Troy Granite

Bekir is a joy to work with. He is a good businessman who will work with you to an agreement suitable to all. The process was fun from start to finish, from the greeting from Lisa to the final installations. I went all over town and beyond looking at choices because I wanted something unique and classy. I decided on Troy Granite because of the choices and Bekir's willingness to negotiate. I was turned loose in the warehouse to explore all the stones. I originally wanted soapstone, but my wonderful other half couldn't live with the scratches that were sure to come. So we chose Marinache, which looks like a river bed of stones. I started with the backsplash to match a stone as I had decided on that finish first. Bekir recommended someone to install the kitchen cabinets and they did a fabulous job, I only reminded them of a couple of things as they went along to keep them doing what I wanted. I advise checking in periodically on any job done in your home. No one knows exactly what you want but you, "the devil is in the details" and all that. Bekir came by and checked to make sure all was well and the crew was doing a good job, we toured the house and talked renovations, very nice man. The templates were done (don't let anyone bring coffee into your kitchen with exposed cabinets, it will inevitably be spilled - no big deal), we placed the countertop template on the stone as we wanted, and the turnaround was 10 days just as advertised. The installation crew was obviously professional and incredibly strong, two people lifting those stones! A couple of weeks to get the window sills installed by yet another professional installer and the kitchen looks amazing! No muss, no fuss. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Troy Granite customer service was excellent! Since they did everything in shop we didn't have to wait long like other places we called, we got our template on 4/12 and they installed the granite on 4/25! They were very helpful through the whole process with everything from choosing the granite to the install of it. They were especially helpful when it came to the sink that my wife wanted. At first they didn't think the double bowl would fit but in the end they made it work and we are very happy with the end result!

We iniitally went with Bradley Stone (Home Depot affiliate) for the countertop . While the Home Depot people were nice dealing with the company that installs it was not great. They were suppose to call us within 3 days of payment to schedule measurement. It would be 2-4 weeks after measurement that countertop would come. They didnt call till 1 week and left message. I called them back within minutes never heard from them again despite leaving messages every single day for 2 weeks. Home depot kept reassuring but eventually cancelled order for full refund though 2-3 weeks wasted in frustration. We started a new search and found Troy. Wow ! what a pleasant experience from start to finish. Reasonable prices. Great selection. They worked with us, gave us ideas, came to our place couple of times to help with island structure. This was a huge island. They did a great job. Dont know how many places let you look at the whole granite piece not a match box size sample. This makes a huge difference for the final look. After granite selection and measurement, we selected the piece based on the template of our island and cook top cut out. When the granite arrived, they were very careful in putting it on top and not damage anything in the kitchen. Overall clean, swift and professional job. Very happy with the results !

They were alright. I felt like they could have probably done a nicer job but I have nice countertop. I liked the fact that they had the granite that I was looking for. They were not the most expensive but they were not the cheapest either. I probably would have gotten a better installer with another company. They came out and made a template but they have not done it 100% but it looks alright. I do not know if I would use them again because they did a decent job but I do not really think that it was 100% perfect at the end of the day. They had me sign off some stuff that I may not have been very comfortable or knowledgeable or sure to sign off on. For example, the question that they asked me was, "Was the sink installed correctly?" Well, I do not install sinks for a living so I really have no idea about that. So, it kind of forced me to say yes but I really do not know. I guess in quite a few years, if the sink has not fallen out yet then I guess it was installed correctly but if it falls off tomorrow then obviously it was not.

All staff was very profesional and knowledgeable about products and processes. Large selection of granite to select from. Granite was awesome once installed. They arrived as scheduled, very through and professional installation. Very satisfied with entire process from start to finish, would recommend to anyone considering new countertops.

There was some confusion over which slab we reserved, but we eventually got the one we wanted and the layout we preferred. Installation was excellent, seem nearly invisible, and finished look is great!

We were quoted a price at the Home Show. Significant discounts were given there (e.g. free sink, reduction on the edging...) When we went to the store we told them that we were concerned about being able to support the granite over the dishwasher. In the store, we were told that they would make a bracket to support it. When they came to measure, the man told us that it couldn't be done. He gave us no options or solutions. He just kept insisting that it was impossible. He took the measurements anyway, gave us a new quote that was $300 higher than the Home Show quote. In his quote the sink was not free and we were charged the full price for the bullnose edging. The work in the showroom was beautiful, but we chose not to go with them, concerned with the dramatic change in quotes.

Though we went to them we got a better price somewhere else to we went to them. We really like the place because they had hundreds of slabs of granite available to look at. They were the second best price compared to the other places that we got a quote from.

