We contacted the company because we had seen their work and also looked at their web site. When they jackhammered out the old cement, they made no effort to cover our pool. There was a great deal of cement that ended up in our pool. The cement color and the stamped design were the ones we chose. However, the finished cement was rough; and as this cement was around the pool where we were walking in our bare feet, it was a huge disappointment. The cement in one area was poured while it was raining and the cement had tiny holes around the edges. The stainless steel handrails on the steps and ladder of our pool were not set nearly as deep as they were original. The handrail on the steps eventually pulled out and had to be repaired. M and B Concrete repaired the handrail with ugly plastic flanges. After the cement work was finished, we filled our pool and began the task of hand picking all of the cement shards out of our pool. This cement was as sharp as knives and our hands were cut when we picked it up. When we filled the pool, we found that it was leaking and had to replace the liner. The swimming pool company that replaced the liner found that there were five holes in the liner. They also stated that because we have the cover on the pool we should have expected the liner to last 20 years but it only lasted 9. When we contacted M and B about the holes in the liner, they just ignored us. After this winter, we noticed many cracks in the concrete. The concrete has raised up about 1 inch in one area. The area that was poured in the rain with all of the tiny air holes has flaked and looks terrible. The area under the rails for cover has cracked and the screws for the cover have pulled out so we can no longer used the cover. We have contacted M and B Services. They do not return our calls or else say they will come to look at the concrete but have yet to show up. The last call they said they will do what needs to be done but we have not heard from them since that call. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The concrete is going to need major repairs. After all of the mess and noise last summer, I am dreading having the concrete repaired. I wish we still had our old, gray, slightly cracked concrete.
