Installers were great. the windows were more than I expected for the price. Happy I chose Zen.

Very smooth transaction. Andrew quickly responded to our questions during the sale/ordering process. Price was very fair and competitive. Install crew was awesome-very personable and pleasant. They clearly answered a few questions that I had. They all knew their job and did it well. They also did a great job on the cleanup. I would recommend Zen, it truly was stress-free from beginning to end.

Zen was amazingly professional. Andrew sent me a price without any salesman coming to my house and within a few days of accepting they measured and 4 weeks later installed 8 windows in one day. They were courteous professional and very reasonable. I had half of my house done my apex last year and their franchise went under and they left me w8 windows not done. Zen made the exact windows to match my existing windows and it looks amazing. I need my sunroom and basement done and I will definitely use them again for that. Absolutely recommend them.

Service was efficient and friendly. Entirely on line process was easy. Although the price for the window itself was competitive there was a $300 surcharge for just one window Ended up going with another installer. Would certainly consider for more than one window.

Andrew was amazing to work with from start to finish. I will say this look no further than Zen Windows. Do not, I repeat, do NOT sit through painful sales presentations. I literally had anxiety from the wheeling and dealing of number dropping of competitors its a game and its absolutely insane when sales people do that. You will NOT experience that with Zen. I did the comparisons - the leg work and we kept going back to Zen because it was such a painless process. They sent out their crew to do the final measurements, our (8) windows and patio door were made in weeks, no sooner they sent out an awesome crew to install our windows and patio door. I was amazed. They were all so polite and professional. I did my homework and we are very pleased with the results. A+ for Zen Windows we are truly at peace with our decision. Such an awesome experience.

Installation was really simple on my end. They showed up and got to work right away. I barely had to lift a finger. The windows look fantastic too.

My wife and I are extremely pleased. Totally pleased with the window quality and the installation service. The installers had the 15 window replacement job done in 30 degree weather in about 6 hours. Totally cleaned up and gone by 3 oclock. Andrew and his team are a credit to their profession. I recommend Zen Windows to anybody looking for a good window at a good price.

Great! They have a unique way of ordering . Absolutely no pressure - you tell them what style window you want and how many of each and they give you a price. Its all done online so they look up a picture of your house online (there's usually one from the real estate site when you bought the house or Google maps) and from that they know the approximate size of the windows. If you decide to order from them - then they send someone out to get exact measurements. Also, there's no payment required up front. No payment until you are satisfied. They collect payment at the end of installation.

Got an online quote which was reasonable. Window were installed about 3 weeks later. The whole process was very smooth. I would not hesitate to hire Zen Windows again in the future.

Our windows were original from 1989 so they all needed replaced. Getting started is a dreadful process because you know that a few evenings of your life are going to be spent with a window salesman coming to your house showing you samples of windows...unless you go with Zen. I emailed Andrew and just by looking at Google maps and old MLS photos of our house he saw online he could give me a quote. I think I sent the request around 9AM one Saturday morning and had a quote before we had breakfast cleaned up. The price was exactly what I thought it would be. You're not getting much quality for anything less than $500 per window. Plus if you value customer service then it's a no-brainer. I probably emailed a dozen questions to Andrew (the owner) throughout the whole process and I had a response within minutes. They came out to measure shortly after we agreed on a price and about 5 weeks later we had a house full of new windows. They did my second floor one day and my first floor the next and were gone by 2 each day. They probably could have done the whole house in one day if they needed to but it was better this way since they had no reason to rush. We had one concern about caulking around a window because of the size of the old window but after one quick email to Andrew it was fixed within ten minutes. If you want to save a few bucks and get bargain basement customer service go with the other guys but if you want a job done right go with Zen. I would recommend Andrew's team to anyone.

Zen Windows Pittsburgh has been nothing but professional and customer service from the installation guys could not be better! From the time we requested an online quote Andrew emailed us back within minutes and then answered all of our questions promptly and professionally. We had received other quotes from other companies but we are glad that we chose Zen. Our windows were ordered and came in earlier than had expected. We scheduled them to be installed on a Thursday but when an unexpected wind storm came through Western Pennsylvania it was rescheduled to Saturday at 9 am. They brought two crews on Saturday and were able to install all 17 windows before dinner! They walked us through every room, showed us how the windows worked, educated us on what we bought and made sure to answer all of our questions for us before leaving. My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about the professionalism and customer service from Andrew and the installation crews. If you are thinking windows and have not contacted Zen Windows Pittsburgh yet please do! You will not regret it!

