The owner Luke was very unprofessional, he would say one thing and not follow through on it. He told me he would do the job for the insurance payment amount and I wouldn't have any out of pocket expenses. When he found out what the payment was and that I had a higher deductible he asked for more money. He gave me a start date and I adjusted my work schedule accordingly, one hour after the time he said he would be there I called him to see what was going on only to find out he changed the date without telling me. We had a conversation about the money he was being provided to replace three sheets and he assured me he would take pictures to show that the sheets were replaced. I had to go out of town on the day of install and called him to see if he had started and he said his guys were there and I asked him to send pictures for confirmation in which he said he was going to do. I never received any pictures or heard anything from him until he called me and wanted the final installment the insurance company had paid out. I told him to stop by and get the check and was in the backyard working when he came. I did not hear him come and he called and left a voicemail and I called him back. I told him he could come back now or that I would leave the check in the mailbox because I had to leave. He asked for the additional $500 in out of pocket expenses in which I agreed to pay before the job. I told him I wasn't paying the additional $500 because he made up that money from the sheets he didn't replace and that he never sent any pictures. He acted dumb and said you didn't get the pictures. I said stop playing games you know **** well you didn't send any pictures and he said I didn't have to get nasty about it. I told him he got the money from the sheets he didn't replace and he said that had nothing to do with it because I agreed to pay the additional money and that $500 was nothing and is it about the Philadelphia Eagles losing. I told him again I wasn't paying and he started laughing and I said do you think this is a joke and he said he's trying to keep from getting ****** off. I told him that the contract only had a one year warranty on the workmanship but he gave me a verbal guarantee of 20 years and he said if it's about that he would put it in writing. He thanked me for my business and I hung up. I left two checks in the mail including the additional $500 out of pocket expenses and he picked both checks up and I haven't heard from him since and again not honoring his word he never put anything in writing for the 20 year workmanship guarantee after he said he would. He very unprofessional, disrespectful and not a man of his word. I would never refer anyone to him even if he agreed to do the work half priced!
