We've used Russo Plumbing for a handful of jobs around the house. The first was to replace a garbage disposal. The price was competitive and the job was done to our satisfaction. So when our first floor bathroom toilet began leaking into the basement, we called them out. They had to do a pretty extensive repair/replacement of a pipe to correct the problem. I was pleased with the price and the speed with which they completed the job. The most recent visit, however, left me disappointed. My wife had called them out to take a look at our master shower and toilet, both of which were leaking. The shower down onto the ceiling on the lower level, and the toilet from an unknown location that just left a puddle on the floor. They were pretty responsive and came out to the house in a timely manner. The toilet needed tightening, but wouldn't require the seal to be replaced or anything else complicated. The shower, thankfully, appeared to only need a gasket replaced. They did not have the part and weren't able to locate one at the local home improvement store, so they told my wife they would have to order the part and would contact her once it was in to schedule a time to come back and install it. She asked what it would cost to come back and replace the part and was told that we'd be charged again for a house call. It would seem to me that they would be coming back to finish a job, so I'm not sure why we'd be charged for another house call. Had the part been available the same day, we would only have incurred any additional labor I would think. So we paid roughly $150 to tighten a toilet (which I'm ok with) and then it would be another roughly $150 to finish the job and install a gasket that couldn't be more than $10. Not only that, but it's 4 weeks later, and we still haven't gotten a call back about the part being in. We've since called another plumber to come look at the issue that wouldn't charge us to come out to the house and provide an estimate before any work is done. Given all the positive reviews and our first couple of experiences with them, I'm sure this was just a miss on their part, but I don't think we will hire them again.

Excellent, I told them that I would be home all day and they showed much earlier than expected which was great. Fixed everything quickly and had a very fair price.

The toilet was fixed in less than five minutes and the water pressure issue was resolved very quickly. I appreciated that the work was done by someone who knew what he was doing and I didn't have to worry about the quality of work.

They have come out a couple of times. They did a really good job. They were timely, they were professional. I was at work, my wife was here and had to leave early, she felt comfortable enough to leave him here alone, and let him leave when he was done. We don't know him personally, but he had been here before. She felt comfortable enough to leave and tell him to lock up on his way out.

Mike from Russo Plumbing was terrific. He arrived at the scheduled time and completed the required work in a timely fashion. He was very considerate of our home.

The plumber came the same day I called for service. He was professional and got the job done quickly. The clog was severe and required multiple cuts in the pipes to find, but he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly. My kitchen sink now drains better than it ever has in the 8 years I have lived in my home. I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job...the deep sink made installing the existing disposal awkward...these guys made it look easy, and the finished install was perfect!

I've used them a few times actually. They did a chunk of work while they were out here. I think it's like $60 or $70 an hour. The guy Scott who I worked with when I called, he was extremely helpful. My sink was leaking. The day that I called, he recommended that I send him a video and picture before they came out to make sure they had the parts. He actually recommended me to call the manufacturer of the sink to send me the parts for free, which I did. I only had to pay for the labor. They helped me save time and money. They're extremely helpful and super sweet. I would recommend them. I recommended them to my neighbors. They're always extremely courteous. They would go and put booties on if they're going into your house. They're just very respectful. They're awesome, they're my go to people now. They're not gaugers, they are very reasonable. Also they have very flexible scheduling. When I called them with my problem, they were out in a few days even if it was the weekend they would get out first thing Monday. What they did, which I really appreciated was that they called me when they were a half hour out to let me know that they were going to be on time. They gave me an estimation of like a time, and whoever the service guy on call, they would call you when they are like a half hour away. They've done that every time they come out. I think they'e efficient, effective. I think they're knowledgeable about plumbing and every issue. They're proactive. They kind of walked me through the process of calling the manufacturer, which was really nice. They saved me $40-$50. by calling the manufacturer and getting the part from them, versus somebody else trying to get the part for me.

It all went very well. I would highly recommend them!

They arrived on time and removed the old disposal and installed the new one. They also took the old disposal as opposed to me having to deal with it. They were fast, friendly and the work is quality also at an reasonable price for the disposal and installation.

I contacted the company via their website contact form since my repairs were minor and not an emergency. There was a delayed response due to the office person being out sick, but when I was contacted, the technician, Todd, was very apologetic about the delay and made an attempt to schedule the service appointment for that day. On the day of the appointment (a few days later due to my schedule), Todd called ahead with an estimated arrival time & arrived at that time. He was very professional and worked quickly & efficiently in order to complete both repairs within the 1st hour. Estimated fees were presented to me during the prior call (cost per hour, cost of materials) and on target. This was my first time hiring a professional plumbing company and the experience was top-notch. I will be using Pete Russo Plumbing for all my future plumbing issues.

They came right away to assess the problem. Kevin was great, very thorough and professional. I expected an emergency plumbing call to be expensive but they were extremely reasonable. I would absolutely hire again and will be recommending to anyone who needs a plumber.

I think he excessively charged me. When I initially called them, I asked how much it would be. He said it would cost $100 and it cost $333. Everything was there and all he had to do was attach it. While he was at my house, he went out to his car and was on the phone with someone. He charged me for that. I would never call him again. The work was fine with the dishwasher, but he over charged me. They should have charged me what they said they would. The $333 was outrageous. He did a good job and I would not complain about that. They were here quickly and he seemed to be a nice guy. I would never use them again.

I called this morning and was given a quote over the phone and was given an appointment for the same day. Todd was my service person. He explained what he was doing and we talked about proper maintenance. He was very informative, completed the work in a timely manner. Great service. Very professional

Todd the installer did an excellent job! He called 30 minutes prior to arrival, arrived on time, and explained everything that was to be done. He also provided tips along the way: for example, I had previously insulation-wrapped all hot and cold water piping runs in the basement. Todd discouraged wrapping pipes from the exterior wall back to the shutoff valve to allow these sections to adapt to the basement temperature and not stay cold and subject to a freeze. Good idea! This job was completed efficiently and thoroughly -- we are very pleased with the work. I've supplied some photos.
