Michael was very professional & responsive from the start of designing throughout the completion of the project. He went extra miles to kindly accommodate my late change in design. The crew performed an excellent job and finished the deck ahead of schedule. Highly recommended!

The job from start to finish went excellent. Michael Goetz and his crews were professional, meticulous and hard working. Two things really set them apart. 1) The communication by Michael during the entire process (from pricing design to completion) was the best I have experienced in any of my previous 30 years in working with contractors. Period. 2) The quality of the crew personnel was top tier. No shortcuts, just craftsmen with a great work ethic.

They were wonderful to work with, friendly and personable. From tearing down the deck to finish it was only two weeks. Everything was beautiful and excellent quality work. I would hire them again without a doubt. Excellent Company!!!

Great experience with a very professional contractor. Michael and his team created a fabulous outdoor space for our family enjoy. The project went very smoothly, everyone was very courteous, the site was kept neat during construction and the project was completed much faster than I thought it could be. Allow me to qualify my review. I’m skeptical by nature and cynical from experience. I worked construction for 10 years and owned retail businesses for years. I know quality from garbage and hard work from slacking. To best measure the quality of our new deck we waited a year to submit our review. I’m delighted to say our new Trex deck remains beautiful & superbly built. Geotz Contracting owner Michael Geotz is one of the finest contractors I’ve had the privilege to work with. The quality of work from start to finish was first rate. Communication was excellent, schedule was on time, entire crew was courteous, kind and skilled. Michael promised me- “I won’t leave this job until you’re satisfied”. Usually such talk is BS. But upon completion there was one thing I wanted changed. A change beyond the scope of my contract. Nevertheless Michael made the change right away at no additional cost. He’s a man of his word. Our deck is one story up on the rear of the house. Walking on the old wood deck made it shake. The railing posts were poorly supported and too far apart. The railing had a top rail, but no bottom rail. Balusters were nailed to the outside joist. It was dangerous. The old deck caused water to leak into our basement. Our new deck is unbelievably sturdy. The railing posts are boxed into the joists below the deck and reinforced with multiple rugged mechanical fasteners. Leaning against the railing couldn’t be safer. Railing posts are encased in a perfectly color coordinated Trex material. Posts also have built in lighting. Railings have a proper upper and lower rail with elegant balusters. Geotz Contracting flashed the house watertight, completely eliminating the old leaks. We are 100% satisfied customers. I know Geotz Contracting’s calendar fills up quickly. Goetz Contracting recently installed a deck in our backyard. The workmanship was excellent, with the skill of the personnel and the quality of the product being superior. The installation was timely, methodical and meticulous, with the crew arriving each day in a consistent manner and cleaning up thoroughly at the end of the day, and especially so at the end of the project. The crew was open, friendly and receptive to questions during their time at our home. Mike Goetz and his crew take immense pride in their work, and it shows. Mike was consistently professional and honest, and his easygoing and open manner made the whole experience very pleasant. We are extremely happy with him and strongly recommend Goetz Construction to others.

Can't say enough great things about Goetz Contracting! My mother in law asked for my help in finding a contractor to finish her basement. I reached out to Michael Goetz in early February 2020 and he got right back to me and arrived promptly for our scheduled walk through. From the time he showed up we could tell he was different then the other contractors we had out to survey the job. Out of the 4 contractors we visited with he was the one my mother in law and I felt the most comfortable with. He was very professional. courteous and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with the quick turnaround on the proposal. We met with him on a Friday and he had two options we could consider on Sunday! We were pleased to find he was right in the ballpark of what we were expecting to pay; not the cheapest and not the most expensive. He also assured us he could get the job done very quickly and was able to fit us into his schedule for immediate start.The crew got the job fully completed within a month of starting the remodel including; framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting and trim! As you can see form the pictures his crew does excellent work! Michael's brother Steve was the lead and was just as courteous and knowledgable as his brother Mike. They took great care to explain every situation to my mother in law and ensure things were being done to her liking. Being an older home there were a few challenges they had to work around with in terms of building out the bathroom and dealing with existing pipes and weird bulkheads but they handled the challenges with ease. My mother in law requested a glass shower door near the end of the project and Michael was very accommodating to the ask. He gave us a fair quote for the install and even agreed to purchase the door and pick it up for us at Home Depot and just tacked in on to the final amount due. As you can see in the picture, it looks amazing! So again, we couldn't be more happier with the results and highly recommend Goetz Contracting! I wish all contractors were as professional as Goetz Contracting is! They really are the complete package!

