State of Art has done a great job for us on several occasions. They did trim work. Great. Interior walls and ceilings. Great. Multi-story exterior brick. Great. The work was done in a timely fashion at a fair price. The employees are friendly and qualified. We will use them again and again.

Michael quoted a fair price to paint my home so I hired him. Big mistake. He told me the job would only take a few days which, in reality, turned out to be over a week, not counting the day he had to come back to clean up his mess. He started at 8:30 and stopped at 1:30. I don't know why, but it would have helped if he worked a full day to finish to job faster. He had an 18 year old assistant who did a terrible job, and that's being polite. He left paint stains throughout my house, including carpeting (Michael denied this), he broke my laundry room sink (was never adequately fixed), he left two rooms with the gray undercoat still visible through a pink and teal top coat, but was then told I'd have to pay an extra $200 to have it corrected. He did repaint the one room without charging me, but he was so rude when I told him I expected him to repaint the other room for free since it was never painted thoroughly the first time. I could see paint brush marks everywhere! He said he would not fix it and then drove off telling me he was done with us. He also left my driveway stained with old paint water streaks which never came out, despite his effort to get it off. And perhaps coincidental, but nevertheless, the blinds in two of the rooms he paints started to smell like toxic chemicals and we had to throw them out. Add the added expense of $700 to our bill and we were done with him. Very unprofessional. Call at your own risk.
