Responsive, arrived when scheduled. Quality work cleaning up the breaker panels (actually more was done than requested). Was unable to solve the microwave tripping but upgraded outlet to a GFCI. Eventually got the automatic timer working after a lot of experimenting. It was a difficult wiring job for a layman but expected it to be straightforward to a pro. Replaced generator battery and cranked once but ended up needing full overhaul. Overall he delivered best result that could be expected but took much longer and ran up much larger bill than expected. He did trim somewhat after discussing (cost listed is reduced amount). Based on this experience I did not hire the firm for a generator install, where his pricing was not competitive. I heard later that he lodged an unwarranted complaint with the generator dealer about the contractor that I did award the job to, unprofessional behavior in my view.
Description of Work: Several small residential electrical jobs - fix a tripping microwave outlet, fix a couple double-tapped breakers, install an automatic timer switch on outdoor light circuit, repair an old emergency generator.
