Most of our neighborhood raved about Antietam Roofing (the spelling is incorrect in the search results). Numerous neighbors told us we needed to call Dennis, he's the best roofer around. He's replaced the roofs of almost this entire area. I set up an appointment for an estimate. He was over two hours late and did not call to let me know he would be late, wasting my whole morning waiting. When he arrived, he explained that he'd take a look at the roof and then write up an estimate. I expected him to return to the house and speak to me for a bit about what needed to be done once he was finished checking it out. But about 15 minutes later, I was wondering how it was going so I looked outside and found that he was already gone. He didn't discuss anything about the type of shingles used, any options for the work that needed to be done or what I wanted to do with the skylight. I got a handwritten estimate in the mail about 7-10 days later, with just a simple explanation, not itemized, and a price. No details about materials being used or specifics about the work being done. I was really disappointed because all the neighbors raved about his work. We heard so many glowing reviews about the work being done, but I was very turned off by his lack of professionalism and can't help but wonder how the actual job must go if that's the first impression he's giving.

The only thing they could have done better was that some of the roofing tacks were still on the ground and they could have maybe cleaned up a little bit better. But basically there was no problem and they were very pleasant to work with. Their pricing was very reasonable. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.
