their service was great! great attention to detail but at the same time quick! they specialize in pianos so they were pros at moving a grand piano. it had rained the day we were moving it and they made sure that the piano was completely covered before stepping out to the weather. they also made sure that i was completely happy with the position of the piano as once set, there was no way i would be able to move it. they weren't the cheapest, I'd say from my research, but there's reasons for that. typical moving companies have insurance by the pound which barely covers for the cost of my bench! this company was insured up to 50k. i am willing to pay a little more so that i have peace of mind with such an investment.

The original contact was by email. I described the size and model of the piano, and the conditions of moving the piano at the origin and destination locations. They gave me an estimate over email and available time slots. If I agreed to the price, they would need complete addresses and contact information for each location. I requested a time slot, which had a two hour window and got a phone call the day before to verify. The day of the delivery 3 workers arrived on time and delivered the piano on time. The piano was in the same condition as when it left the before the pickup. The workers were friendly, cordial, and very professional. My only complaint (and it's minor) was the lack of paperwork that I'm used to when dealing with contractors. There was no signed agreement about what was to be done at what time, for what cost, and what condition the piano was in before it was picked up. I ran with it despite this because of the good reviews I've read on this company. I was not disappointed but still a little nervous.

Outstanding. Highly professional. these guys really knew their stuff. they got in and out quickly , and most of all safely and were very careful not to damage anything. they were so polite , courtesous , and great at what they did. i could not imagine any way to improve on this service. i like that they are a family business, that shows in every contact, from scheduling to delivery. I would highly recommend.

I never had to worry about the safety for the piano, my house, or the movers themselves. Hire them when you need your piano moved.

They contacted both us and the seller the night before the move and gave us a 2 hour window for delivery. They arrived right on time and had the piano to our home a little while later. They were courteous and professional. They placed the piano exactly where we wanted it. While they were at the house, we asked them for an estimate to move another heavy item for us. They will be returning next week for that item.

Kevin Duffy and his assistant were courteous and professional at both ends of the move. We had previously scheduled for an earlier date, but decided to postponed due to a winter storm. Duffy Movers easily accommodated this change of plan.

I had to move a Treadmill (weighing over 300 lbs) upstairs to 3rd floor (3 flight of stairs). I called Duffy Piano Movers based on Angie's List reviews and guess what I was not at all disappointed. They picked-up the call and we discussed about my requirement and rates and all. The person on phone was courteous and good listener ; we decided the time when they can come and perform the work. As per the schedule two of their guys arrived on time and had a really friendly attitude and a pleasant smile all the time while they were performing the move. They completed the move perfectly and mind you it was difficult due to the narrow space on the stairs and the maneuvering they had to do to get the heavy beast upstairs. Once they left I realized I had to turn the package upside down in order to unpack the treadmill from the box, but it was way too heavy for me and no way I would have been able to do it myself, so I called them again to come back and do the needful , they did pick up the call and willingly came back to do that for me without any complaint. They brought a piano from a church 6 miles from our home and into our living room. I originally understood that the would pick up the piano at the noontime hour, but got a message that they would come at 3. I called to say that I much rather do the hour they first said, and they changed their schedule around to stick to the noontime hour, which I appreciated. They were very careful with the instrument and used lots of padding.

I can't say enough nice about Kevin Duffy Piano Movers. My 7-foot concert Mason and Hamlin grand piano weighs about 1 ton. It's huge and heavy, and every time I've had to move it in my life, I can barely watch the experience-- it scares me to death! These guys were hands down the BEST movers I've ever worked with. They knew exactly what they were doing. They treated my piano with the utmost care. They were respectful of my home. They were kind to me and complimentary of my instrument. I absolutely loved using thing company and, if I ever need to move my piano in the future, will use them again in a heartbeat.

It went very well. The driver asked for instructions on how to get to the next delivery home, and since I was going there myself, he followed me. No hitches in the process.

Excellent service all around! From start to finish, we were very impressed with Duffy Piano Movers and would definitely recommend them. We received a response to our initial inquiry almost immediately, and a very reasonable price to move a standard size piano from my parents' house to our new house. The movers kindly called us 30 minutes before they arrived, and completed the move easily and without any problems. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. Everything went perfectly and we were very pleased with the service!

