Description of Work: Jim was very professional and prompt. He took care of our yellow jacket problem. Very satisfied with service provided.

Description of Work: He removed a soccer-ball-sized hornets nest from a small fir tree in my yard. He felt that small, inactive wasps' nests under the eaves of the roof were not worth the expense to remove. Since I was not home at the time, he sent me a photo of the nest on the ground before he took it away. It was worth the money to have a professional deal with this hazard.

Description of Work: Jim personally removed 2 yellow jacket in ground nests from along the side of our driveway. I found the nests after being stung. We tried to remove them ourselves unsuccessfully. Jim came the same day that I called and removed multiple combs from each spot. I am very glad that he was able to get the job done for us. No more nasty, aggressive yellow jackets!

Description of Work: About 10-15,000 honey bees found their way under our bedroom floor. I contacted The Bee Hunter and he arrived the next day, and kept us updated as to his estimated time of arrival. His consultation fee was applied to the cost of exterminating the honey bees. I'm sure he would have tried to save and transport them if they were a larger hive. I hope to not have to use his services again, but if so, I will and recommend him to others.

Description of Work: The Bee Hunter came within hours of my phone call to investigate a yellow jacket nest underneath our deck. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about these insects and explained exactly what the treatment was and the price. He then came back the next day to take care of the nest. It has been over a year and we have had no recurrence. While it is pricey, the service was worth it. I would absolutely call him again. The Bee Hunter did prompt, efficient, and professional work.

Description of Work: We called the Bee Hunter to dispose of a nest of hornets in our block wall. He explained in detail what he would do and which chemicals he would use. He took every precaution the materials he used. The chemicals were injected into the wall where the hornets entered, as well as in nearby openings. He told us that it may take more than one treatment, but the hornets never came back. Big plus...he loved our schnauzer! |He was extremely professional, polite and friendly. We would definitely call him again.

Description of Work: We had two problems: a bees nest and a some kind of wasp burrowing in the ground. It worked out okay. In my opinion it was expensive, but they did a good job and were cooperative and professional.

Description of Work: I initially gave a bad rating because according to its phone mesg, they were no longer accepting new customers (called on 6/11/12). The mesg indicated you have to be an established customer or a recent customer with a warranty issue to get any help. Since I gave a bad rating, I was subsequently contacted by Angie's List to confirm I was posting about the correct company. I checked the website, and called the #, and spoke with the owner this time. He thought I had a case of mistaken identify, although am certain it was his company I called, given his proximity to my home, positive reviews, and useful website. I called actuallly both on the wknd, then tried during regular business hrs during the week, and it had been the same mesg. As I told him, I would have been happy to give him the business, but had my bee problem taken care of by another company already. Basically, although I stand by my story (he states that I called the wrong company), I would give this company another chance and considering contacting them if my bee problem returns. He stated they are definitely accepting new customers.

Description of Work: The bee hunter exterminated a nest of wasps in the first story eaves just outside our front door. He also treated the area above the garage so that the wasps wouldn't relocate. Jim was warranted his work in writing.

Description of Work: We sat on our back porch for the first time this spring and noticed a lot of wasp activity up in the eaves. I looked on Angie's List for a recommendation and called the Bee Hunter because of the positive reviews. We weren't disappointed! Jim was very responsive to my call and came to treat our porch within a couple days. He located the wasp nest and sprayed into the eaves as well as along the perimeter of the porch/deck area. He gave us a warranty good through the end of the year, guaranteeing no wasp nesting on the treated area. Although only a couple days since our treatment, I haven't seen one wasp on the porch. I would definitely recommend!

Description of Work: November 30, 2011. I left a message for The Bee Hunter. He returned my call promptly. I found a nest outside under a balcony and was concerned due to the size of it. The Bee Hunter had me describe how the nest looked. He said it sounded like a yellow jacket next but that all the bees will be gone at this time of year. He said to leave it alone as the nest will break/fall apart on its own. When I asked if the bees would return to the nest in the spring if it was still there, he said no. The Bee Hunter gave me professional advice over the phone and I wasn't charged with a visit to look at the nest. Many Thanks to The Bee Hunter!
