+ -1 moreThe first scheduled appointment was rescheduled which was disappointing. The second appointment went like a dream. The person that did the install did a fabulous job. The doors look beautiful and we will be scheduling the windows in the future.

+ -1 moreThe windows are beautiful, absolutely stunning. I love the windows. The contracting was great. Everything worked out on time. It was wonderful. The salesperson didn't try to oversell me windows. He made sure that the needs that I had were met, but essentially, he said, "You don't need to go any higher than this type of window. You're just going to waste money doing that." That to me was a huge selling point. I had other contractors come in and say, "You could get this, this and this," but I didn't want any of that. They're very easy to work with.

Description of Work: We had an oversized 3-panel patio door installed. Because of its size, a stronger grade was needed. The crew was right on time and in constant communication with us. They worked to properly fit the door and went out of their way to customize the outside trim. Great team work from the salesperson thru and including the installation crew. There was a follow-up call to make sure we were totally satisfied.

Description of Work: They are going to replace a sash in a crank out horizontal window. Initially they were very quick to answer my inquiry. They sent a person right away. Tried several times to reach this guy after he gave me some prices to confirm a sale. Tried 3 times and got no response. |Finally someone did respond. Apparently the person who was here for the estimate left the company the following week. |Once I was able to reach a contact through phone calls and email, they were helpful and were more than willing to process my order. So I would recommend them in the future. |I will let you know how well the product is once they have installed it in August.

+ -1 moreWe had them complete the jobs in two different phases that were several years apart. I felt that the price was fair. We like the quality of their product. There was one case where the wrong trim was installed and they corrected it immediately without any troubles. They did a wonderful job!

+ -1 moreWe felt it was a bait and switch tactic, quoting one price but then finding out the job would be significantly higher.
Description of Work: Received a quote from salesman which was satisfactory. When the installation manager came to verify measurements, he said they could not do the job as quoted and the salesman then told us that it would cost an additional $2,800 for the job above what we were quoted. We cancelled the job. We found a different vendor and got the job contracted for about half of what Pella was going to charge.

+ -1 moreWhenever we call them in 2009 they say to call a electrician but won't recommend one that knows about their skylights. I have offered to pay them for an hour or two to come to fix the problem when it occurs like I did in April of 2008 . I can recommend their windows but don't buy skylights from them.
Description of Work: I bought two skylights from Pella Windows in Dunmore PA in 2002 and there has been a problem for many years with the remote tripping and the skylight doesn't close or open.

+ -1 moreThe sales person came out and explained things to us. The price was high but we wanted top quality windows. We were familiar with their name and did financing through them. They trimmed the inside very nicely and did quality work. They were a little on the slow side as I thought they could have moved a little faster.
