Description of Work: 4 Hours of General Contracting Services

Description of Work: I called the provider to set up a time for the service. I spoke with Ron, who was very pleasant but informed me that they were not able to honor the coupon from Angie's List due to major staff reductions. He recommended that I get a refund.

Description of Work: I tried numerous times to schedule the service and when I entered the requested dates upon placing the order, they failed to respond. After several tries I received an e-mail asking me to call him, which I did but was constantly receiving a recording that there was no Voice Mailbox set up so I had no way to get through to this company. I sent him another e-mail telling him that I could not reach him, which he did not respond to. I tried to call again and was finally able to leave a voice mail, but that was several weeks ago and I still have not received a call back. This company is obviously not interested in honoring my purchase.

Description of Work: Gutted bathroom down to the studs and installed new window, drywall, toilet, shower, vanity, sink, granite countertop, and flooring . Rewired and replumbed bathroom. This house had no functional bathroom when I bought it. Premier Renovators was able to install the bathroom before we moved in.

Description of Work: Gutted and replaced kitchen. Removed load bearing wall to expand and open up kitchen and floorplan. Premier Renovators gutted and renovated my kitchen with new maple cabinets and a center island. Removing the load bearing wall to open up the space was their suggestion, and it made a huge differencee. I had assumed on my limited budget that I wouldn't be able to afford granite countertops, but I was thrilled to see that was included in the price too. This house was a distressed foreclosed property, so both the bathroom and kitchen needed to be gutted and redone, while I lived in the home, in the basement. They built a temporary kitchen in the basement (I called it a cowboy kitchen) until the remodeling was done upstairs.

Description of Work: This latest project was more of a miscellaneous list of all the things that I hadn't gotten done yet, things that drove me crazy but my husband hadn't gotten around to doing. I'll write other reviews on the larger projects that they did already. No job has been too big or too small. This latest project included: Installing bamboo flooring on my steps (had to remove and relevel each tread since nothing is level in this house) Installing baseboard and trim in family room and laundry room Fixing holes in the family room wall (that I've hidden with furniture or the TV for 2+years) Reattaching and anchoring the deck stairs and railings so its safe for my toddler Installing door thresholds to cover the gaps between the hall bamboo flooring and the bedroom laminate (had to remove 3 bedroom doors and cut them down to fit) I've never written reviews on Angie's list before, but Angie's is offering a gift card for reviews on my doctors and while I am at it, I saw my contractor on the list to review too. I joined Angie's list to find a dermatologist a few months ago and am tempted by all the "deals" they email me. The deals remind me of all the things I want done, and this is my go-to contractor. I'm one of those people that once I find a good contractor, I use them for everything (I had an old run-down farm before this). I've used Premier Renovators for many jobs in the past several years, since I bought a foreclosed home with broken pipes. This home was not built well or maintained well, but it was affordable with a big yard. It needed everything.
