Description of Work: She lied about estimates. We never acquired estimates. She used her incompetent brother instead. She over-billed me. She jacked up the price on an oriental rug that she kept pushing on me, but I didn't even want it. She told me that I was getting a discount, but I paid the same price that I would've paid if I bought it at a store. I believe that this is called "puffering". She overcharged for the timesheets. She fraudulently represented the quality of certain materials. She hired unlicensed subcontractors. Her brother was an unlicensed contractor. She charged me 100% for the furniture before she ordered it and I never received some of it. She kept lying to me saying that they were ordered and on the way. She also lied to me about getting a building permit for doing a renovation on my bathroom. She actually suggested not getting one. She didn't listen to my vision for my home, and placated what I should do and it was the opposite of what I wanted. There was a lack of proportion for my home. Everything she picked was too large and wouldn't fit into the space. I never received any money back for the undelivered furniture. I wanted to focus on the renovations and she contiually disregarded that and pushed the furniture on me. She should've focused on the renovations so that I could move in with a functional bathroom. She went 200% over budget. She failed to obtain written approval for purchases, construction contracts, and work orders. Her contractor did not meet codes and standards. I brought in another electrician and they were appalled. She was unresponsive to my lawyer, as well as the attorney general's letter. She violated the Pennsylvania Consumer Protection Act.
