Rich returned our call promptly and arrive on time for the appointment. We discussed several options to address the problem of the bathtub leaking down and damaging the kitchen ceiling. He was supposed to write up an estimate and mail it to us...we never heard from him. We felt that if he wasn't interested in the job, he should have said so.

We loved everything about them. If we had another home project to do which we will in the future, we would easily hire them. First of all they showed up on time, whenever they said they would be here. They cleaned up every day. Things that were going to change along the project from what we thought it would be, they would talk to us about it before hand and gave us our best options. Initially I thought the price was high but now that I see the kind of work they do it was well worth the money.

Rich easily made recommendations based on what we wanted, and the price was very affordable. No more maintenance worries. Without a doubt, we will inquire with Ambassador Homes again for future projects.

I purchased my home from the first owner (who had it built through Ambassador Homes). We've been in the home around 6 months and have noted how well built the house is. We decided to install a standby generator due to regional power problems. However, where the generator is going is right by the septic tanks. Since the generator is rather large, a bobcat will be required to put it in place. We were very concerned about the route the bobcat would take due to our septic tanks (as well as our propane tanks). I called Ambassador Homes to try and get some additional information on dimensions of the tanks so that we could give our contractor a safe route to take without risking the tanks. Rich Dougherty from Ambassador was kind enough to stop by the same day I called to give us a walk through of the properties so we could see where the tanks started/stopped. I was very impressed with the service, even though we were not his original customers.

On my home renovation, Mr. Dougherty worked very cooperatively with my architect. His estimate was clear. He documented any changes I requested. He came almost every day to monitor progress. The people he had work on the project were folks I could leave in my home during the day even when I wasn't here. Work was done in a timely fashion. Mr. Dougherty stayed with all of the participants to be sure there work was done on time and in keeping with the plan. There were a couple of things that needed attention several years after the project was done. This, of course, is not unexpected. Mr. Dougherty took care of them without question or any cost to me. The other two projects were carried out with the same professionalism. The work site was left clean every day. All workers were respectful of the other parts of my house. Mr. Dougherty responded to emails within 24 hours. I would recommend Ambassador homes to anyone doing a home renovation, large or small, and anyone building a new home.
