The painter was a very nice super person and I would highly recommend them. Their cost was very fair, I was a painter myself, but his cost was very fair and the job was just excellent. They did very well and then cleaned up everything.

I contacted Dennis through the information provided on Angie's List. We agreed upon a day and time he would come and look at the job. On the morning of the day he was to come he called and said he was running behind schedule. He offered to reschedule to another day or if it was ok he would come later than the time agreed upon. I appreciated the phone call, When he arrived I showed him the area that I still needed to be painted and the room I wanted to have crown molding installed, I was also wanting to redo or spruce up my hardwood floors but since I was on a strict budget, I would like and estimate for the priority job of the crown molding and painting and then also an estimate for the hardwood floors. He said he would get back to me . He called back about a week later with an estimate for the job including the floors. I was not able to afford that so asked for the estimate without the floors. He called back about a week after that with an estimate for the job. We agreed on the price. He also was upfront that he had some jobs ahead of me and could not guarantee that it could be done before Thanksgiving which is what my goal was to have the work finished. He said he would try but there was no guarantee. He called early November to say he had some free time and could come and at least get the painting done. He showed when he said he would and the painting was done well. The following week he called and said that the job he was currently working on, he was waiting on some supplies and would be able to come and do the crown molding. Again he showed up and the job was completed. I am pleased with the end result. Dennis did an excellent job in a timely manner.

He did a wonderful job. He was helpful and polite. He was always on time.

We had several jobs to be done. Dennis was courteous, professional and prompt. He worked on the jobs over a few days in between the work being done on another job. He was prompt even though he was hampered by the rain. He built the gates for the front and back deck by hand and installed them. He removed a wooden folding door and installed a mirrored siding door on the hall closet. He removed the old air conditioner in the wall and had to build a frame in order to install the new unit. He replaced the board under the sink which had become warped due to a leak. We intend to call him for several other projects we have planned for a future date as he is reliable and does an excellent job at a reasonable price.

Overall it was a good experience. I called for an estimate and when the owner was in the area he came by to look at the work that needed to be done. I requested an estimate for repairing and painting the walls in the den and having the guest bathroom redone. I needed the den painted within the next few weeks, since I was expecting new furniture to be delivered within the next five to six weeks. Despite the fact that he was busy on other jobs, he indicated he would fit painting the den into the schedule and the bathroom would be scheduled at another time. Once he called with the estimate, and I agreed to go with BBI because the price was reasonable a date was set for repair and painting. They showed up early on Tuesday morning to begin the work and completed it in two days. All the screws that were coming out of the ceiling and walls were repaired. The line between the two colors on the wall are straight and the den looks great. I intend to us BBI for other repairs in the house because of the good work, professionalism, courtesy and reasonable price.

His price was fair, work was excellent and he was very caring.

I hired BBI Home improvements to frame a new deck of approx 550sq ft. This included putting in the footers. Dennis said it would take about a week and the work was done on time. He was very professional and took the time to make sure every detail was done correctly. I was very pleased with his workmanship and would highly recommend him. The top decking and railing is to be completed by me. RM

I had several estimates on this work. Dennis was willing to work with my individual design ideas, unlike others, and understood the need to maintain the character of the house. The only extras above the original estimate involved additional items that I added. The planning and ordering of materials were done ahead so that once the work started -- on time -- it was completed quickly.

Date for the required work. I have worked with Dennis before and knew the price was reasonable. Within two days he was back to me with the quote. Although he had other jobs also, he fit me into his working schedule so that I would not have to wait too long. He did the work over four days (including the wallpaper and power cleaning of the deck. All in all the work was completed in ten days. I am considering him for other jobs now.
