Please know not to use New Age Air for your heating and A/C needs. We have used this company since 2009 and they were a good small company then. We have watched them grow from a small company to a bigger local company and adapt the bigger company mentality of upsellling and lack of accountability. We have a less than 2 year old Carrier furnace that is having issues and New Age Air won’t work through the diagnosing issue and has walked away from it. They are horrible! They don’t stand behind their work. We would have recommended them many years ago but not now at all. And this is my first ever negative review posted.

New Age Air Big Rip offs: Tech arrived and told me he doesn’t want to be here, he hates people, his last 3 customers argued with him because of his diagnosis. The tech told me the new systems they are installing are low quality and there are more calls coming in on them, than people with older systems. Before tech arrived I installed a run/start capacitor, a connector, a hard start kit and I had the unit open for him He said system is too old, no Freon in it, and not worth fixing. I asked him to put Freon in it and he said $1500.00, he called his boss and told him I don’t want t to buy a new system because im selling the house. He told his boss I want him to put Freon in it. He told me it will be $2000.00 he closed up the unit and went to his truck. And said it is not worth it. I said do it anyway. he came back and said the compressor is shot, there is nothing he can do. He said put window air conditioners in to sell my house, or contact sales if I want a new system. I asked about a new compressor. He said he will send me an estimate. He had me sign his tablet that he showed up and he is giving me and estimate on a new compressor. He sent me 3 emails and he left. 1st email was a receipt for the $149.00 I paid for him to come out 2nd invoice was an estimate of $2000.00 to put Freon in my system (Why)? 3rd was for an invoice for $3000 to for a new compressor which will include Freon I called the office and I told them I had a complaint but I can’t have harassment from their employee. I explained to her 5 years of harassment from an individual came to an end on Sunday, so I cant go through any more drama. He assured me no drama will take place. She said she will forward my voice recording to the manager and he will cal me back. This was last Thursday. By Monday, No calls, It has been over 90 degrees in my house for over a week. My old cat couldn’t handle the heat anymore and died Monday morning. I called New Age Air, As soon as I said my name she hung up the phone. She called back and apologized. She said someone will call me Tuesday afternoon. I told her Ive been waiting for repair for 5 days. It is 92 degrees in my house and and my cat is is dead. I told her I want a call back today. I got a call back and he said he will send another tech out. I had the unit open for him when he got there. He said there was Freon in my system and it isn’t shot but the copresser is stuck. He removed the hard start kit I had installed and he said he didn’t like that kind. Im familiar with the 521 kits but the local place didn’t have one. The tech said he has one on his truck and I can have it for $400. If it don’t work. I still owe the $400. I declined because they run $31,00 online. I ordered it myself and the compressor started running. Wow. What did I call these guys for? 10 days of 90 + degrees in my house’ a dead cat and it cost me $149.00. As soon as the 2nd technician left I got a telephone call and 2 text messages from the first tech that came out last thursday, he wants to talk to me about what I said to his boss. Are you kidding me? I blocked him and I called New Age Air and the secretary told me she will forward the message. It has been over a week and I have not heard from them. Get better help. Dealing with this company is a night mare. They give bad advice, price gouge on Freon and parts, not interested in fixing older systems and if you have a problem with their methods, the techs call your personal phone to put you straight. Beware of this company. The review asks you to pick a tech. Jon and Jack were not listed so I picked one they supplied.

I hired him to change my heating from gas to electric with a ac unit and I was told he put two different units in and was not working the way it should been so I had to get a new unit and before I called his three yrs ago and gave him phone calls and was told a lot of bullish t and the I question him about if they had seen my bag of jewelry because that went missing too had to file a police report so I wouldn’t deal with him I waited 5,000 dollars for nothing I had to get someone else to do a better job what a waste of time and money

The service call went well. The technician found some parts on the A/C that were looking sketchy. He showed me the parts from the machine and explained why the parts might be getting ready fail. The A/C system is about 15 years old and we want to keep it running for as long as possible. The service technician was polite and knew what he was doing. We signed up for one of their yearly plans that is basically pay as you go, so the real expense, in this case, was the parts, but the machine is running well so it was worth it. We are planning on scheduling an appointment for our heater tune-up shortly

My oil furnace failed during the winter and I needed a quick solution to restore heat to my home. NewAge was very responsive and had a reasonable approach for solving my immediate and longer term HVAC issues, including poor air flow to my 2nd story. The team completed the work in record time with amazing results. Not only did they restore my heat in one day (massive amount of work) and were able to come back and adjust the multi-zoning to ensure the air flow in my house is correct. This is the first summer that I've had in my house that has been comfortable and cool on my second story. The new system has worked perfectly and I am very pleased with the work. One other note - I also hired NewAge to clean out my ducts. They methodically cleaned out every vent and then the central trunks - all sorts of junk was pulled out, all of which was impeding air flow. I highly recommend this service from NewAge.