They put blankets on my steps and pushed the piano up the stairs so they wouldn't damage the floor or my piano. They were fabulous.

Excellent. The Duffy movers were really good. Very nice and very respectful. They took care to not damage anything. They were incredibly efficient and the job was handled professionally and very quickly. They gave me an estimated time they would arrive and they were right on time. They worked so quickly and they are obviously experts at this. They gave me an estimated price and then actually charged me a few dollars less!! Who ever heard of that?

They were amazing. To start, their quote was half the price of most of their competitors -- a third the price of some! They were extremely professional and took excellent care of the piano. They were also very knowledgeable about pianos generally, and even gave us a tip on how to fix a leg of the piano that had been broken a few years earlier.

Duffy Piano Movers moved our upright piano from our in-law's home to storage 6 months ago. In December, we received a friendly reminder that they still had our piano, at which time we scheduled it to be moved to its new location (our home). We were called the night before to give us the delivery window, and the next day the movers arrived on time. They were very courteous and moved the piano into the home without disturbing a thing (no bumping into doors or our banister). We also received a few months of storage free of cost, which was very kind! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is planning on moving a piano - they are true professionals.

Duffy's people are well represented, clean, neet and respectful. They are in and out without damage, quietly and quickly. It doesn't get any better than that!

I contacted them over email and found them VERY easy to work with. From begin to end, they were amiable, professional, quick, and expert. The seller of the piano had the piano moved by regular furniture movers, and the legs weren't properly attached; neither was the lid. Duffy exercised extreme care in working in my house and demonstrated and quot;going the extra mileand quot; in moving my furniture and carpet to ensure the piano was in exactly the right spot and set up properly. One of the best firms I've worked with. Getting the piano into my house was a bit tricky, since I have a dry slate walkway, but they had the right equipment on hand to move over that surface.

When we needed to move our valuable 1903 Steinway B (7 foot) Grand piano from the first floor of a large single family home in the suburbs to the 2nd floor of a Philadelphia row home, choosing an experienced, professional piano mover was a must. We knew of Duffy piano movers by reputation and they met and exceeded all our expectations. The easy stuff like arranging for the job and communication were no problem. The actual piano move itself was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. They arrived on time to pickup the piano from our suburban home, assessed the logistics and within about 45 minutes the piano was disassembled for moving, carefully wrapped and moved across the street into the truck. The move into the Philadelphia house was far more complicated with the piano being moved up a set of somewhat narrow stairs into a second floor room that required a leftward jog at the top of the stairs to get into the room. Six movers arrived on time and, after evaluating the logistics, quickly began moving the piano from the truck into the house. With one man directing the process, they slowly guided the wrapped piano off of the dolly at the foot of the stairs until it was laying fully on the stairs. Then, employing a process that they had performed many times before, they eased the piano up the stairs, one step at a time until they reached the top landing. It was impressive watching them haul an 800 pound valuable instrument at a 45 degree angle up a long staircase. With only inches to spare, they eased the instrument slowly leftward and guided it into the room and finished the move up with the same ease and attention to detail that they exhibited at the start. All in all, they were professional and skilled in every way and I highly recommend them for anyone needing to move their valuable instrument for any move, from the simple to the most complex.

Overall, this was an excellent experience. Received a call the day before confirming their expected arrival time. On the actual moving day, the crew arrived within the two hour window time frame. They were very efficient; had my piano out of my house and on the truck within 10 minutes. At the storage site, the crew assisted me moving items around to make room for the piano. I highly recommend this company.

We have a grand piano that need to be move to out new house. They communicate really well when to be at our new house.When they arrived, I was watching how they move a piano. It was amazing how they move a piano. I would say it was work of art. Great team work. My house does not have easy configuration for them to move piano; has several steps. They did, I would say, amazing job. After they set up the piano. They explained all the detail how to maintain a piano. The most impressive!!. I would use them all the time, I will tell my friends all about it. My wife loves it. Thank you guys!
