Our initial contact with Mammoth Restauration was with Corey, but he left a couple of young irresponsible, careless, lazy, inexperience guys in charge, Emir as a Supervisor and Bruno as his next one in charge of directing the job at our home. We did not see Emir, the supervisor for the next two days and Bruno was in charge until things got out of control. During the first cleaning day, Bruno left the cleaning crew by themselves in our property. They did nothing but fooling around, leaving empty cans of soda all around the house, and did not do a very effective cleaning job at all. We found them alone in the property twice while Bruno was doing other jobs. They even used some of our cleaning supplies and drank our sodas. They broke many items and attempted to cover up the damage. We found several items missing and literally we needed to purchase them again in order to complete some projects around the house. They even transfer the soot contamination from inside the house to the back of the house by leaving the shades on top of our grill. Mammoth did give us a couple of gift cards but they could not cover all the missing and or damage item. We complained to Bruno, about the lack of professionalism of the cleaning crew and he got upset, they were literally bossing him around. What can we say about Mammoth Restauration - Doylestown? Their lack of organization, work ethic, responsibility and common sense is galactically mindless. Our advice to you is to stay away from them.

My husband and I have had one of the worst experiences with Mammoth that we have every encountered. We had a dishwasher leak in our home on April 28th. The very next morning my husband contacted our insurance and was instructed to contact Mammoth to come in an assess the damage. The crew that had any part of cleaning up and drying out our kitchen were great. They were prompt and worked for us with the insurance company to explain that our home was not livable for the 2 days they needed their equipment in the home. Monday the second another gentleman came out and cleaned up all their equipment and put our appliances all back. The dishwasher was never put back correctly from that day. The insulation around it was left out, there were screws and a screen of some sort that were not put back and the door now hits the counter top when you open or close it. We then met with Jason who came out and gave us a quote to do the repairs in our home. He worked with the insurance company and worked with us to get our needs met. We took a couple days to look over the contract and decide that is what we wanted to do. We did not have bidding wars with other contractors or see who could beat their quote. We thought they were a reputable company and wanted the work done right. On May 26th we signed the contract and my husband dropped it off in the office to Lea with a check for $5,000.00. At that time he was given a lock box for our door to keep a key so that when we left for vacation on May 27th they would have access to our kitchen to take measurements for the cabinets and the countertop. While on vacation the color choices for our flooring, counter tops and paint were all emailed to Lea. When returned from vacation we learned that week that no one had been out to our place the entire time we were gone like we had originally agreed upon. So we set up a time for the cabinet maker to come out and measure. My husband and I both left work to meet him there at 1:00. Mike from Mammoth was there but the cabinet maker never showed up. We got no phone call letting us know he would be running late. My husband told Mike that the lockbox was still on the door and the could come whenever but that we couldn’t meet him because we had to return to work. My husband also asked Mike if we could get the dishwasher reconnected to water at some point. We have two small children and used the dishwasher regularly. At that point we didn’t even have a functioning dishwasher. Mike told my husband that someone would be out the next day to hook it up. My husband had to call Lea then next day to see if it had been done because of course there was no indication that anyone was there. No one showed up, she emailed him on the 16th to let him know that Scott would be out to hook it up. He left the old connection laying on the counter, I’m guessing so this time we would know that someone had been there. But still the screws, screen and insulation were not put back on the dishwasher. At this point we became very aggravated because we are being lied to about when people will be there, when the work will be started. Lea then went on vacation the week of May 27 and would return July 5th. She let my husband know on the 22nd of June that she would contact the cabinet maker and get a date from him since she would be out of the office. We never heard a thing from her again until July 6th where she forwarded an email from the cabinet make that came in on July 5th stating that he was in the hospital and had not even started our cabinets. Let me reiterate…. She got the email from him on the 5th of July and didn’t immediately notify us THE CUSTOMERS of this set back. So at that time our start date is pushed back until the 18th of July. On the 7th of July my husband asked to be in contact with the Branch Manager (who we later found out was also a co owner) Scott Fry. He spoke with Mr. Fry and expressed our frustrations we’ve had with the entire situation, mostly