Promptly called back, we were too far away for him to quote but he looked up our address on Google Earth and gave us some ballpark numbers so that we'd have an idea as to what a fair price would be and he was right!!!

Mickey Cook and his professional team of workers arrived promptly at the prearranged time. Minor repairs and surface preparation were completed on the first day of the job. On the second day, the asphalt was delivered, poured, rolled, leveled, and berms were built. I was very impressed with the quality of the machinery that they used and how closely the M&D crew worked as a team. Little time was wasted, and there was a noticeable effort to maintain quality at every step in the process- these guys genuinely know their jobs and take pride in their work. The road is beautifully completed; completely meeting/exceeding our expectations.

Arrived on time, went right to work and completed the project (extensive driveway) in one day. I am very pleased with the results.

Everything listed was done. After about 1 year cracks appeared. A large sink hole appeared and I had to rent a jack hammer, cut out the hole and fill with asphalt. At the end of the second year we had an estimate for having the driveway sealed. The estimator said the asphalt was "very rough." We have sealed it about every two years. When the sealer wears off the driveway looks like reclaimed asphalt was used. I believe that is exactly what was used. Ground up old asphalt with emulsion added as a binder. The surface is rough and small particles of stone pop out regularly. We knew we were screwed because our neighbor had their driveway done (other company) several years before ours and it still looks like new. They only had it sealed about 5 years after paving. I would not recommend M & D to anyone.

The experience was wonderful. They were just very professional. They did everything that we asked at a reasonable price. They were here on time. They showed up when they were supposed to and did what they were supposed to. Everything that they recommended and suggested worked exactly the way they said it would from how they angled it so that the water would move away from the house and things like that, suggestions that they made for the installation. They were here exactly as long as they said they were going to be here. Everything went very well.

Called them numerous times over last summer to seal driveway and never heard back from them - never received as much as a callback to tell me that they weren't interested. I have been told that their ownership has changed. Whatever the reason, I turned to McMillan Sealcoating who responded promptly, came out a few days later and completed a first class, professional sealing.

or M&D Paving Company was one of five asphalt paving companies that I contacted about having my asphalt driveway resurfaced. I had received 4 written estimates for the job (one company did not respond to my calls), and I chose M&D despite the fact that their estimated price was second highest of the group. I was impressed by M&D from the outset, as Micky (the job estimator) sold me not only on this company, but the quality of their work. Each step of the process was thoroughly explained to me, and my questions were answered respectfully. When the crew of 10 workers arrived, and this surprised me- all were dressed in matching company shirts and were exceptionally professional. I did not want to get in their way, so I watched much of the job being done from an upstairs window. The " M&D team of ten" worked together as a well oiled machine, and it was obvious to me, that there was a real sense of pride in their work. Although Micky did not wear the same themed purple shirt of the other workers, he did oversee all of the work being done. When finished, the job site was completely cleaned and Micky explained the guarantee and company recommendations for the long-term care of the driveway. The long and short of this effort- M&D Paving did A+ work for me/us, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who inquires. A great job, M&D, and thank you!!!

I really liked the speed that they did the project. They had to schedule around the weather. They were able to come in and rip the driveway out in six hours. They were professional and the quality of their work was very good.

THE CREW WAS LATE SHOWING UP. THEY DID NOT HAVE ASPHALT TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THE TEAR-OUT WAS A FOOT SHORT ON THE ROADSIDE PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY. ONE YEAR LATER, SMALL SINK HOLES APPEARED IN THE PARKING AREA. SEALER WAS REQUESTED AND NO CALL BACK WAS RECEIVED.

PAVER SHOWED UP UNANNOUNCED. CONFUSION EXISTED BETWEEN QUOTED PRICE & ACTUAL PRICE CHARGED. DID NOT FOLLOW EXACT INSTRUCTIONS-SPECIFICALLY STATED TO NOT SLANT DRIVEWAY TOWARD GARAGE DOOR-DID IT ANYWAY. ALSO WOULD NOT PAVE TO ROAD.
