Applause for Tom Thomas!! He is awesome, his work it tops, he has the patience of a saint, and knows how to work effectively with the water company. The last point was amazing to watch. He never lost his cool throughout a very frustrating situation that came along at the same time as the arrival of COVID19. I would confidently recomment his plumbing services to to everyone. He also teaches the next generation of folks studying to become plumbers, so you know we have a good future ahead.

Thursdays I take out the garbage and check on the furnace. I’m a creature of habit. I drain a little water out of the furnace and turn the gauge to add water up to the line. But it will not shut off. I’m WAY over the line. I run to my main and shut my water off there. It’s after hours, so I paged Tom Thomas. They responded quickly, but couldn’t make it out until the morning. So they walked me through a little troubleshooting over the phone. After checking a few things, the responding plumber asked, “is the handle to the shut off parallel or perpendicular to the pipe right now?” I told him it was parallel. A bit of silence, then he calmly and respectfully said, “ok, ma’am, your valve is fully open right now. I’m just going to need you to turn that to perpendicular, then slowly turn your main back on.” I apologized and told him how silly I felt, and thanked him not for laughing (not while he was on the phone with me at least). He said, “I’m happy to save you money and me a trip.” I promised I’d write a resounding review of their professionalism even in the face of my Lucille Ball-level flightiness. This is my first of many. Thanks, guys! I look forward to calling you for an actual issue one day!

Great!!! Tom and Niles came out within a couple days to replace the valves, service the heating system and to check the stack. They determined the stack had to be replaced. Even though they were booked with jobs and personal vacations, They came out a couple days later and had it fixed in a couple hours. They took care to only take out the portion of wall needed to replace the stack. Even though it was tight, nothing else was damaged and the rest of the waste drain was good enough to not need replacing. They made sure to secure everything before making the first cut. The valves and heating system service was around $130 and the stack and toilet filler was $320. Very reasonable and very considerate. These guys will do a professional job and won't gouge you on the cost. They'll be back to replace the water heater before winter and I'll hire them for ANY of my plumbing or heating issues.

We had a very good experience with Tom Thomas. When we first had our problem with the old unit, constantly running and leaking water, it happened on a weekend. Our call was answered promptly and he talked us through bypassing the unit so we wouldn't have to pay for a weekend service call. Tom diagnosed the problem and spent time on the phone with the manufacturer to find the parts we would need for the old unit. When we decided to replace it instead, he showed up on time, did a professional installation job, and cleaned up everything when he left. We got a call a day or so later checking up on the work to make sure we were still satisfied.

I had just bought a house and discovered I couldn't get the shower head to work in the bathroom. Water came out of the tub faucet and mixed well with the control knob. It's just I couldn't find they way to divert the water from the tub faucet to the shower head. I assumed it was like many shower controls where, once the temperature was adjusted, you either pulled the control knob out or tilted it. There was no diverter knob on the top of the tub faucet either. The gentleman who took my call patiently asked if I had a Delta set up in my shower. I wasn't sure and I wasn't at the house to check. He said that Delta has a unique way of diverting the water from the tub faucet to the shower head. It is a spring loaded ring the encircles the faucet opening and you can't really see it unless you know it's there. I had never encountered this set up before and he said that Delta is the only one to use it and it's not on their entire line, just select products. He even sent pictures to ensure I knew exactly what he was talking about. This solved the problem as that's what it was - lack of knowledge on my part in the function of this particular shower control set. They could have easily set up an appointment, come out to the house, looked at the issue and then pulled out the ring. I would have been justifiably been charged for the site visit while he pointed out I needed to only pull out this ring. I can't say enough about his integrity and patience in explaining the workings of the unit I had. It's honesty and knowledge like this that will make me a loyal customer and I will only call on Tom Thomas Plumbing for any of my future plumbing issues or needs.

Emergency visit. Called Tom at 6:50 a.m. and by 3:00 p.m. the same day, we had a new hot water heater installed and the old one carted off. Tom was very helpful informing us of the choices that we had. Great service and no messes left behind.

It all went very well, he was professional and obviously knew his stuff.

Mr. Thomas went out of his way to provide service on the day that I spoke with him. He and his assistant Niles went to work quickly and resolved the leak with quality parts and their knowledge of plumbing. I will absolutely call Tom Thomas for any plumbing & heating issues my property may require.

I called Mr. Thomas in the evening of 7/22/15 and he was able to fit me into his schedule the next day. He was very professional and courteous while explaining the problem and the repair needed. Mr. Thomas and his assistant were able to repair the problem for me promptly. He also showed me a few areas that could become issues in the future and explained what I should do to prevent other leaks and problems in the water lines in the basement. Some of the work appears to have been done by the prior owners themselves, but could breakdown over time. I was very pleased that he fit me into his schedule so quickly, called to keep me updated on his arrival time, and fixed my leak at a very reasonable cost. I plan to definitely use Tom Thomas Plumbling again.

Very well Called them late one evening showed up in morning. Fix the problem quickly and haven't had a problem since.

He was very timely and professional and so were his assistants. Very respectful of my property. I like the fact that he likes dogs because I have 2 very intimidating dogs that liked him a lot. I was very happy with the service overall, came in got straight to work and didn't leave until the job was completely done. No hidden fees no extras the service lasted as long as he estimated and the cost was as we talked about up front. I will hire him again in the future.

Described what he would do, when he got the parts. Came back within the week to complete it. Also, we are a community, so it went through Association, without any hassle.

Mr Thomas was one of the most professional tradesman that we have dealt with. Was thorough in everything from his estimate, to his work, and finishing with his final explanation of what he did and how we need to operate the new installments. In our opinion he sets the bar for conduct and execution in his trade.

Called late night - he returned the call right away. He told me who to call first and what to do and actually thought someone else with different equipment might work better for me. After getting the run around from RotoRooter and the possibility of not having any water for days I called him back and asked if he would just try. He was here within the hour and 15 minutes later I had water. He said I was very lucky and I agree but I'm so happy I contacted him. He charged me $75 for the service call and it was money well spent.

Done in no time. This is second time I have used services and am very satisfied.

Scheduled quickly, work done professionally.

We were not happy with them and it was not a good service. They were a little rude because I had purchased the wrong water heater and they had to come back again to install a correct one. I will never use them again but their price was good. When they did their work it was great. They were here when they said they would be.

This is the second time I used Tom Thomas/Co. They are EXCELLANT!!! They call ahead and tell you which serviceman will arrive at your home and describes the truck they will arrive in. That in itself, is an outstanding service. I bought a "Fancy" toilet on my own and wanted Tom to trade it out from an out dated style. I did not have him measure the area previous to my purchase and now have to return my "fancy" toilet for a modern smaller version. He measured the area and told me exactly the size I need. He also helped me with the purchase of the tub faucets as they, too, come in various sizes. We traded ideas, sizes and styles via email. What a fabulous PLUMBER! WE LOVE THEM!

He was very professional. Arrived when he said he would. Explained everything to us. The job was done neat and clean and the area the repair took place in was kept free from debris.

great, he explained what he was finding as he was doing the work, how it was the cause of the problem, and how he was going to fix it. he also pointed out other issues, and explained they needed to be addressed or would lead to bigger issues in the future.
