We were looking forward to receiving an estimate from Michael, since the Angie's List reviews were outstanding and what we could see on their website also was. The estimate was promised to be delivered within two to three weeks after the initial visit. Three and half weeks later, (February 26) we followed up and got no answer. Our March 4 email was not answered either. Finally, our March 6 email was answered two days later with "Unfortunately, and since your project is an August project, I needed to place some more pressing projects ahead of yours. I apologize for this delay and recognize that it is probably best to share that I cannot provide you a written estimate at this time". While we recognize, this was a polite answer, we feel that Michael was not professional not answering our emails and not letting us know that August was not soon enough for him. Why did it took five weeks for him to tell us that he was not going to be able to do anything? It is disappointing to receive this treatment from a company that seems to do good projects. It is a shame that we will not be able to confirm if that is the case.

The big deal worked out well. They had found a couple of spots that required repairing. They took pictures and showed it to me, and it was valid. The price was reasonable. There were no dislikes. They were prompt. They did quality work and they were fair. They communicated well.

Joe the plaster man was great. Always on time, did a good job.

They were fine. They got back to me with an estimate for roof repairs. Scheduling was good.

We were extremely pleased with the timeliness and results and would use Healy again.

Our renovation project was coming apart at the seams. We had already cycled through 2 contractors who were unable to complete the request work on time and on budget. We were on a very tight schedule as we had renters moving into our property in less than 10 days. We called Mike/The Healey Company in a state of desperation--on a weekend--and he was on the way home from vacation and had his family in the car. Sensing the urgency, he diverted his car (wife and daughter too) to our house to do a walk through. That was extremely impressive. Within 24 hours, we had a fully document proposal, which again speaks to Mike's high level of responsiveness. From there, his team worked swiftly and professionally to complete the list of projects. Mike and his team were highly responsive throughout the entire process, through a combination of phone, text, and email, which allowed us to get real time updates on the project and make changes as required. They completed the work with days to spare, which we can not thank them enough for. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike. He is highly trustworthy, responsive, and does high quality work. We would certainly retain him and his company for projects in the future and would recommend The Healey Company to anyone looking for a reliable contractor for their own projects.

Michael Healey came out to my house to look at the repairs I needed done in a timely manner in early July. He said he was running about 2-3 weeks behind since the summer was really busy but he would send over a proposal. I had to email him several times starting on July 31st and didn't get a proposal until AUGUST 5. I responded at the end of August to schedule some time for someone to come out. Michael got back to me and said he would be able to have some one come out in the next two weeks if I signed the proposal and sent it back to him. That was August 26th. I haven't heard from anyone from the company, and I have sent follow-up emails. I saw this happened to other members and I was also thinking that the company was not interested in doing smaller jobs but if that's the case, perhaps someone at the Healey Company should be up front about it instead of being non-responsive. Unfortunately, I will not be using The Healey Company and I strongly advise anyone who calls them in the future to have a back up company in mind or just use another business from the beginning.

Their initial response was very timely and Mike Healey came to my home within one week to assess the job. After he reviewed the work, he stated that he was behind in his quotes 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I contacted him again and he said that I could expect a quote by the end of the week. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing. Perhaps he felt the job was to small and he thought the initial wait time would put me off. It was very unprofessional of him not to tell me the job was not for his company.. Instead I have lost 5 weeks and could have contacted another company. Since writing the above review, I received a prompt email apologizing for the long wait time and offering to send me a quote within 5 days. I appreciate the reply but have moved on to other contracting sources.

Great. Mr. Healey and his son were very straightforward and professional. Although slightly more expensive than other large companies, I feel as if the quality, attention and lack of BS was well worth the $. I would happily use The Healey Company again and would recommend them to friends.

They came here and did whatever they said they would gonna do. I don't remember anything bad.

It was OK. I thought they overcharged us. They tried to do too much stuff. They did the work, they were just a little bit expensive. We settled for a smaller amount of money, because they didn't want to do the work I wanted them to do. Their responsiveness was good.

He was really good. He was efficient and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was nice and pleasant. He cleaned up after himself. I bought a deal and so it was cheap. I am thinking about using him in the future.

