Two Men And A Truck

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. My movers loudly insulted me every time they thought I was out of earshot. I was not. Appalling way to treat customers. I am behind disgusted.

We had a lot of glass items.They wrapped all the glass. None of it was broken. They were very careful. Highly recommend.

I have used the in the past. They moved me before.They do an ok job. They were on time. They had three guys, and they moved you, they take you there, and it was a little better. They did a good job. They send you like an email for the day, they call. Its professional done. An professional outfit. Three guys came, and moved. It was only an three room bedroom. They moved it, and moved it in an truck. They sent me an receipt, and was pretty professional. I think the did the best. I had a good experience. From contacting them to the end. It was an good experience. I was satisfied. It was a good price. That was an reasonable price. Quality was perfect. They were professional. Two Men And A Truck was professional. Talking to them on an phone and sending pictures, they sent how much it was going to be. It was perfect. They email you right away. I should of used them again.

They were prompt and got everything moved out quickly, but they bumped walls when moving things in, leaving some marks.

Excellent customer service, I highly recommend this company. I called 2 weeks before we moved. After assessing our needs, Joanne quickly set us up with three men and a truck. She was helpful and informative. We received a confirmation email right away, along with helpful moving tips. We also received a confirmation call the day before. The three gentlemen that moved our stuff were wonderful. They called ahead to let us know they were on the way. They were professional, friendly, and very efficient. Our items were wrapped, taped and handled carefully. They have team work down to a science. They took a lot of stress out of moving day for us. I feel the cost was very reasonable, and worth every penny. A+++

Prompt, cheerful, very efficient and effective service. Dispatch underpromised and overdelivered--delightful! We received advisory telephone calls ahead of, and after service, perfectly timed. Workers were sanguine and easy going about the endless staircases in our house (and no elevators)--no complaints, not even any concerned looks. Good value for the money, extraordinary responsiveness when we called. Before the workers left, they asked THREE TIMES about what else could they do while they were there and during the estimated time (there was still some time remaining)--the third time I took them up on it! My husband and I are completely satisfied with Two Men and a Truck, Pittsburgh, and would recommend them to anyone who is moving a roomful, or a houseful, of furniture (especially--but not only-- if the house has crazy narrow back stairs).

Excellent From my first contact with the sales/estimater young lady to the 4 man crew was very professional. polite and helpful.. I never knew furniture could be shrink wrapped BUT it can :) Very meticulous with all pieces.. Did a GREAT job and the job was finished in the estimated time. I was very impressed because I have found in this day and age that it is very hard to find this kind of personalized service. We highly recommed Two Men and a Truck from our South Hills area :)

One of the workers showed up drunk. It took hours for him to sober up. Once he was sober he was kinder but I did not want him working drunk. A chair was broken to my dining room set and broke a framed picture I owned for years. Not okay. Would never recommend them. In fact, I am writing this review so others know how the owner/management handled the situation.

The a small truck which was suppose to be large pulled in over l.5 hours from the quoted time. There were three workers, one of which was not in the best shape to work. I did not want to start the job because I knew I needed a large truck. Finally, one of the workers was able to reach one of the owners by phone so I could speak to him because I knew I needed a large truck. The owner told me to get the move going and he would get another truck out. This is the important part, once the job is started then move DOES NOT stop even if they can not provide the additional truck. What the owner told me on the phone was that the men would have to make a second trip to complete the move. An estimated 3.5 hour move takes twice as long which mad for a very unhappy employee. Not to say I blame him. That is an unfair position to put me and their workers in. Then I tried to discuss the cost and what this was going to look like. The owner said he would work out the details with me Monday because it was Father's Day. I should not have trusted his words. It has never been worked out. The owner I spoke with did talk with me the following Monday or Tuesday ending the conversation with him to call me back regarding price and how his company was going to deal with the situation. To date, no return phone call from the owner or their adjustor regarding replacement of the damaged items. Tried phoning twice. Hind sight is 20 20; I would not recommend the company for the lack of professionalism. If you can not provide the services that were contracted then the customer should get a phone call stating such and asked if I wanted the job to go or reschedule. Not have the truck a small truck show up and then tell me you would get another truck out here. Not professional.

