Goetz Contracting

Goetz Contranting was definitely the right choice for our project and we already have plans to work with them again in the future. We were looking to add an off-street parking pad off of the alley behind our house. We also wanted to dig back the bank behind the house, expanding our back patio and and replacing a retaining wall in the process. Michael came to review our project in person. He was able to give some really great suggestions and options for us to consider. Once we came to a final decision regarding the details of our project, he was able to give us a very accurate estimate and start date with no surprises to come. He kept communication open, confirming details as our start date approached and checked in often throughout the project to ensure that we were satisfied every step of the way. The guys working on the job were extremely skilled and very friendly and respectful of us and our neighbors. I can’t say enough about how happy we have been with both the execution of the project and the final result. I highly recommend Goetz contracting.

Working with Goetz Contracting was a great experience. Mike was very responsive. He was able to provide me with a quick quote over the phone based on the dimensions of the deck I was looking to build. When we met in person, he was able to provide me with some ideas and suggestions on how I can achieve what I was hoping for in our new deck. Since there would be some time between when the contract was signed and when work would begin (we knew this up front), Mike called to let me know approximately when they were planning to start the project and when we should expect to see his crew on the job. The crew was very nice, showed up on time and worked all day. Our deck looks beautiful and turned out much better than I imagined. The level of detail the guys put in to build this deck was amazing. There was constant communication with Mike throughout the project so we knew exactly what was going on. I would recommend Goetz Contracting to anyone and I would use them again for any projects I have in the future.

We hired Goetz Contracting twice for our deck and patio then to extend our patio and add a firepit.Both times he gave us a fair price and did high quality work in a reasonable amount of time. Michael is extremely responsive and catered to the design we were looking for while giving us additional ideas that turned out beautifully. We would definitely hire him again if needed.

Michael was very responsive from inquiry through the end of the job. Michael was able to engineer a roofing solution where other contractors could not. Emails and calls were returned very promptly. He and his team were courteous, easy to work with, and professional. The team showed-up on time, put in a full workday, and completed the job a few days early. We would certainly use Goetz Contracting again and would highly recommend them to others.

Goetz Contracting were extremely professional. They were polite and discussed issues with us before proceeding with the project. We met with Michael and hired his firm to build a medium size deck with cellular PVC material. He and the team delivered everything we were looking for, a week ahead of schedule, with the team doing some weekend and holiday work (with our permission) to get things finished. There's not much to add that isn't in the other outstanding reviews.

It was not an easy job due to the odd shape and angles of my existing house. Mike designed a structure that looked even better than we had envisioned. Goetz Contracting has knowledgeable true craftsmen who are professional and courteous. They worked hard, cleaned up daily and addressed any concerns that we had. We highly recommend Goetz Contracting, you will not be disappointed.

I contacted Michael Goetz for an estimate to replace my small cement block porch with deck and sidewalk. Then I went to see one of his finished decks before I signed the contract. The owner of the finished deck told me he watched Mike’s crew build his neighbor’s deck, and he liked their work, so he hired them to build his deck with a roof. So I signed the contract. On the first day of work, the crew arrived early and prepared the work site. Then Mike arrived with the heavy equipment and they started the long process trying to demolish my 8’ foot high 1,000 lb cement porch, without it sliding into my neighbor’s house. That was a difficult job, with unexpected problems, but they took the extra time to protect their crew and my property. Once the porch was removed, they had another problem because that porch was built with a storage room underneath it that had a second cement floor 1’ below ground level. That second cement floor could cause drainage problems so Mike had them dig four big holes, breaking through the cement floor, to install the four deck posts. Once that was finished, they sloped the dirt away from the house and covered it in river rock. When the deck was finished, they poured a new sidewalk and planted grass. Because I wanted a maintenance free deck, I had the posts and beams under the deck wrapped in white vinyl. Then I chose Endeck PVC Decking (dark Sequoia) for the floor color, and white Enrail vinyl railing (See pictures below.) In closing, I would recommend Goetz Contracting because their crew works hard and everyone does their job. They arrive early each morning and they cleaned up before they left each day. This crew battled multiple storms that turned the job site into mud, and extreme heat that caused exhaustion, but they kept working and only stopped to have lunch each day.

Goetz contracting did an excellent job. Contractor handled every aspect of the job from design, building permits, installation, cleanup and landscape restoration. Goetz was very open and responsive to minor adjustments as the job progress. They were very punctual each morning and worked the entire day. The crew was very professional and most courteous and respectful and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company.

We were very impressed with the way that Goetz Contracting figured out how to give us exactly what we wanted for a complicated addition to our existing deck. Everything went as promised, from the start date to the timeline for completion. There was one small issue with the inspection (the inspector didn't approve lock placement on the pool gate), but they came back immediately to fix it. We also really appreciated how the crew took the time to keep the workspace clean and safe. Overall an excellent experience.

Mike and his crew did a fantastic job. They showed up on time as committed and worked diligently to get the job done. We are extremely satisfied with their work and the end result - the deck is beautiful. The new stairs made a big difference as Mike changed the pitch of the stairs to make them easier to use. The crew kept their tools neat and orderly during the construction and after the project was finished they cleaned everything up and it was spotless. I would highly recommend Mike Goetz and his crew to others for your project and we plan to hire Mike again for another job in the near future.

New toilet was placed in old shower stall area ( Old toilet was beside old vanity ). Four towels racks and outlet covers were installed. When I walk into my bathroom now I can't stop from looking all around because I feel like I've just walked into a fancy hotel resort bathroom !! I LOVE IT !

I was very impressed with the my entire experience and would rank Goetz as the best contractor I have worked with to date. The job was done exactly to my standards and the management made sure that I had everything I needed to make the esthetic decision from samples to drawings. Punctuality and responsiveness were on point throughout the sales and implementation process. The management and crew was very respectful and I cannot even remember a time that I was not addressed as “Yes Sir”. When I asked for something it was done without question. The product exceeded my expectations on quality and the cleanup was fantastic. They raked the yard up of debris for cutting the material, power washed the deck, and took all the trash with them every night. The level of effort was so extensive that they even rolled up the extension cord I had put out for them to charge batteries etc during the process. I would use this team again.

Some of the drywall didn't match up. The wood ledge they put on my window still had the home depot sticker on it and I could not remove it. Then the ledge fell off because it was not glued down properly. And the painter slopped paint on a lot of my wood trim.

From the first meeting where we received a quote until the job was completed only took 3 days. Mike was very responsive via e-mail and on the phone. His crew was prompt and courteous and they did very good work. Our deck railings are now far more secure and are of much better quality . What was promised was delivered. They cleaned up the workspace very well and even hauled away other debris that weren't even related to their project. Received a call right after the job was completed to make sure that we were satisfied.
