He was always on time and picked up all the debris from the job .. He was very nice to deal with ..honest.. and trustworthy.. His team worked hard and the roof was on in 2 days ... I would definitely hire him again.. He re sided the dormer and put aluminum sills on all my.. windows

They took the old gutters and replaced them with new seamless gutters.. Dan's crew was very professional and did a wonderful job. Dan said my front gutter was the longest seamless he had put on a house... He did a BEAUTIFUL job.. The crew cleaned up so well, that there was no evidences left behind...

They called and arrived when they said. Within 10 minutes they had the job assessed and were working away. One gentlemen had to run to get longer lag screws to do the job correctly which I greatly appreciated him doing and not just making it look nice!! The other stayed to clean out the rest of the gutters. Both were very professional and courteous. The work looks great and I'm comfortable it is done correctly and will last as long as the roof will!

Extremely professional. Promptly returned my phone call for an estimate. Came to my home in the time stated. Took measurements and provided an estimate on the spot along with providing brochures and information about the type of products proposed. Five Star Roofing came to our home on the stated installation date and got to work immediately. The crew worked very hard for two days straight. The quality of workmanship was fantastic. Dan and his Five Star Roofing crew are real professionals. Something that is often not heard of when it comes to contracting work. Our home looks great and we are completely pleased... and no up-charges or changes from the original estimate.

Daniel Willis is my go to guy for my gutter and roofing needs. Daniel immediately made himself available and came to my house ASAP. Daniel checked my roof and gutters and made some minor adjustments at a very low cost. Daniel even told me that my shingles had a recall a few years back and to contact the company about replacing them. Daniel is an honest man, and will not try to sell you on costly repairs. Daniel is willing to do what it takes to save you money.

Dan was easy to get hold of and scheduled an actual time/date to come out and give me a free estimate. The estimate was given that day and was very straightforward. It was also much lower than the other two I had gotten by other roofers. He was absolutely a no pressure-type person. When I agreed to have him do my roof he took the extra time to look and make sure there was no mold where the leak had been and fixed two vents that were put in incorrectly during the original construction of my home. He found the source of the leak and also fixed that. Months later I had some soffit that came off due to the wind (he didn't do anything with the soffit initially). I called him and he came out within a couple days and fixed it very quickly. Home construction can be really stressful and of all the contractors I've used in the last 6 months for renovations, he is the one that I am most pleased with.

Five Star really came through for me in a tight spot. I had another company in to renovate my guest bathroom. There had been stains on the ceiling but no active leaks until this summer. The best way to figure out where the leak was coming from was to cut open the ceiling so Dan, at Five Star, suggested that we wait until the renovation company removed the ceiling, then he could come take a look. The ceiling was partially cut away Friday and Dan came Saturday night. Figured that the leak was from at least one improperly installed vent boot. He could come early next week to fix all 3 vents to keep the problem from reoccurring or starting up in another spot. Monday morning the renovations guys came and let me know that the new ceiling had to go up that day whether the leak was fixed or not. I called Dan in a panic since rain was in the forecast for the next day. He came out in a few hours and did the repairs. Now that is fast service. Thanks Five Star for coming so quickly and saving the day.

Previous to purchasing my home in 2003, holes were put on the edge of my roof for moving purposes. I own a double-wide and once the home was brought here on land and put in place, some of the holes (that were used to move/carry my home), weren't caulked so therefore water made it's way after many years through one of the holes. Dan got his ladder out and caulked the holes so I would have no more water problems coming in my house and running down the wall. I am very happy with Dan's service and would definitely use him in the future.

He responded quickly to my message through Angie's list. He showed up when he told me he would to give me the estimate. The estimate was straight-forward and listed everything he would be doing. He didn't try to sell me any extras. He came to do the work when he said he would. The work took only 2 days and the crew cleaned up very well before they left each day. The roof looks great and it was a pleasure to work with this company.