Lea. He was made aware of everything and the phone called ended with Mr. Fry assuring him that Lea would call him on Monday July 11th to follow up. Monday July 11th passed with no phone call or email correspondence from Lea. My husband send Mr. Fry and email on July 12th wanting to know why he hadn’t heard from anyone. At this time Lea send another email saying it was an oversight on her part. Unfortunately that was not the first or even second time someone had done this. She then let us know that the cabinet maker had yet another issue and our new start date was moved again to July 25th. Now, Mr. Fry was made aware of the non contact from Lea on the 11th. Not once did that branch manager reach out to us knowing that the same ridiculous business was going on. You would think that pleasing his customers whom I might add already paid them $5,000 for the job that hadn’t even been touched at this point. But it wasn’t, he didn’t even show any care or concern to the way our project was going. Lea promised my husband in an email which I have documentation of that she was working on a schedule for us and would have it to him by the end of the day July 13th. Of course July 13th came and went and not a single phone call or email was made. My husband and I stewed on this…. Until July 19th… just to see when someone would reach out. The truth, no one would reach out. My husband again had to email and ask Lea where the schedule was. Again, it was an oversight on her part. Scott Fry was made aware of the situation and again did nothing to get in touch with us. On July 19th she emailed a schedule which wasn’t complete because she hadn’t heard from the cabinet maker and also let us know in an email that after the cabinets would be installed it would be another 2-3 for the counter tops because they hadn’t been measured yet. Keep in mind we were told that between May 27-June 4th we were told that they would be in there measuring. At this point I made contact with Mammoth and got the phone number for another owner Mike. I was told by Dawn that he was not in the office and that she didn’t know when he would be because she doesn’t know his schedule. At that point I gave my husband Mike’s direct line #. He called right away and Mike answered…. Even thought moments earlier I was told he was out of the office. Mike said he would look over the notes and call my husband the next day. As of 2:30 the next no phone call had been made by Mike. At that point I contacted and filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the BBB. Mike had the nerve to tell my husband on the phone that if he didn’t calm down he would terminate the call. He also did not care about how we as the CUSTOMERS were being treated. Mike told my husband that he needed to call Scott Fry because he was expecting a call. That is where I took over and called him. I went through once again the entire situation. I told him we were cancelling our contract and wanted the full $5,000 that we paid back. He then told me he would have to call me back to let me know when I Could pick it up. He said anytime after noon on July 21st. My husband and I both went into the office today to pick up our check. It was laying on the counter. Lea came out and told us that was our checked and then walked back into her office. No manger or owner even made their presence known while we were there. No apologies were given to us at all. I end this review with this. I strongly urge you to think twice before ever hiring Mammoth to do any work for you. The Attorney General, BBB and the State Rep will all be filled in on the business this company provides. As well as our insurance company has been notified and she was utterly disgusted. She apologized to my husband over and over for something she had no control. However the persons who did have control did NOTHING. Mammoth is one of the worse business we have ever came across. They are dishonest, unreliable and take your money and not care about doing the work. We have also heard more horror stories from the community on this business since this has all happened. The word will be spread in our personal and business lives. Do yourself a favor and do some research before hiring them

What started out as a huge, overwhelming, water/heating problem, ended up an incredibly successful reconstruction achievement. In all honesty, Mammoth Restoration & Construction company turned a home in complete upheaval due to massive water damage into a home that is not only restored but in better condition than before the incident. Every person who is employed by Mike Bevilacqua's company that we had any contact with, exhibited an unique ability to empathize with our plight and made every effort possible to not only do a good job but to exceed our wishes and expectations. Mike Heath, Project Manager, is dedicated to excellence and total customer satisfaction. He was professional, generous, considerate and responsive. He offered creative ways to exceed the quality, repair work and restoration process that resulted in an extremely well done, attractive outcome. In retrospect, all the men and women who were involved in this (major, extensive, water damage) incident were first-class, highest quality people. I would highly recommend this company over and above any other restoration and construction business. You can be confident that your problem will be competently taken care of,with great care, and superior workmanship.

