+ -1 moreRenovated a 50 year old bathroom which still had a linoleum floor. Obtained a couple of estimates from local floor covering businesses. We found Nickle Mine Floor Covering based on a friend's recommendation. Stopped in their Quarryville, PA store and their sales person recommended the new Armstrong tiles, which are vinyl, but hard as ceramic. Nickel Mine came out for an estimate and we agreed to have the job done. I had gutted the bathroom beforehand and leveled the floor the best I could. Nickel Mine was prompt with both their estimate and the time we agreed to start the work. Two workers came on installation day. They were careful not to damage anything. They started out by prepping the floor with additional leveling. Then they worked diligently for the rest of the day installing the tiles. Resulting job was beautiful. Tiles were perfect around the edges of the room. It was level everywhere and spacing was perfect too. It is 10 months later now and I am very pleased with this floor. Benefit of this type of floor it that it is not as cold on your feet as a ceramic tile floor. Also pleased with the workmanship and we would use Nickel Mine again.
