I've had an issue with Verizon. The phone plan that I was on, I got contradictory information, four months in a row and it's still ongoing. I had auto pay and all of a sudden, I got last month's bill. They didn't charge me a late payment, but it was like they hadn't received it. I had a series of calls and it was highly stressful. They gave me different stories and different excuses. The last phone call was an hour and a half long and still wasn't resolved. They had me running in circles with all these details. But, basically it didn't make any sense because it was supposed to be an auto pay from my checking account and the bank said they had never turned down a payment, but the Brighton people said that they were wrong and that they did, that the bank turned it down and so there would be a two month delay. The last phone call was the third time that I had to go through a whole automated system. During an operator call they said, for the last two months that that was part of getting on auto pay again because I had to reapply with a two month delay. Basically, I just had to do it again. This was in the last week. PNC, the bank that I use for the checking has denied that it's not their policy. That once the auto pay is set up, there is no other exceptions or any factor that would change their policy. Once it's there, they would accept the payment. I had set up auto pay probably three or four years ago and this is all of a sudden. I have been extremely disappointed with the service I've gotten from Verizon. Plus, my bill is about five to six times higher than it was two years ago. They're trying to put the onus on me. Every time I call, I get a different agent with a different reason that somehow boils down, in their record that it's my fault, although I didn't do anything wrong. Somehow it's on me, it's not on them or an error. It has been horrendous. From agent to agent, you call six times, you get six different explanations. I have to use them now because I don't know what to do. I'm not changing yet, but I have to find an internet provider.