He was prompt, made an emergency house call on a Sunday after I called him late Saturday night due to a rainstorm and our celing began to leak He took care of the issue promptly

Dan was very responsive to initial contact, Was out within 2 weeks to do the job even with all the rain we had. All the guys very nice, covered everything up before starting and cleanup was terrific. I had a leak around a drain-waste-vent pipe flange that was causing a wet spot on my bathroom ceiling. Five Star replied to my initial inquiry within hours and was here to do the work within two days. The roofer kept me up to date on his planned arrival at my home. I previously had another roofing company look at the problem and they went up on the roof and then told me everything looked fine. A few months later I was still having an issue. When the roofer from Five Star arrived and looked at the problem from the ground, he said that he could tell right away what the problem was. He repositioned the rubber gasket on the flange and there was still a gap, so he went ahead and replaced the gasket portion of the pipe flange. The whole job was complete within about 20 minutes. I am very happy with Five Star's responsiveness and service.

The owner, Dan Willis, was very professional, prompt and accommodating. He was able to fix the problem immediately. The other roofers that we called were not able to come out for several days. We were very pleased with the work.

Immediately came to give estimate when we called. Scheduled us quickly because our roof was leaking. Got here on time, took less time(only about 1/2 day) than quoted, even replaced some fascia he saw needed done on another part of roof. A month later after a few heavy storms.....NO Leaking! Happy with Dan and his crew.

Chimney had a chronic leaking issue. Properly flashed and sealed chimney. Not a drop of water during recent heavy rain storms. Replaced rotting wood siding with hardy board. Fit and finish looks good. Sealed all seams. Mis-aligned shingles replaced. Had to return to house to finish this job. Arrived on time, professional and cleaned- up all refuse. Would hire again and recommend to other home owners.

The crew arrived first thing in the morning, and got right down to business. They stripped the old roof down to the wood, and revealed the bad areas. They replaced some wood, and re-shingled the bad parts of the roof. What i liked most, was he thought taking off the roof around where the drip was would be best instead of just patching. They matched up the shingles color as close as possible and the roof looks awesome! They cleaned up behind their selves and even used a portable magnet to ensure no nails were left in the driveway! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone in need!!!!!!!

They did not think we needed to remove the snow at this time, so we did not have work performed.

Amazing! Look no further than this company . Dan's quote was very reasonable. He and his crew came promptly and finished the job in record time. Clean up was great. The roof is great looking. I will use him again and recommend him to everyone.

Daniel (Five Star Roofing) was on time and professional. He even offered to come out the same day I called. When Daniel arrived I showed him where the leak was and he immediately began working on my roof. Once Daniel found the leaks he immediately repaired the leaks and multiple areas of concern on my roof, he even checked my gutters. Once all was said and done (approximately 1 hour) he only charged $125. Only time will tell if Daniel fixed the leak 100%, but I'm sure he would have no problem coming back if the leaks continued. I would recommend Five Star Roofing because of their great service and reliability.

WONDERFUL JOB!!!! Amazed at how much he got done in one day and how great it looks! The garage was long overdue for soffitt facia replacement and the roof was catching up. the new vinyl looks AMAZING!!! He even reinstalled my clothes line that attached to one side of the garage!.. The new flashing around the chimney looks great, as do the repaired downspouts. It was pouring rain when he arrived, but he arrived on time anyway!!.. so impressed by that. Luckily the rain stopped soon after. I also want to remark on the clean up. OUTSTANDING!!!! It looked like magic elves had done the work. The extension cord I had l left for them was neatly coiled inside the garage.. very neatly! Not a nail or shingle bit anywhere. I would give Dan Willis and Five Star Roofing 10 stars for an outstanding job, prompt and courteous contact, and reasonable charges. HIGHLY recommended

I called at least 8 different roofing companies both listed here on Angie's list and out of the yellow pages and 7 of them either did not call me back or where only interested in replacing my entire roof. Daniel was was prompt in returning my call and was happy to come out and look at my roof. When I talked to him on Monday he was in the middle of completing a roof replacement and we made arrangements for him to come look at my roof on Wed. evening after he was finished at the other job. He arrived as scheduled and examined my roof from both the inside and outside (in the rain). He gave me a very reasonable estimate and told me he could come back on Friday to do the repair. Since it was raining he applied a temporary patch that would hold until he came back. Daniel arrived this morning as scheduled and I was surprised at how quickly he was able to correct the problem. He took all the old material away and even left me with some extra shingles. I was very satisfied with the work that he did and would be happy to recommend him to my friends. My roof is not old enough to be replaced, but when the time comes I will call Daniel.