A woman answered and said that someone would call me back to make an appointment. No one ever called back, and it has been 1 week. I understand people are busy, but it is common courtesy to call back.

I was very happy with the service. I found them to be responsive. They quickly came out and gave me an estimate. They managed to get to me pretty quickly to perform the necessary work, and they made me aware of an available discount. While I wish that they made an attempt to match the coloring of the replacement shingles with the existing shingles, I am still very happy with the quality, timeliness, and cost of the work that was performed.

It didn't. He blew me off.

The Healey Company is a reasonably priced professional roofing company. I have used them three times: sealed two flat roofs and repaired leaks from my chimney. They responded promptly and explain in detail what my options were. I highly recommend them.

They did a good job, but then they sent me a follow up bill, to do a little job over the roof of my garage, and it was over 4,000 Dollars, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't use them in the future.

It went very well. I liked them, they did a very good job. I liked them and I would use them again. I have nothing to compare it with, but for the job they did, I think the price was fair.

The leak remained and I had to contract someone else to fix it.

We started with a $400 coupon to have the gutters cleaned and looked at. That service lead to a quote for about $1800 more to repair the gutters. We had not dealt with the gutters since buying the house a few years prior, but that did seem a bit high. Still, because they were very thorough on their evaluation, we went forward with them. The work was performed, and a leak that was a problem fixed. We waited a long time to get on the Healey schedule, however, and I did wish that I had gone with a provider with more availability. There were many emails back and forth with me asking for a date, and being consistently put off. My real issue was the gentleman who came to repair the gutters. He was a bit, um, rough around the edges, and ended up insulting both my wife and my neighbor by the end of the arrangement. We will need to get the gutters sealed annually, and I won't be asking him back to my home for that service.

We found out that the tiles we used for our kitchen were all sold out from the manufacture, and we had to choose different tiles for the entire floor of our kitchen. The Healey Company removed all the tiles and reinforced the subfloor and also suggested us to place the Ditra uncoupling membrane for extra support, to which we agreed. In order to replace all of the kitchen tiles, they had to remove all the kitchen cabinets and replace them. Although we had to wait a few months to get the work started, once they began, they proceeded very smoothly. The staff were all courteous and their work was excellent. We ended up paying half of the cost of the membrane ($400); however, all the other expenses, including new tiles, materials for reinforcement, paint, and cost of labor, were paid by the Healey Company. At first, I thought the cost of the Healey Company was expensive; however, Michael Healey is very responsible and provides excellent service that I feel the money I have spent is very reasonable. In addition, I am pleased with the perfections of their work. I would highly recommend this company to my friends who would like to have excellent service and work that is designed to be the best for the clients and their houses.

Work was performed as promised. Workmen were courteous and accommodating. Debris was cleaned up and all areas (in garage and in area where fence was installed) left clean. The doorway entrance into the garage is beautiful and as I desired, and the fence is professionally done. It's an excellent job!

We bought a beautiful 1920s home with a gutted Master Bathroom and no water pressure to fill a tub and flush the toilet. The Healey Company worked with us to design a luxurious bathroom befitting of our unique barnyard chic style. We love 3-form material and their carpenter build our Jacuzzi siding and cabinets using the material. We installed heated floors and marble countertops. However, before that we needed to install new plumbing to make our waterfall showerhead feel like the Amazon versus a cry baby. The Healey Company's painter and drywall specialist were meticulous and precise. Their handy man was helpful and frank with every detail. These guys may be a little more expensive than cousin Joe but they stick with a job until its pristine and thorough.

I contacted them recently about an estimate. The owner was really nice, very flexible. He took a lot of time to answer my questions and to talk about the details of the project. I didn't like the fact that the estimate amount was double than what I got from other people. It took about three weeks to get the estimate.

They cleaned our gutters, inspected our roof, did some calking, secured our downspouts and conferenced with us about their findings. There were pictures taken of our roof and chimney areas, showing the need to replace our roof. Mike recommended we wait until spring to have the roof replaced because the sun would help cure it. He was honest about the expense ( huge!) and labor costs ( a lot).
