To give a little history, we have had ongoing problems with water in our finished basement and last year it was especially bad. We contacted Ron Schroyer to help us in October 2013 and he came out, evaluated our situation, and gave us advice on how to fix the problem. We took Ron's advice and had him dig a trench outside and connect two of our downspouts to the trench in order to divert water so our sump pump would be able to pump the water out. He did a remarkable job and we have not had any issues with the sump pump since then. However, that was only half of the problem, and we knew this. The water was also starting to come in through the walls, in the front of the house, which had nothing to do with the sump pump and this really needed attending to. When the time came for us to fix this (just this past week) we called Ron, and he came out and gave us an estimate for the job. We didn't hesitate to go ahead with him because we knew Ron would do a great job. Not only did he do a great job, he actually worked Saturday and Sunday for us because that's the time frame that worked the best for us. How many contractors do that? None, in my past experience!! Our basement is fully finished, with three separate rooms and the potential for it being a dusty job was pretty high. Ron came in, put double-plastic between the rooms, and also covered our big screen tv, computer, juke box, coke machine, and vending machine with dust covers so they wouldn't get dirty. No dust! He worked two full weekend days to get the job done for us and it is such a great feeling not to have to worry, now, every time it rains! Plus he gave us a lifetime guarantee on the job and the guarantee is transferrable. Ron Schroyer does a wonderful job, gives 110% at very reasonable prices, and we will never use another contractor for this line of work again. He is reliable, trustworthy, and is just a great guy. We are extremely pleased with everything he has done for us.

Ron installed a sump pump in my home. There had never been a sump pump before, so this included digging the pit and running the pipe outside into the yard. While there was a bit of a scheduling mix up for the installation date, Ron was very apologetic and flexible regarding rescheduling the work. The work was done very neatly and professionally. I would not hesitate to hire Ron in the future.

Ron was good and price was reasonable he cleaned everything up after he was done and after he was done it looked good and clean work too bottom line I would remand ron to any one he stops by to see how everything is working good to after he is done.

Unbelievable how wonderful it was to work with Ron and his wife Lisa. Ron provided me with a detailed estimate of what he wanted to do for these properties to guarantee a water free basement which included French drains and sump pumps. He described to me in detail what needed to be done etc. I decided to go with just the pumps for monitory reasons. Ron went out of his way to install; including shoveling snow to get to where he needed to be for installation; worked with the property management and renters to coordinate schedules etc. Ron and Lisa were courteous, professional and ON TIME! LOVE LOVE LOVE working with them and would NOT hesitate to call or use them again. Renters appreciated them too. Estimate was $1500 less than what was quoted to me by Regal for just single pumps in both properties.

We met with 5 different companies. Ron was a straight shooter told us what we needed and did not try and sell us on things we did not need. He was extremely knowledgeable and was the only one who had a true solution to our water problem. Ron and his team were extremely professional and the work they performed was top notch. They left the area cleaner than when they started the work. We also liked the fact Ron was the owner as well as the one performing the work. A must use if you have a water problem in your basement.

I got 4 estimates and he was the most knowledgeable out of everyone that came to my house. He did the most thorough inspection that I got. He actually helped me learn quite a few things about my own problem. He works full time for another company and does this in his spare time. He works in the water business. At one point he actually said that he didn't think this would be a job that he was interested in doing. I have a major problem with water and it was a little more than what he typically does. I appreciated his honesty in that. He is pretty much a straight shooter and doesn't feed a lot of crap. If he thinks he will do a good job, he will tell you that and if he thinks you should go with someone else, he will tell you that too and I appreciated that. I would recommend getting an estimate from him because you will learn something and get an honest opinion on your basement. I would have gone with him had his price been a little lower. Even though he didn't think he was the guy for the job, he still provided me with an estimate. He said he wanted to really think about my basement and where to discharge the water. My basement is on flat ground and he didn't want to discharge the water where it would come back, which was his main concern.

Ronald came to our location, inspected the situation, asked for our fax number and told us that he would fax a quote to us. That was approaching four months ago and we have not received a quotation or heard from Ronald Schroyer since.

We could not be more pleased with Ron Schroyer. He is one of the most professional contractors we have ever had the pleasure to come into contact and we would hire him again, in a heartbeat. We have a completely finished underground basement that has, in the past, problems with water coming in during a heavy rainstorm. For the most part it has been because our sump pump cannot handle the amount of water we get because the water couldn't run off fast enough for the pumps to get rid of the water. Ron came out and dug a trench away from the sump pump toward the street, dovetailing two different downspouts in order to divert all the water away from our home. Since we had a similar problem on the other side of our home he reconfigured our downspout to eliminate the problem of too much water there as well. He also purchased, delivered, and graded topsoil so we would not have to worry about the water going toward the foundation, thereby decreasing the odds of flooding from the front of our home. Although it has not rained heavily since he did the work, I have every confidence that the work Ron performed will go a long way to and quot;fixingand quot; the problem. If it does not it will absolutely not be the quality of his work, and we will call him back to continue resolving our problem. The quality of Ron's work is excellent and his customer service is impeccable. He has a great staff, he is very conscientious, and he does exactly what he says he is going to do at a hard-to-beat price. And I have no doubts that he will stand by his work. Truly a good man. We like him very much, as a contractor and a person.

We had a water problem in our basement, where water was coming in through the walls, plus the sump pump was not able to accommodate the amount of water it needed to handle. We called Ron and he came out immediately to help us in this stressful situation. He stayed and helped vacuum up the water and gave us very good advice. He took his time with us, went through our basement and over our property to evaluate what the problems are and advised what we needed to do. Since he came out when we needed him, he didn't have the opportunity to do all the measurements he needed to do so he couldn't give us an estimate right then, but he arranged to come out in the next day or two to finalize the evaluation. He even called us the next day (today) to see how we were faring with our basement. If only every contractor was that reliable and thoughtful! Great guy, great office staff!!,

Ron and his crew were punctual, polite and did exactly what he quoted. They arrived on the first day and installed the re-bar in the wall and removed the base plate on the wall. Day 2 they jack hammered the floor and removed all the debris, poured stone in the trench and put in the drain tile and pipe. They also dug the hole for the pit and installed it. Day 3 they concreted over the stone and ran the discharge line outside. They tested the pump to ensure no leaks. Ron had someone come in to vacuum and dust the basement. That was beyond my expectations. They cleaned up all debris and supplies. The bill was exactly as quoted. UPDATE: 10/14/2013 After the heavy rains that came through the area last week, the system Ron installed worked like a champ. We had over 10 inches of rain and no water in the basement.

Rons Basement Waterproofing was very professional, and they went above and beyond to complete a job well done. What a very different experience from other contractors I have worked with in the past. He returned my call the same day.They showed up when the said they would and completed the job quickly. Ron and his crew were great. i would highly recommend this company.