Goetz Contracting did an outstanding job of building a large deck that runs the full length of the back of our home. They used Trex materials and installed led lights. Steve Goetz conferred with us on the placement of the led lights. All conversations were done from a distance because of Covid 19. They installed a beautiful cedar overhang over half the deck with a great Harbor Breeze fan. All the guys worked very hard in less than perfect weather conditions. It is important for me to mention they practiced social distancing while building this deck. Also, they did a good job cleaning up after the project was complete. This is the third time we have used this contractor! They built a gorgeous deck on our home in South Park and remodeled our family room and bathroom 4 years ago. Our home in South Park sold in 2 days and 5 people wanted that home. We know it’s because of the wonderful workmanship and materials Goetz used. We highly recommend them!!👍

We solicited 3 quotes for a large deck job and Goetz Contracting won the bid. From the first step of providing an estimate through completion of work, Goetz delivered as promised. On time, honest, organized, professional, respectful, detailed, experienced, and diligent is how we would describe the company and its people. Really great job by Mike and his crew. Everything was extremely professional from the beginning. The crew was friendly, informative and very hard working. The weather was challenging to say the least, but everything was completed in a timely manner. We were particularly impressed with the clean-up they did every day. These gentlemen take pride in their work and really 'do it right' the first time. We know we will be calling them for future improvements.

Mike was very prompt and fit me in before he was due to start a large project. He completed everything as described and my deck looks great.

We decided to go with someone else that had done work for other family members. Having said that, Mike Goetz was very professional and courteous. I sent him an email stating that we appreciated his interest and would keep him in mind if there are future projects.

We hired Goetz contracting to install a french door where we originally had double hung windows in dining room, in order to gain access to the large deck they would be building off of the side and rear of our home. Michael Goetz gave me a quote over the phone (answered the first time I called him), and kept in touch with me as we pondered different ideas and options. We decided to sign with them and he kept me updated on when they would be starting the project. Mike was always available for me to reach with a question or concern...he takes his customer’s satisfaction very seriously. The crew (Steven Goetz, Dave, Steve, Cody, Skip, Dan and several others) worked so well together and were a pleasure to have around. They worked tirelessly in some really bad weather right before Christmas (freezing rain, snow etc). The finished deck and french doors and so beautiful and well done. We can’t wait to really put it to good use once the weather breaks! Thank you guys!

Mike and his contractors were amazing! They were professional and courteous. They arrived on time every day and cleaned up every single day before leaving. The deck turned out beautifully and we have already gotten many compliments on it. Our old deck was unsafe. I finally feel safe having my family on the deck! Bonus...they were able to schedule our project earlier than we expected and were finished earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and they will be my first choice for future projects.

We love our new stone patio! Owner Michael Goetz was very helpful in the stone selection and design process. He and his crew were courteous and respectful and completed the project ahead of schedule. We are extremely pleased with their quality and workmanship and have already recommended Goetz Contracting to friends and neighbors. We plan to hire Goetz Contracting again to add a stone bench wall to our patio.

Michael and crew were exceptional. They replaced an aging damaged deck with a beautiful new second story wooden deck and a water drainage system that has made the space beneath it much more functional. They installed a beautiful cedar ceiling beneath the deck and stained it to match as well as beautifully tying in the deck to an existing spiral staircase. Hardworking crew, dealt with every problem that came up in a professional manner, were easy to get along with, and produced first rate work. I would hire them again for any projects of this nature.

Goetz Contracting put a deck on our home. See attached pictures. From the very beginning, it was a good experience. They returned calls, kept appointments, answered email, and did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. The team that did the work was professional and hard working. The deck is gorgeous and no-maintenance (Trex). My husband is an engineer and he was impressed with the quality of construction. They did not take any shortcuts.

Michael Goetz and his crew did a great job. Michael worked with us on the design. He finished the deck ahead of schedule. The job involved grading the front yard. He made custom built bench seating. The VEKA vinyl decking is solid, the color is perfect, and it cleans easily. Everyone who sees the deck remarks how beautiful it is. We are very happy with our deck. It adds a whole new living area for our house.

We are very happy with the job Mike and his people did. They are courteous, timely and above all experts at what they do. The basement looks great. I should add we had them install a deck and a patio a couple of years ago. That turned out great as well. Would hire them again if I had anything else to do, and would certainly recommend them.

Couldn't be happier. The project was completed earlier than planned. We had a few unusual requests regarding a privacy panel that had to comply with HOA rules and a pergola installed on the upper deck. Mike and the crew seamlessly incorporated the pergola into the railing. He also kept in touch with us regularly via text and e-mail (including photos) as we were away on vacation during the work. We did not get other estimates as I was impressed with Mike's professionalism and other reviews on Angie's List so I can't comment on price.