Very pleased from start to finish. The sale portion was quick and painless (no presentation, upselling or additional fees). The pricing was competitive and included everything, which I appreciated. Andrew was also quick to respond to my questions. The windows came in well within the timeframe, and with the good weather, they fit us in quickly for the install. Russ and Matt were courteous, efficient and clean, and did the whole install (five windows) in one day. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely use them again.

After researching several other companies online through Google, Yelp and Angie's List and reading all of the bad reviews on local companies in my area, I came across Zen Windows. Other companies require a sales person to come to your home but not Zen Windows. I was a little skeptical at first because I wondered how they could give me an accurate price quote without seeing my home but they had set prices per window for the style we wanted. I requested a quote online and was contacted by Andrew. We had a brief 5 minute conversation over the phone so he could get an idea of what we wanted, including how many windows needed, and had a quote sent to me shortly after. There was no pressure, no pushy sales tactics, no hassle. Andrew advised me to just let him know if we'd like to proceed after reviewing the quote. We needed 18 windows installed and he gave us a very fair, reasonable price. Our windows were ready within a few weeks and installation was set for shortly after. The installation team (3 guys) arrived on time and started working right away. I was originally told it would probably take 2 days to install all of our windows but they had them all done in 7 hours!! They never even stopped to take a break. We were really impressed. They were friendly, funny and talked to us all afternoon. It made having strangers in our home a lot more comfortable. Before leaving, they showed us how to operate the windows. I love the fact that our windows can be flipped down and cleaned from inside since we have a 2 story home. I definitely recommend Zen Windows Pittsburgh to anyone and everyone looking for quality windows at a reasonable price. After our exceptional service, I wouldn't go anywhere else! They installed 15 windows in one day and finished the trim on another. They were very professional and did an amazing job. I am delighted with my new windows.

Zen windows has an very consumer-friendly process for getting high information, low pressure bid information. No salesmen will come to your home, and all preliminary correspondence is efficient, prompt and online. Andrew Zahn gives personal, prompt attention and detailed responses to questions and concerns during the whole process. Once we made a decision on the type of windows we wanted, a professional window measurer came to get accurate measurements within 1/8" of each window. One window turned out to have a slight mismeasurement, but Zen promptly fixed the error seamlessly & on schedule. The windows were custom ordered, and were ready in four weeks. After working out a few scheduling wrinkles, a large crew was able to do all the installation work over one weekend. The scheduling problem we had had nothing to do with Zen, or even the installation manager, but they dealt with issue responsibly and conscientiously. This is a very hot, humid summer, but we noticed an immediate improvement in the comfort of our home with the new windows. The new windows are really great, and noticeably thicker than the original windows, so I had to change all the internal-mount window coverings to external mount. We'll have to order new window coverings for some of them, but it's a fantastic upgrade over what we had. The windows look way better from the outside, and the inside of the house. I'd say the only challenges we had during the whole process involved getting the windows installed, mainly because they're incredibly busy keeping up with a high & growing demand for a great product. It was all totally worth it, compared to nearly twice as much we'd pay for a top of the line Andersen window that is definitely not twice as good.

We love our new Zen windows! The selection and purchasing process was simple and hassle free. Everyone involved was polite, professional and a joy to work with. Plenty of good info provided to help us get exactly what we were looking for. Zen installed all of our new windows, including two oversized, custom picture-casement windows in one afternoon. We needed one small adjustment to one of the windows. They came back immediately and took care of it. Fabulous customer service. And of course the windows are beautiful. We are very pleased in every way.

I can't tell you or express how pleased I am with my new windows and the overall process with Zen. Andrew is beyond wonderful and responded to all my emails lighting fast. John and his crew are all true professionals. The whole process from start to finish went so smooth. My house was SPOTLESS after installation and the new windows look AMAZING!!! If I understand correctly, Zen Windows is a local distributor for the Softlite company in Pittsburgh area, and the installation is contracted out to a company that installs many different types of windows in addition to Zen. It is meant to be a no-hassle experience, and I would agree with that. The time from having the windows measured to installation was about 9 weeks, although I got the original call that the windows were done after 6 weeks. Apparently, it was an extremely busy time for the installation company due to the time of year. Once we settled on the day, the crew of 4 showed up about 10 AM and finished by 4 PM. The crew was good about laying down drop cloth and cleaning up afterward. The lead person appeared knowledgeable about the installation and answered the many questions I had. The quality of the finish work was very good. Windows look great. Andrew, the franchise owner of Zen in Pittsburgh, was responsive to my questions and took care of the business side. I felt that the price for the windows was reasonable, and compared well to prices I had researched on Softlite windows.

All aspects were handled in a professional and competent manner.

Their communications and scheduling did not work well for me. The job was done well and they worked with me to do everything to my satisfaction.

The communication was good; the installation was professionally done and the workers were friendly and courteous.
