We contracted with NES in July 2014 and had the system installed in October and November of 2014. There were some issues with the financing company, but we worked with them to be sure they were paid for the work. The project work is messy as a rule, simply because they need to drill wells to tap into the Geothermal heat of the earth. I am not concerned with their workmanship and quality of the product they sell. My concern is with their ability to follow up on their commitments. After the system was installed, we found the house was dryer than before. As part of our final payment, we paid for a whole house humidifier. At first, they claimed they were too busy with other installations and hadn't been able to return to our property to complete the installation of the humidifier... by summer of 2015, we were not getting any responses. I'm not sure what happened to the company, but I hope nobody else loses money on this company. Be very aware and proactive before doing business with them. We are out $500 and have no idea if or how we will get our money back. Unfortunately, it's just not worth our time or money to try and go after them for it.

MUCH less than before.Overall, the project went well Drilling rig problems delayed the start of the project. Rerouting the ductwork to join the two ductwork systems was harder than expected since walls did not line up well. Also, there had been some really dumb errors in the original design of the duct system when the house was originally built in 1985. These were corrected at no additional cost to me. The new system did not save me as much as I had anticipated. However, I am MUCH more comfortable. During summer, the Air conditioning is much less expensive to operate. In winter, it is much more expensive to operate than is summer. However, It is cheaper to operate than the old system was in winter, because I use "auxilliary heat (electric glow wires) much less than before. I selected this company because they were well drillers first. This was importnt to me because I also have ell water, and I did not want the new wells to mess up my existing water table. That worked. Overall, I am p[leased with this project......

If you just want the highlights of our experience: - NES designed and installed a great geothermal heat system for our home - the cost they quoted us was slightly higher than competitors, but it was clearly a better designed system and worth the money - everyone from the owner to each employee who came into our home was extremely friendly and considerate - they tried to keep open lines of communication, although sometimes we were unsure of when/if workers would be arriving for the day - we would highly recommend NES If you want the details: We got three estimates for the installation of a geothermal heat pump, including an upgrade to the duct work system that was currently being used for the central air. NES came in several thousand dollars higher than the other two estimates, but we felt like the system they designed was clearly better and would result in a more even heat for our house. Their payment schedule was fair and clearly spelled out in the contract that we signed before work began. Drew, the owner, met with us several times to answer any questions and to give us details of their proposed plan before we signed a contract with them. He is very personable and easy to work with. Several different teams of workers had to be coordinated to complete the project (one to install vents, one to install duct work, one to drill). All were extremely friendly and we felt comfortable having them in our home. The actual process took about four weeks from start to finish, which was a bit longer than the estimate we'd been provided with before work began. We had one contact person (Drew, the owner) to answer any questions during the process. He is always easy to contact via his cell phone, although he does not always promptly answer e-mails. They seemed to figure out their work schedule for each day the evening before, so we sometimes didn't know when/if workers would be arriving at our house until the last minute. We have had one small problem with the system since it began running about three weeks ago. Because we have the owner's cell number and can contact him at any time, it was quickly and easily resolved. Overall, we were extremely happy with both the process of working with NES and with the end result.

My 2 story, 20 year old house was built utilizing two separate heat pump systems. I was never really satisfied with the service they provided, but I couldn't justify replacing them until the died. They were very expensive to maintain and needed maintenance frequently. I called several companies that provided heat pump systems, both air to air and geothermal and got estimates from several. I ultimately selected Natural Energy Solutions ecause they seemed to have the best mix of product and expertise to address my issues. I wanted to replace the two units with one, bigger unit. I wanted a "bumper to bumper", parts and labor, 10 year warrantee. I have well water, and I didn't want the installation of the ground source piping to interfere with ny water supply in any way. I checked 3 references, and went to visit one of them, where extensive reducting was requirred. I was thoroughly impressed with the design and installation. While the installation took longer than expected, that is not surprising on a project of this scope. I am thoroughly pleaesed with the result. The workers were thourough and hard working. They were VERY careful not to create uncontrolled dirt and they cleaned up after themselves very well.
