Mike and his team did a great job transforming our backyard by adding a covered patio and pool deck for us. They took our ideas and made them a reality, working through all of the normal construction hurdles that came up. Their craftmanship is top notch. They went above and beyond to include little things like access to our dryer vent under the deck, including a custom pool gate to match the deck railing, and creating a way to cover up the sides of stairs with Trex. We are already looking to have Mike and his team complete another project for us soon. You won't be sorry to use them for your next project.

We had reached out to several contractors to get quotes on our project. The previous two contractors we intended to use had to cancel due to various reasons, so the search continued, and we were so glad to finally find Michael Goetz from Goetz Construction. They are absolute professionals, and they do excellent work. My husband is a retired woodworker/craftsman, so he knows what to look for and has very high standards. Michael Goetz walked us through the process and kept us in the loop every step of the way. The demo of the existing stairs went well and the new steps, railings, etc. are absolute perfection!!! Everything is very sturdy now and you can see they take pride in their work and are true craftsmen. The crew was courteous, hardworking, and kept the construction area tidy. Showed up on time and worked until completion of the job. They were efficient, responsive, and easy to communicate with. A special “Thank you” to Michael, Steve, and crew!!! Goetz Construction did an EXCELLENT job, and we highly recommend them and would call them for any future work.

We recently turned a wooden deck into a Trex Enhanced deck and just like that, improved the look, value and functionality of our home and outdoor space. Everyone knows, no maintenance vs staining every year is a no brainer BUT since our deck was finished, I can’t count how many times I’ve looked out at it – thinking how gorgeous it looks and “oh by the way, it’s always going to look like this”!!! The product we picked was extensively researched and compared to various levels of Trex as well as other top brands – they have all come a long way since composite hit the market back in the 90’s. We’re happy with Trex Enhanced, the warranty and most importantly the end result. Now, let me speak to the contractor and his entire crew. Like most people, we obtained three estimates for this project – two from well-known deck/fence companies and one from Goetz Contracting. Although we typically lean toward hiring small businesses for projects, finding the right one that you can trust with your project and your money can be a challenge. Michael Goetz was the third estimate we received but we had a good feeling about him immediately. We talked with him over the next few weeks, made the decision to go with Goetz Contracting and got on his calendar for October; he said the project would take about 2 weeks. The crew showed up October 3rd and the project took exactly 2 weeks and 2 days. They were here all day, every day and very serious about making our deck everything we wanted it to be. They are all knowledgeable, kind, respectful and extremely good at what they do, doing it all with such precision and accuracy and cleaning it all up at the end of each day. In the process, they removed and re-attached our umbrellas, all the plant hooks, carried our heavy tables off and back onto the deck, tweaked some things I changed my mind about, and did everything possible to make us happy. I cannot say enough about this company, the entire crew, and have forwarded their link to three friends/family – so far. If you need deck work, this is the company you want to hire. You will not be disappointed and you will love your new deck – Michael and his crew will make sure of that.

Mike was very prompt in answering questions and providing a quote. Defiantly one of the good guys! He, his brother, and crew were all very professional and got right to work. High quality workmanship. Everything was cleaned up afterwords and Mike checked in multiple times to ensure we were happy and to see if there was anything subsequent he could do. If you’re looking for a contractor go with these guys. You won’t be disappointed!

Our experience with Goetz Contracting was fantastic. The owner, Michael, quickly responded to my initial inquiry and then worked with us to design a new deck and select the materials. He gave us an estimate as to when the project would begin and then started the project on time. Michael, his brother and the rest of the team continuously worked to tear down the old deck and construct the new one. Michael checked on us throughout the duration of the project and addressed our questions during the build. He is a true professional and it is no surprise that this was such a good experience for us because he is running the show. From the time we first reached out to the very last day of the project, the communication was exceptional. He worked with our ideas, made some great suggestions and completed the work in a timely manner, almost exactly when predicted. (They are busy, so may be a wait, but well worth it!). The crew, led by Mike's brother, was friendly, professional, and meticulous. They cleaned up daily and paid great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Goetz to someone looking for a team to finish their basement. They just finished our basement, including a full bath, and it looks great! We actually began with an outdated finished basement, which I think made things harder because some poor/odd decisions were made in the original work many years ago. Goetz worked with us to reclaim dead space, update, rewire, and redesign the area and we love it! They were super patient as some things took longer than expected (part of it being previously done...you never know what you'll find behind the walls). It is now a beautiful and inviting space that we are excited to use! Goetz and company were a kind and respectful group and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Amazing job. We really love our finished basement. I can't say enough about how well our dismal basement has been turned into a beautiful living area.

