Originally called Terry's Plumbing because the bathtub drain was totally clogged. A full tub of water took almost 24 hours to drain. After a few days, black water started coming up into the tub whenever water went down the bathroom sink drain. The first day they came out they said that the large drainage pipe for both the tub and sink was the original copper pipe in this 62 year old house and that over the years things had solidified and the area inside the pipe had gotten smaller and smaller. It took a few hours to clean out the pipe but in doing so the old original copper pipe had sprung a leak(s) because it had worn so thin. When they returned the second day they completely replaced the pipe with a newer plastic material. When they were done everything was running and flowing like new. Since I am recuperating from a hip replacement and unable to go down my basement steps right now, I couldn't go down stairs and see things for myself. I do know however that about 4 years ago another plumber had told me that he found a small leak in that pipe and had temporarily patched it until it could be replaced. So I'm sure the work was necessary but I'm not sure about the cost as I have nothing to compare it to. Bottom line, I am very satisfied with all other aspects of the experience.

Called on monday afternoon to schedule an appointment on wednesday afternoon. They gave me a 12 pm to 2 pm arrival estimate. They called wednesday around 1215 pm to say the plumber was on his way. Plumber arrived at 1230pm. He was very friendly, professional, and completed the job in about 30 minutes. Fantastic overall experience compared to some of the other franchise plumbing companies.

He was very thorough. He was very good. I thought he did an excellent job.

Terry was amazing, I had called roto-rooter, they came out and could not snake the sewer line and told me it was going to cost $4500 to dig out my basement and replace 4 feet of line. My wife called terry and he was over within the hour. He snaked the line, ran a camera and checked the line and found there was nothing wrong with the sewer line. Terry saved me $4500! He was professional and quick to respond. He will be my plumber from now on and I would recommend him to anyone!

Came home late in the evening from a trip to discover water leaking from the ductwork near my furnace. Determined it was most likely from the pipes above the ductwork. Called the 24-hour number and the answering service took my name and number and told me I would receive a call around 8am the next morning.Got the call just after 8am, and the plumber was at my house around 10 am. He determined it was a pin-hole leak and replaced the length of pipe above the ductwork. Everything was in place, cleaned up, and working by noon. The plumber was nice and professional and explained everything he did. Very pleased that it was fixed so quickly and easily.

Absolutely awful. When I called to make appt. I specifically said my husband & I were confounded because he himself changed out wax ring already two times in just four-month period. Appt. taker understood and she herself was very kind and professional throughout. But the guys arrived way late in day (when was to be late a.m. originally)-- not a problem, but they were still 20 minutes beyond when office thought they'd be there. They arrive and immediately ask me to sign a paper downstairs before even looking at toilet that says they are going to change the wax ring. I smiled and said, "well, we want your estimation on why the previous wax rings were failing, as they seemed ok. Something else seems to be or might be "up." They went upstairs, lifted the toilet and stared down at hole and proceeded to make plans to put a wax ring on, but I interrupted to ask questions-- they were utterly uncommunicative--either tired or something. I stared down at what I learned was the flange that didn't sit well on the floor (and I know nothing about toilets). I said it seems to me that the flange is the culprit-- why are we not changing it? They suggested just another wax ring be put on-- and we were stupid to go along. The two men took about an hour from start to finish (and we had already drained the tank) on what took my husband about 30 minutes to do each time. We had also said to them that we wanted a quickie quote (and we'd pay for time) on our leaky bath faucets. But when they were done with toilet, they hustled downstairs to get bill ready. I had to ask them in foyer about the tub which it was obvious they hadn't even peeked at, I guess, let alone quickly give estimate to us right there in front of shower. Main guy said they are Delta faucets... and I had to interrupt and say that they are not-- but knockoffs, as I am familiar with a minor little fix-job on them before... but needed counsel as to a fix on the leak. We would have paid the company to come back and fix or get counsel from them already in our bathroom on a service call-- but non-informational again. They definitely just wanted to leave and tossed off the shower repair. Can't even say what his final advice was-- it was nil. Couple days later, water again around the rim of the toilet (as before). Called the company and they only offered to take $30 off a quoted bill to deal with the flange problem of $375-475. I decided to eat the loss and joined Angie's list. When I "called off" the company for a return visit and told them about joining Angies List, they called me back later and declared that approx. 1/2 the bill will be credited back. That saving grace of only paying them a service call, essentially, for lost time and money and much frustration on our end is why they got a D and not the originally-deserved F.