Prompt response and repair. Warranty expired a week later so we were lucky to get the repair at no cost.

Very knowledgeable about their field. Provided great information on the current state of my system in the house and things to keep track of. I have used New Age Air in a previous home to install central A/C and Heat and they did an incredible job. Continuing to use them for my new home.

I will no longer use New Age since I feel like they tried to take advantage of me when my boiler was broken (which they installed) and in the middle of a tough winter. They did not show loyalty to an existing client. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about using them to get additional quotes before agreeing to any services.

We called them to get a quote and they never came out. I was pretty disappointed in that.

They were a bit higher than competing bids, but had obviously done the homework when calculating BTU load to size the units. They showed up on time, the workmanship and install were very neatly done and they were very professional and patient about explaining the operation of the system to my poor wife who doesn't have a technical bone in her body. But they hung in there and she showed me how to operate the system when I got back home. We'll see how the follow up service goes, but I'm hoping it goes as well as the install and I'll be happy to use them in the future.

They are always on time. They are very professional and they do quality work.

The price was higher then two other quotes but i liked the company more. They also offered a free water heater and home surge protector and 1 year of maintenance and a remote for the unit. They complete the work in about 10-12 hours. We got a middle range furnace and AC unit. One nice feature i like about the unit is that the fan will turn on a couple times every hour to keep air moving.

They quote was very thorough. They spent adequate time putting together the quote and discussing it with me. I was very appreciative of them. Their level of professionalism was extremely high, they were very knowledgable. I am considering them for the service.

18-year old original furnace started functioning erratically. While waiting on a quote from another Angie's list A-rated contractor visited the Suburban Home Show at Oaks, PA and agreed to estimates from two additional Angie's list A-rated contractors.. New Age came out to size and produced an estimate the next day. They were competitively priced but Carrier was also offering 0% financing at the time which which made the estimate even more attractive. Their team of as many as four folks during the course of the installation completed the work in less than a day including cleanup and removal of old units.

It's difficult to put into words just how great this experience was. We were replacing our central air conditioner (split system) and got four estimates. From the estimate process it was clear New Age was going to earn our business. They spent over an hour with us doing the heat loss calc, reviewing our system, explaining the pros/cons with different options, etc. They were tremendous! Every other estimate we received consisted of a 5-10 minute once-over and an email later that week with a price. New age gave us a price on-site and also followed up with the most thorough email with every bit of detail on what they were doing. The installation went off without a hitch. They put plastic/drop cloths down for the entire run of where they walked. They were clean, pleasant, thorough, etc. They made it a point to explain different things they were doing to help the system run more efficiently. This is an industry where many people can get taken advantage of. In addition, it's a job where the installation is the most important factor (more important than the brand/unit you decide to purchase). It's a big investment and one that should last many years. I have no doubt we are now in good hands and look forward to using Newage for all our service related needs. They are by far the best HVAC vendor I have ever dealt with. The installation was flawless.

Had a A/C unit installed about 4 years ago and we have a maintenance package that we purchased. He have been very happy with them and no problems. Very thorough. Price was very competitive.

The actual work was done quickly and cleanly, although initial response time was a bit slow. Overall, I would use New Age again.

My furnace stopped working on a Sunday night with outside temperatures well below zero. I do not have a service contract for the furnace so I started calling around to different companies to get someone to come out. New Age Air was my first call. The person I spoke with took a lot of time and effort to help fix my problem over the phone. He diagnosed a faulty blower motor. He walked me through a few steps and actually got it working again temporarily. He did not have the needed part in stock and it would have taken a couple days to get it so I ended up going with another company who did have the part. I was very impressed with the time and effort he took to help me.
