Description of Work: We had a number of small projects: new doorknobs, a stained ceiling tile, broken bathroom fan, overhead lights. Bruce was our handyman and he did an awesome job on every project. The kitchen light had a hook that we didn't need: he removed it and patched the ceiling nicely. He was courteous, friendly, and incredibly professional. We'll be using him again for hardwood floors, painting, and installing a fence.

Description of Work: The owner was very professional and really wanted to please us. However, the workers were incompetent and actually tried to cheat us out of money. They were supposed to install one type of gutter guards and instead installed a cheaper product. The gutter guards were not installed correctly and the workers told the owner that the could be installed either way, which was not true. The owner believed what the workers told him. He wanted to rectify the situation, however, we did not want those workers to return to our property.

Description of Work: We needed our front porch re-done (Concrete) due to years of water cracking the original porch. They came in and gave us an estimate for thw work. We looked at 2 other estimates and decided on this company.

+ 4 moreThe iRemodelMyHome team was professional, good about communicating and following-up, and delivered on all agreed tasks (and more). After the initial consultation I received an estimate by email very quickly afterwards. Work started shortly afterwards and proceeded over a few days variously allowing for weather and drying times. I was especially pleased with how the three eyesores of the rotten post, cracked porch and missing stormdoor were remedied. The crack was much deeper than initially thought, but Robert took care of it without a problem. Remounting the door made the entryway look much better, I was surprised they could do it. I'm in the process of renting my home and their services were what the house needed -- wish I had done it while I was still living there. Professional, reasonable, and pleasant -- I definitely recommend.
Description of Work: Services performed were a mix of handyman-type items. Repair of a deeply cracked concrete stoop. Repair of a rotten non-load bearing post (bottom was rotten and needed splicing. Storm door re-mounting, mounts had pulled out during a bad storm and would not mount back onto the door jam. Downspouts in two areas were off, needed to be re-attached. Painting of door, concrete stoop, a side entrance area, and some flashing on the entryway.

+ -1 moreDamien was professional, friendly and very capable. I was extremely happy with the cost (which came in lower than my other estimate), the timeliness in reporting to the job site and the time it took to complete the repairs along with the work performed.
Description of Work: Damien and his helper had to take down some of the drywall in my kitchen in order to repair a split joist in the ceiling between the first and second floor. The joist was split so badly that they decided to sister it with two other boards to support the weight. They then had to replace the drywall and spackle. Damien came back after the spackle had dried in order to sand it and ready it for me to paint. I am sure he would have painted it too, had I requested it but I wanted to do that part myself.