We could have been told that we had to replace a lot of expensive to replace equipment. The professional did not take advantage of us and we are indebted to him and his company for their skill and integrity.

I called up at 8am after discovering my water heater was leaking. I had a new water heater later that afternoon. Service was prompt and communication was good.

Problem arose on Friday morning, we came home to a sewer back up in the basement. Phoned Terry's Plumbing, they told us he would be out the next morning. Terry came at 11 and by noon as was fixed.

They dug up a trench for the whole yard, which I would have preferred they didn't, but they said there was most likely a set of elbows in the line making a push not possible. They did a fair job cleaning up and packing the dirt afterward, but left my landscaping rocks laying on the side instead of putting them back.

I would probably recommend these plumbers to others, as they did a good job and fixed the problem.

I was satisfied and would feel comfortable recommending them. The experience was very favorable.

They are very informative. They give ideas for fixing things ourself. They are very personable. They offer to do things in a way that you can afford. They are honest and hardworking.

Terry's was great, they were very punctual and professional! Took less then 30 minutes to complete the job.

Overall I was very disappointed with this experiance.

I was pleased with everything but the price.The receptionist was friendly and accomodating. We did not have to wait long for service. The plumber was punctual and professional. The work was well done and cleaned up. Just thought the price was extremely high. He added a few parts from his truck. We had purchased the vanity ourselves. He was here for approx. 1 1/2 hrs. While he was here I found a $25 online coupon which no one informed me of--so, that took $25 off original $536 quote. It was an overall good job--just way too expensive!!!

Was able to diagnose a damaged sewer line that was backing up into my 1 week old home. I would have had them fix it, but the work was guaranteed by another plumber. They helped me determine the problem and how to give that proof to the other plumber so it would be covered. They were great! Very helpful with making sure I didn't end up paying for something that was not my fault.

I called Terry's plumbing as soon as I noticed the leaking pipes in the basement. I was able to shut off the water, so there was no emergency. They have a very good scheduler that you get when you call. They are able to set up when someone can get out to your home. Terry's was able to send someone out the next day. They checked out the leaks and determined what parts were needed. They actual repairs went very quickly.

My drain gets slow after about a year. They have done a good job both times.

I called Terry's Plunbing at 8:00am to see if I could get a plumber out to the house to replace a broken facuet at our laundry tub. This way a Friday moring. The women I spoke to said it would be Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. After explanning to her my situation that I had to shut off the main water value and we had no running water in the whole house,she said she would have a plumber out either later in the morning or early afternoon. The plumber (Rick) showed up 1 1/2 hours later. He was polite and professional. I explained to him my situation and he looked at the problem. He discused what needed to be done and the price it would cost. He was very professional and precise. I would defenitely call Terry's Plumbling again.

Terry is awesome. We were in a difficult situation because our house, which sits below street level, had a grinder pump in the basement to pump the sewage to the street level. The pump quit working. Terry was trying to find us a pump to replace it, but these are usually custom made, expensive, and would take approximately two weeks to manufacture. At this point, we had no way to remove sewage from the house, rendering it uninhabitable. We were staying at hotels. Terry was able to rig up a temporary pump so that we could stay in our house. He also suggested that we re-route the sewage to flow down hill to the line running below the house. As soon as we agreed, Terry had equipment at our house and started digging. He dug a new line over 250 feet, removed the grinder pump, re-routed the sewage line out of the house, and filled in the pit in the basement. Terry's crew completed the work in less than a week. Terry personally oversaw everything and kept in touch with us during the process. Everyone that I spoke to and that showed up to do the work was professional. We are very grateful to Terry's Plumbing for helping us out. I had used Terry's Plumbing for other plumbing needs over the years and will stick with them in the future.

The job was completed in less than 24 hours with an exceptional level of professionalism. I will definitely use Terry's Plumbing again in the future and would highly recommend them.

I am very happy with them. The work they did turned out to be great. They were punctual, quick, and cleaned up after themselves. It was messy job and they did a very good job. I think their prices were reasonable.

We use them a lot and we will hire them in the future.

We are extremely pleased with the very high quality of this work and very pleased with the end product. Bob Pearsick was wonderful to work with and there was good communication throughout the entire process. The workmen are very concientious and skilled, and they also cleaned up on a daily basis. We are very happy with our new bathroom and feel like we got very good quality for a very fair price. We will definitely use Terry's Plumbing for bathroom remodeling in the future.
