Description of Work: They come every year. They come every year, and they check the furnace and the air conditioning. They just go around and check everything. Make sure the air conditioner's in good shape, make sure we don't need anything for that and they check the furnace, the filters, that kind of thing. The $99 covers both of the services.

I have been very happy with them ever since. That is why I keep calling them back. They know me on a first name basis now. They have been great.

 + -1 moreThey are good. That is why I have been using them for the past 10 years. They are always very good. They always get me on the schedule. They have a schedule because they are busy during the fall and spring trying to take care of all the furnace checks and so forth but not on an unreasonable time. Maybe, it took a week which was acceptable to me because it was not an emergency. It was just preventative maintenance. Their punctuality is always good. Their professionalism is excellent.
Description of Work: I use Weidner Heating & Air. I have them every spring and every fall to check my furnace and air conditioner.

 + -1 moreWhen I reported the gas leak to Weidner and requested service again, I was treated very rudely by the person on the phone. I was told everyone was in a class; there was someone with a gas leak ahead of me; he couldn't tell me when they would call or get someone out. When I asked questions, he talked over me and when I raised my voice to be heard, he began screaming at me for yelling at him. Very unprofessional.
Description of Work: They cleaned the circuit board the first time out at $168, and then the next day had to have it replaced at $420. Two days later a gas leak was confirmed by the gas company.

 + -1 moreTook a long time to get project started/finished. Communication on the timeline was poor. When finally done, the technician said he didn't have his paperwork with him, so he took my credit card and said he would send a receipt. I was NEVER able to get a receipt from them or any paperwork on the job. I called repeatedly and was told over and over again that the "owner" would have to call me back. He never did. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

 + -1 moreThe process went very well, they custom build all of their duct work off site, and they are ready to complete the job the same day the start.
Description of Work: After many estimates, I contacted Weidner Heating and Cooling. I live in a multi level Contemporary home, which can be a heat and cooling nightmare. Weidner sent an engineer out to my house, he explored every option, and investigated our current system. after 2 visits, Weidner came up with a plan... Strategicaly place an additional cold air return, upgrade our current system, and utiltize an existing ceiling fan... All of these recommendations made an immediate 15d difference in cooling, and Electric bill. These guys are amazing, and know their stuff!

Description of Work: I called them 3 times with no return call. then I finally got someone, who disgusting said he would be there at saturday 9-1. At 2 pm no one had shown. I called and they said they were running behind and would be there soon. No on showed the entire day, and no one called back. the whole saturday was wasted. I can never get back that day, but no one should put up with this shabby treatment. They obviously do not care or know anything about customer service. Bankruptcy would be too kind

 + -1 moreAs it turned out, it was a simple replacement of a duct motor that failed in the closed position. With the correct replacement part, the furnace was back up and running in short order. Once it was repaired, I went to the internet and found that the part that Weidner gave me sold for $70.00 from various internet suppliers. Still can't believe the owner said it was a New Year special and didnt charge me for the part! Thanks Weidner.
Description of Work: Friday afternoon at 4PM, my furnace quit working. Since the furnace was installed by Weidner eight years ago, I went to them for help. I typically do minor home repairs myself so I went to their shop with, what I thought, was the problem and the defective component. They could have either scheduled an after hours call or weekend service call with its associated cost, but instead, they GAVE me the part that had failed, amazingly at no charge, and told me what to do. It was a no-brainer. If they were in it strictly for money, they could have charged whatever they wanted and I would have agreed just to get the furnace back up and running. It confirmed my decision eight years ago to go with an established company with a good reputation for customer support.

 + -1 moreThey worked well and were a little bit difficult to schedule. However once they were out, they were very thorough and did an excellent job about diagnosing the problem. They were very efficient about getting the issue fixed and their price was reasonable. We would continue to use them in future.

 + -1 moreThere was no work performed. They didn't have the courtesy of giving me an estimate for a new furnace and air conditioner. It must be nice to be so busy that you don't have to worry about potential new customers.
Description of Work: I called the Company 3 times to get an estimate before they bothered to call me back. I set up an appointment for 9 A.M. on a Friday and took off a half days work to be there. At 10:30 I called to see where they were and was told that they would get right back to me. They never called back and never showed up. If this is how they treat people, I can only guess at the poor quality of any work they would do. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

JIM NOT ONLY DID THE JOB WE HIRED HIM FOR, BUT HE RECOMMENDED ADJUSTMENTS TO OUR CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR. AND WITHOUT BEING ASKED, MADE SOME CALLS TO TRY TO OBTAIN A SECOND REMOTE CONTROL FOR OUR GOODMAN WALL UNIT AC. (I HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL AT OBTAINING ONE IN THE PAST.) WE COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED.

Description of Work: RICHARD CAME TO WORK ON MY BASEMENT JOB. HE SET UP HEATING DUCTS FOR A GAME ROOM, BATH ROOM AND BEDROOM. 2 HEAT RUNS INTO FAMILY ROOM AND 1 RETURN. EXTEND RUN IN BEDROOM AND ADD 1 RETURN. ADD 1 HEAT RUN INTO BATHROOM AND RUN A 4' FAN.