My basement room was unfinished and just used as a storage room. I started to frame it out for bathroom and game room years ago but never got too far along. Michael and his crew helped me iron out the room design and built the room into a nice "man cave" with big screen mounted TV, Wet Bar, new interior/exterior doors and half bath. Levi and Steve did a great job in making my ideas into reality. There was a lot of work that went into this and Goetz Contracting was certainly up for the challenge and they were very professional and really nice guys. Michael was able to keep the costs as tight as possible as this long project unfolded. My family is very happy with the new space and we are spending a lot of time in it right now. Perfect for entertaining and watching Steeler football games this fall.

Replace existing old composite deck with new composite decking and railings. Michael Goetz and company are excellent. Quality materials and work. I selected the higher end Trex decking along with Trex composite posts and aluminum railings. The lighting looks fantastic as well (see photos).

We were so pleased with our deck project in 2020 with Goetz Contracting that we had them come back for an interior renovation project. Mike was extremely helpful with suggestions when we were choosing Trex color combinations for deck and railings. We were updated frequently on scheduling before job start. Once work began the crew worked diligently to complete all work and they made sure to leave the work site clear each evening. Couldn't have been happier with Goetz Contracting. Gave us the best quote and stuck to it. Went way above and beyond. Our original deck color was discontinued but Mike found another Trex color nearly identical and because he felt bad that it was discontinued, he wrapped our posts for free! It's not like it was his fault the color was discontinued but this is how Goetz operates. The whole team was extremely professional. Last fall, we began looking for a deck builder. We found Goetz Contracting, Inc on Angie’s List. After looking at their website, we contacted 4 deck builders. Michael Goetz was timely and responsive to all communication,and he was direct with what they could do and could not do.. From the reviews and pictures of their work, we decided to wait to have them build our deck and get on their list. Michael came out and spent the necessary time to listen to what we wanted and gave us some helpful recommendations as well. Last week, they came Tuesday AM and finished our 15’x20’ Trex deck on Friday afternoon. The crew was experienced and conscientious. Our deck looks amazing! It looks exactly what we intended it to be when we designed it. It is well made and is of high quality. The black wrought iron spindles, white Trex wrapping, and lighting put it over the top! At the end, Goetz Contracting, Inc wanted us to be 110% happy - they came back to do some very minor adjustments the very same day I called them. We really liked how the the black iron spindles looked and ask if they could change out the railing on the front porch. They said absolutely and had that replaced within the week! We are extremely happy with our experience with Goetz Contracting, Inc. We definitely would use them again!

Goetz Contracting did a great job finishing our basement. The entire experience was excellent, and we are thrilled with the finished product. Michael was transparent and honest from day 1, which gave us great peace of mind throughout the entire process. His estimates on start date and duration were spot on, and he maintained great communication along the way, so we always knew what to expect. Michael and his team turned our empty basement into the new family favorite spot. I can’t say enough about the quality of the work. From the time he came to give us an estimate, we were impressed with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness. Along the way, we had a few communication hiccups but we were always able to talk through things and come to an agreement. The onsite crew was a pleasure to have at our home each day and were great when answering our questions and responding to any requests. Goetz was the middle estimate from all that we got and overall, we’re happy we made the decision we did. When we are ready for our next major home project, we’ll likely be calling Michael for an estimate.

We hired Mike Goetz and crew to tear down our old deck and have a new one built (25x14 ). Mike agreed to a fair estimate during these Covid -19 times. The work was to start in Dec as per contract. The work started on time and a team of 4 workers worked diligently every day for about 9 days, never wasted any time, promptly showed up at 8:00 am every day, and left around 4:30 pm. The crew worked hard to meet the requirements of the Borough of Franklin Park and maintain safety standards. Truly a committed team. We are very happy with our deck it looks beautiful all the colors and materials selected blended well with our home. GREAT WORK, GREAT TEAM!
