac&heating units. Dominic and his father did a great job on the install and always promptly return my calls whenever I have a question. They also kept the work area clean and I received all rebates as promised. |

They came in April. They were great, it was a man and his son. They came out and they were here all day and they did a great job. They re-routed the piping so that it wouldn't, the moisture wouldn't leak on my drop ceiling and they were in and out, they just spent the whole day here, they were very kind. They sat in their truck for lunch and I said you could come in. But they were like no, no, no. we don't want to interrupt, we don't do that. They were great. I had a problem with the humidifier that they put in like a week later, it kind of fell off and he came back and fixed it for me, no problem. I just thought they were really, really good. I would recommend them. It was a Trane product so it was more expensive than the others but I needed something that would last. I know Trane lasts so I'm okay, I thought it was fine.
