We thought we could do the repairs ourselves until the 50-year-old pipe crumbled within the fitting. We called our normal plumber and he was booked for the week. We had no pipes in the kitchen sink and needed a repair as soon as possible. We contacted John at J.G. Henry and he called back right away to find out name, location, and scope of work to see if he could help. Within one hour we made initial contact, set up for appointment later in afternoon, and received a call back that he had a cancellation and was on his way if that worked for us. He called prior to coming with an ETA, and was here a few minutes early. John came in, accessed the damage, and provided a ballpark cost and time quote on the spot. He had all the materials on his truck, including a new sink strainer that was not part of the original estimate. He was finished in half an hour, including the clean up and testing of new drain. His quote was accurate and very fair. We felt comfortable with him right away, He was pleasant and professional, experienced, and very knowledgeable. He has 28 years of experience and knows the industry well. He also gave us some time to discuss putting in a new bathroom. We set an appointment to discuss the estimate at a future date. We would highly recommend John for plumbing needs.
