Just recently moved into my home. Rob came by the day I called for an estimate. He evaluated my door and opener. The door is in good shape but opener was close to 40 years old! He gave me a very decent price and he came the following week and installed the opener. Would highly recommend Global Discount Door Service!

Used different company several months before. Again, garage door would not open. Global came on a Saturday and told us first company put the wrong springs on the door. Fixed the door temporarily but had to return with the proper springs. Seems to be working fine. We appreciated their weekend rescue.

They inspected the garage doors before installing the automatic door openers and let us know that there were things that needed to be fixed to insure our safety. They repaired the items that made the garage doors that weren't safe and then installed the garage door openers. The job ran long past their normal day and they stayed until the job was completed,explaining to us how to use each piece. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to have garage door openers installed or repaired.

Rob, the owner of Global, was very professional and courteous. He came over exactly when we scheduled to assess our failing garage door. While he was here, he made adjustments to our door and gave us options for a new garage door opener or a repair of our 12 year old existing unit. Replacement was a no brainer and Rob gave us a few options. We decided on a Liftmaster WiFi unit with a backup battery which he installed for us a few days later, accommodating our busy schedule. When Rob and his technician came back for the installation, they were both very professional and clean workers. They replaced our entire opener unit, installed new springs and made adjustments to our door just to make sure it worked perfect. We can not believe how quiet this thing operates now! Our old setup between the door and the opener sounded like a train barreling through. Rob contacted me quickly when looking for replacement garage doors and openers. he scheduled a time to come look at my old doors and answered all my questions and concerns. i do my homework on manufacturers and join forums to ask questions as well. in the end there was no difference between what i found online compared to what Rob had told me. he came on the scheduled date and installed my new doors and openers. all went pretty smooth. he answered all my questions about maintenance. im very happy with my new doors and openers.