This was only the 2nd time I'd moved with a moving company. The first time it was a company someone recommended off the internet. They took hours charged much more than the estimate, and I thought did a good job, until this move that is. All of my furnishings like couches, chairs, etc. were completely shrink wrapped. My wood furniture was encased in padding. They were done in the time estimated, and when the cable guy showed up and I needed my TV and stand sooner than they planned, it appeared within 5 minutes without my even asking. No damage to anything and done on time and within estimate.

This was the most organized, smoothest, non-stressful experience Lynne was outstanding with me from Day 1 with her knowledge, kindness, professionalism and relating to my moving needs. Andre and Dre are the best movers I ever had. These guys were outstanding, extremely efficient, personable, and set my mind at ease that my move was going to go well. Oh, and both Andre and Dre are impeccable people. They really set my mind at ease with the move. I give these guys my highest recommendation Sincerely, Jason Kukic

I literally laughed on the phone when they quoted me almost $900 for the work I wanted. Not only did they require a 4-hour minimum at $160/hr (for a job that wouldn't take half that time), but they wanted another $160 to drive to my house, which is less than 2 MILES from their location. I contacted them originally because a friend told me she was planning to use them, but she had no idea about the 4-hour minimum. When she called back to get that clarified, they refused to tell her whether they required it until she had taken 15 minutes to tell them all of her move details. At the end of the discussion, of course they did require the 4 hours. She concluded the call by asking them to remove all of her information from their system, and then we both received junk emails from them the very next day. I got 2-3 hours of help from a family member plus another half hour from a friend, and moved my stuff for the $35 it cost to rent a van. I can't speak to the quality of this company's service, but I can't imagine any of it being worth what they would have charged.

Beautifully ! They weren't just on time, they were early, and gave me a call to let me know when to expect them. They were all very professional, gave accurate times estimates, explained exactly what they were doing and why. All of my furniture was wrapped in moving blankets and/or clear wrap and everything arrived in absolutely perfect condition. The most extraordinary part ? My couch, a massive, leather, curved Godzilla sofa, would NOT fit through the front door - they tried every way possible, but it was not going in. The only piece of expensive furniture I own can't fit in the house I just bought ! But they were not deterred ! They then, with my permission. took out my large front window and brought it in THAT way, then put the window back in ! Amazing !!! I would have been stuck with an expensive couch I couldn't use, and would have to buy a new one, but they saved the day ! Such nice, polite, forward-thinking young men. Bonus: The company was in near-constant contact once I'd confirmed my move with them. They sent very helpful emails with packing tips, instructions on how to prepare for a move, and reminders that the date was approaching. They also called twice to make sure I was ready for the move - I was going nuts over the drama of moving, and it was very helpful to have them be so proactive. Can;t recommend them any more enthusiastically ! Solid A+++ !!!

Someone came out to assess house. Was told I would receive an estimate in 1-2 days. Never heard from anyone after that. Then on May 9th I got an email stating "We never heard from you". I wrote back telling them I went with another company because they never sent me an estimate. Don't want to do business with someone who does not follow through.

After one week of exchanging voice mail messages, we finally gave up on trying to get an estimate for our move. The office claimed they could not set appointments for the reps - they made their own and I would have to actually speak with the rep to get scheduled. Called a competitor and had an appointment set within ten minutes.

They could have been a little bit more careful with the furniture. They dropped some things. I would use them again in the future if I talked to the manager first.

They were great! Professional and nice, they took great care of all of my things and made moving a breeze!

We had the perfect moving experience. I got a good estimate over the phone, we wound up spending a little less. The 3-person moving team was fantastic - worked quickly, professionally, and even helped us with last-minute packing. It was a relatively small job and everything went smoothly.

The movers showed up on time and walked through the house for me to show them everything that needed to be moved. The estimate was for 8 to 9 hours to complete the move, but I was able to cut this down as I got a lot of help from friends the day before. I was able to move a lot of smaller items to minimize the time required by the moving company. Anyway, it was very hot and the 4 movers worked non stop to get everything moved in about 4.5 hours. This saved me about half of the original quote price. I was very pleased and happy with the service and would recommend them to a friend.
