When Penoco first opened its doors in April of 1988, founders Donald Peno and Timothy Sommer wanted to provide their customers with unbeatable service. Not just any service but a service no one else in the environmental contracting industry would be able to match. By continuously offering the best quality of work, along with the most courteous and professional experience, their business quickly grew and to date, has resulted in nearly 7,000 successful jobs. By 1996, Penco had grown immensely, taking on countless jobs and hiring several more employees. The time had come to relocate from their cozy office at Cato Park to a much larger space in Pleasant Gap. In 2009, to accommodate the company's continuing growth, the building went under major interior renovations. Over the past 25 years, Penoco has presented superior service to residential homes, offices, churches, hospitals, and schools. They have been known and trusted for their experience and excellence in asbestos building inspection and abatement, mold inspection and remediation, radon testing and mitigation, and lead-based paint testing, along with interior demolition, shot blasting, floor preparation, and building inspections. The Penoco team is fully insured and licensed to work in all areas of Pennsylvania and Maryland, whether the job is small or large scale, for residential or commercial property. Our services include asbestos inspection and abatement, mold inspection and remediation, lead-based paint testing, radon testing and mitigation, interior demolition, building survey, phase one inspection, floor preparation and shot blasting.

Services we don't offer

Although we do not personally offer lead-based paint removal, we have teamed with a group of certified professionals who, after Penoco has preformed the necessary testing, will remove the lead through object enclosure, object replacement, or encapsulation. This ensures a complete remediation process!
