Ed and his team are great. They are very flexible, responsive, and friendly to interact with. They even like hanging out with our dog. They do a great job with beautiful results. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I had just bought a new house and needed hardwood floors installed within a short timeframe. Ed answered his phone on first contact and was able to meet with me within 20 minutes to give an estimate. Within two days the flooring was delivered and work was complete in less than a week! The floors look amazing! Everyone keeps complimenting the floors because they look that great! I would definitely recommend Ed and his crew to anyone who needs their floors refinished or new wood floors. They were professional throughout the process and even did a nice clean up job afterwards!

When the work we planned to do suddenly had to change, Ed quickly put together new estimates for alternative options that were very reasonable. Everything came out great, and they were able to blend our old and new floors seemlessly. They were prompt, professional, and did fantastic work from start to finish. We could not have been any happier

We ended up having to terminate in mid-contract with them and bring in somebody else to finish. The cost of their service was rather high, it was like $6,000. First of all, from an installation stand point, we found out now a lot of the floors cupping and creaking and cracking. When I got to the finish, the finish was done poorly, there were footprints in the finish, it was put on unevenly, it was globbed on. I had to bring somebody else in to sand it down and refinish it, but they could not fix the installation problem, so we are living with them now, more less. So, we are very dissatisfied with their service. Obviously, could improve his quality. I suggest also, he maybe check his equipment to make sure it?s working properly and also be more receptive to fixing what the customer perceives as imperfections or mistakes if you will, problems with a job. He became very defensive, at which point we terminated the deal, and he walked away with what he had collected at that point. We walked away not paying him the reminder, cause we had to pay somebody else to come in and fix it.

Excellent! The work was great and the team was as well. They were flexible to our schedules, and even did some cleanup we weren't expecting. Professional, pleasant, and worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. Pricing was very fair as well!

Job was done well but I feel better communication regarding quarter round and other specifics of job could have been better. Recommend customers be thorough in asking for details of job.

They did a great job for a reasonable price. The only issue I had was that our start date was pushed back twice due to their other projects taking longer than expected. Ed did one of the bedrooms free as consolation for his delayed start. Can't beat that deal!

Ed and his team were great. We got three estimates from local hardwood floor companies. Ed's estimate fell in the middle, closer to the lower estimate than to the higher one. He refinished our entire home, including 4 bedrooms, living, dining, family ,and stairs. We decided to go with Sheridan Flooring based on price and reviews that we had read. We are glad we did. Ed and his team were very easy to work with, we had no issues communicating or scheduling with them. They actually went out of their way to make things work because we only had about a 10 day window between closing on our new home and moving in. We also were having a contractor remove a wall at the same time. Ed was able to start on the second floor while the contractor was working on the first floor to ensure that everything would be done on time. He also used wood from a closet to patch the area where the wall was removed, and replaced the closet with new wood. As Ed explained, the new wood can look slightly different than what already exists, and he was right. The patching is not even noticeable since he used wood from the closet, it looks great. We narrowed it down to 3 stains, which the guys put samples down for us to compare and make our final decision. Now that we are all moved in, we have been getting compliments on how nice the floors look. I would definitely use Sheridans Wood Floor again, and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of work.

Workmanship was impeccable and the finished product is beautiful. They even blended in the other oak thresholds we had to match and finished of with final trim. I would definitely hire them again and the price for the quality was great. They truly stick to what they know and do it well. When we first met I asked about prefinished products and Ed told me that the only problem is that they have no history on how long the finishes will last and how well they will hold up. He recommended the good old fashioned tried and true method and his price was less than the pre finished in comparison. Best of all the final finish he uses is maintenance free. No wax no polish. We love the floor.

because the job was small and i was in a hurry (my house has been in a pod since Sept. and the replacement furniture had started coming in) because the rooms were still empty, he said that he could squeeze me in on Saturday the ninth. well it has come and one and i have not heard form him. really irritated. i thanked him so much for getting me- what a waste.

Ed and his crew are great! Before I talk to Ed I had an idiot (another company) do my floors, it was beyond bad to say the least. After kicking him out I found Ed. Not only did he and his crew saved my floors but the exceeded any expectations I had for how good the floors looked. Thanks Ed, and will be calling you soon.