Estimate process was easy. Only problem was that we should have been told that if we wanted the exact slab that we originally looked at, we should have put a down payment down to hold it because when we went to select our slab, there was only one left and we didn't like it as much.

They were competitively priced, and had beautiful selections. They did everything they said they were going to do. They showed up and took care of it. Same as everybody else. They did a very nice job. I got no complaints on their service.

I was very lucky to have TroyGranite for this job: they were perfect all around and did an excellent job. I cannot really praise them enough. They were all around professionals. Here are few highlights: - The workmanship was first class. - Everybody in the company was very helpful; they went the extra mile and did everything for customer satisfaction. - The granite selection is likely the most extensive with very competitive prices. - The personnel is very competent: they absolutely know what they are doing. - They did everything to accommodate my wishes: very patient and helpful, even worked during weekends and holidays to shorten the project duration, went through multiple design revisions with us [that literally took months to finalize], etc. - No nasty surprises: they delivered what they promised with the original budget and time estimate! - The work was pretty smooth with almost no mess. They also did great job cleaning up afterwards. - Overall project cost is very competitive. What an excellent place! I recommend them to anybody for granite countertops, and any type of [big or small] kitchen remodeling/work without any hesitation.

Prompt, efficient. These guys are pros, from helping us select and measure a beautiful remnant to choosing a faucet and sink. Went as smoothly as possible from start to finish.

The interaction was just fine. The experience was mediocre. The quality of workmanship was not that great. Their quotes were incomplete.

The customer service was exceptional and we were very confortable asking questions. The fabrication was beautiful and the installation better.

This was a wonderful experience. It was all done in one day. They were super.

I could not be happier with the price, installation, knowledge, and customer service. We completely remodeled our master bathroom. We picked our granite top a month before the vanity was installed. We were anxious to get the project completed quickly so we scheduled the measurement and template for the top to be done the same day the vanity was being installed. They showed up on time and even worked around the carpenters as they were finishing the vanity installation. They measured on a Friday and installed on Monday to accommodate my needs. The installation was quick, clean, and very professional. They wanted to make certain I was completely satisfied with the installation, which I was. I also had them make two custom pieces for my tiled shower. Since my tile guy needed the pieces asap I asked if they could make these in a hurry. I picked them up the same day and my tile guy was able to install the next day without slowing the project down. Unfortunately, the tile guy installed one of them wrong and we had to break the piece of granite to remove it. I called Troy Granite (Baker) to explain the situation and the sense of urgency. 3 hours later the new piece was ready. Now that is what I call going above and beyond. The entire staff at Troy Granite are exceptional and really make it a point to ensure customer satisfaction. This type of commitment to exceeding customer expectation is rare. I stopped in to Troy Granite to take a look at the granite slabs for my kitchen countertops. The staff was friendly and helpful and guided me through the process of choosing a granite countertop giving me advice on what to look for. Once I picked out some pieces that I liked (and was able to take home several samples), I was offered a free in-home quote. One of the employees was available that same afternoon and met me at my house about 1 hour later. He measured, gave me some ideas, and helped me to decide on extending my island or leaving it as it was. He provided me with an instant quote which I thought was very reasonable. He was thorough and said the turn around time would be approximately 10 days once I decided on a granite. After getting quotes from a few different places (Troy Granite being the lowest), we ended up going with another company, but only because we needed plumbing work done to lower the pipes under the sink as we were getting an under mount sink, and Troy Granite didn't provide that service.

They were good, they came when they said they would. They were very thorough. They were easy to work with. I'm happy with the finished work. It looks good and I'm satisfied.

Overall everything was great. After shopping several companies for a granite countertop for my bar, I decided Troy was the best to suit my needs. After talking with them on the phone I visited their showroom. Everyone I was in contact with was knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the countertop and it was delivered on time and was exactly what I ordered. I will use Troy again.

I love the unique quality of the granite and the price was reasonable. I have a large island and a lot of countertop. I like the idea that the Grantie that I have is unique and something you would rarely see.

I would highly recomend Troy Granite to do an installation. The entire process was seamless. I had a top ordered from another company and they kept dragging their feet so I was looking for someone that could deliver fast. It was 15 days from the time I called Troy to today when they installed my top. They have options top fit all budgets ($-$$$$) and the product is NICE. Their showroom was awesome and the selection is huge. ALL employees where professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive. Erin was wonderful, my wife and I happened to be in the area and stoped by to see our template and she got an emplyee to layout or countertop so we could pick the pattern on the slab that we wanted on the focal points. Chris & Ed the installers where very professional and neat. I own my own company and work all over the US. This is the type of company I like to do business with.