They came in to clean up some basement flood damage, even coming during a storm. They were great about moving furniture amd removing only the really damaged objects. They had to remove some wood paneling because of mildew, but actually left most of it intact which was helpful. They were also nice about billing because I didn't have insurance coverage.

From the initial phone call to the completion of service, this company and all their reps were very professional. The rep that actually came to our house put our mind at ease that things would be fine. He explained what he was going to do, answered our endless questions, and gave us frequent updates. There was equipment in our basement to help dry out water that was produced from a water softener that was improperly installed. Not only were we impressed by this company, the rep onsite at our home was great to work with. Where we hope we never need to have Mammoth's service again (because of the nature of why we homeowners would need to call them), we won't hesitate to call them if the need does arise again.

They did an excellent job. They came when they said they would be there. They did the work and cleaned up after themselves. Their employees were thoughtful, capable, polite, and professional. I have suggested them to others who were also 100% pleased with them.

After living in our house over 23 years and not a drop of moisture, our basement flooded on June 28, 2013. I quickly realized that just replacing the carpet in the family room, that is located in the basement, was not an option. We needed professional help in removing all moisture and possibly mold and mildew. That is when I decided to join Angie's List and check out the companies that perform this service within the area. Because of the their ratings I contacted Mammoth on Saturday morning, June 29, not expecting to have an actual person answer the phone. To my surprise, they showed up at 1:30, assessed the situation, gave me an estimate, had me sign the contract and by 2:00 started the demolition. At one point they had six guys working here. Four stayed until 8:00 that night to finish the job. Our books and nicknacks were boxed and moved upstairs. The rug and padding were ripped out along with the bottom two feet of walls and insulation. All was carefully carried outside and taken away. They cleaned up and sprayed the basement with anti-fugal treatment. Thirteen huge fans and the biggest dehumidifier I have ever seen were positioned all throughout the basement. They stayed on until Tuesday afternoon of the following week. During that time they checked in several times to move the fans around and spray the basement once again. The basement is dry, dry, dry! I can't say enough good things about this company. It is because of this team that we felt comfortable contacting their building side of the company to reconstruct our family room.

It went very quickly and I got a good explanation of what was going to happen. Best of all was that they lowered the price from their initial estimate when the realized the damage was less extensive than originally thought. This was good because my insurance didn't cover this and I was paying out of pocket.

My biggest problem with OTHER contractors in the past was that you never knew when/ if they would show up to work. Once the project was started, they had someone there every day until the project was completed. In addition to the repairs, we asked them to take care of some other items that we had wanted to get done but didn't have time to complete. The installed tile for a counter and back splash, replaced some outdated light fixtures and relocated others. During construction, we had another issue with our water softener overflowing and flooding the carpeted floor near by. Within an hour of my call, they had a water technician there to begin the drying process. Overall, we dealt with at least 15 different employees for everything that we needed done and every single one of them was polite, hardworking and detailed oriented. Given the nature of everything that we had done, we dealt with everyone from our project manager, the roofers, drywallers, electricians, painters, tilers, carpenters and water technicians. My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about all of them and will gladly have them back to do more work in the future! Hopefully next time it's things that we want to do and not due to a misfutunate events.
Description of Work: I have had a lot of experiences with various contractors throughout the years. We recently had some roof damage during a storm (Sandy) that caused multiple water leaks in our garage. I called them at 7:00 PM at the instruction of my insurance agent. After explaining the situation, we decided that it would be best if they came out the next morning. They arrived promptly the next morning to tarp the roof. The scope of work was to first stop further damage by tarping the roof. Because of the extensive damage to the east coast, it took a few weeks to get the insurance company to even come out and do the evaluation. Once they did, it was determined that we needed to replace the roof, repair the drywall and reset everything in the garage.

After a branch decided to land on my garage and shed I called several builders and tried online service companies just to get estimates for the insurance company. No one would even respond until I called Mammoth. Even though I was 30 miles from their business base they responded quickly, gave me estimates for insurance and then completed the repairs in a very timely manner. They matched my garage shingle color very well and the quality of the workmanship is first rate. If I am ever in need of this type of work again I will call Mammoth without delay.
