It was an Good experience.

They have been extremely responsive, courteous, and professional - I actually don't deal with them that much since setting up the service because they come as scheduled and do a great job.

I didn't really care for them and I told them I didn't want them back here. One of the biggest problems I had with them, was this past summer was very dry and very hot. They would come and cut my grass; whether it needed to or not. There was this one time where they come and cut in on Thursday and they came right back on Monday or Tuesday. There was nothing there and it was all brown. I was getting charged for them to do nothing or to kill my grass basically. Sometimes I would catch them before they start it and doesn't need to be cut it. While I was just calling them, telling them and leaving message, not to cut it and doesn't need to be. There was one guy, who called me back and kind of scolded me because I didn't call early enough. I called them may be on Friday and Monday my grass cutter usually would come in. He told me that I should have called on Friday. My neighbor saw them cutting my grass, may be year before and they did it pretty decent job. My neighbor had them couple of times and they were doing the same things so the neighbor got rid of them. Other than that, they were okay. They cut the grass and they did the v blocker around the edges. They did an okay job. They should not charge people for anything. Their price was competitive.

They took about five days to do the job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very courteous.

It went very well. They cut the grass each week and in the fall they remove all the leaves.

They were good. We had several estimates from other companies and had a hard time getting anyone to show up. Steel City showed up quickly and gave us a quote on site. They knew what they were doing and said they would come back and do the job in July. They showed up in July and asked for 50% of the money when he showed up with the material and we could pay rest after the project was finished. They doubled checked the work after completion and made sure we were completely satisfied.

The mower catches all the grass, they don't leave it.

Their price was reasonable. The quality of their work was good. They did it efficiently. We would use them again in the future.

The quality of the work was excellent. There were a couple of minor gliches on the way but Mark and his crew listened to our requests and worked with us to create a finished product that we liked. I would recommend Steel City heartedly.

I was not happy with them. Now they are ok though. I had some issues with them which they resolved. They used the huge riding mower thing when they had come here. I had told them that at the beginning that my neighbors had tried using it in their yard and they could not. I told them that they can use it in the front if it’s not raining. Everything went well in the beginning. Later when I came home I found that it had rained and they had mowed the grass. One of the roots of an old tree had come up and they had sliced that. I took pictures and complained to the owner. He said he will call me back and I did not hear anything from him. The next time they came I told them they can’t use the large mower and they used the normal one. They have been doing alright since then. None of these landscapers now know how to edge. My dad used to do a great job. I haven’t had once person after him who has done anything good like him. Once it had rained and they had cut the grass. They did not know that you’re not supposed to cut the grass when there has been a drought. My neighbor had asked them not to cut the grass in front of her house and they cut the grass in my house along with hers. I fought with them and they charged me half the money for it. The people coming for the last few weeks are good. Finally they have got the message that they need to use their brains and not just cut the grass.

The projects went well-minor problem resolved to complete 100 percent satisfaction...trustworthy and friendly. Professional at all times. Hard working... would recommend highly.,

Very responsive. Called right away, scheduled appointment and showed up as scheduled. A little pricey but not too much more than others. Couldn't do the work for 2-3 weeks so I chose another vendor.

Mark, the owner, was quick to respond to our request for an estimate. We were very pleased with the quote given. We had quotes before that were double what Mark gave us. Based on his quote and the reviews on Angie's List we asked Mark to schedule the job. He told us it would be 5 weeks out and he would call in advance to firm up the date. 4 weeks in, I called Mark since I had not heard from him. He told me the weather had set him back and he would need to push out another week beyond the original 5. Mark called the next week and said that he needed to push out the start another week. A 3 man crew arrived on time and completed the project in 3 days. Mark was not part of the crew. Mark did not come by to review the job and receive final payment as he said he would. A couple weeks later after a call with Mark to confirm his mailing address we sent final payment to him.

They mowed and weed whacked my yard for approximately two years. I never had a problem. I still use them now!

THIS WAS THE FIRST COMPANY THAT REALLY SEEMED TO BE INTERESTED IN COMING TO MY HOUSE. THREE OTHERS COULDN'T BE BOTHERED. A THREE MAN TEAM ARRIVED WITH THE OWNER ON THE SELECTED DAY. EVERYONE WAS POLITE AND TACKLED THEIR RESPECTIVE DUTIES WELL. ONE TOOK CARE OF ALL THE EDGING, ONE TOOK CARE OF ALL THE PRUNING AND THE THIRD DID THE PATIO AND WALL WORK. THE WORKMEN TOOK TIME TO SEE THAT ALL WAS TO MY LIKING, EVEN BEING COURTEOUS ENOUGH TO HAVE ME REVIEW A FEW AREAS OF CONCERN THAT THEY READDRESSED, AND ALSO TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY WOULD BE LEAVING FOR LUNCH. I VERY MUCH LIKED THEIR DEDICATION AND INITIATIVE AND RESPONSIVENESS. THE OVERALL JOB COVERED ABOUT 7 HOURS AND THE CLEANUP WAS NICE AND NEAT. I CAME ACROSS THEIR COMPANY THROUGH THE LIST HERE AND LOOK FORWARD TO USING THEM NEXT YEAR.
