At first, Anthony appeared to be very nice and willing to work with us. Shame on us for trusting him! We have encountered numerous problems in the 2 weeks we have been in the house. The chimney/roof was not fixed as we still have water running down the wall. Since this is something that he agreed to take care of, we have tried calling him but not only will he not return our calls (not even to his Realtor) but he hangs up on us when we call. We have found that he lied on the disclosure and we do not have heat in the finished basement, the brand-new microwave doesn't work because it was installed incorrectly (he drove a drywall screw through the high voltage system because he measured wrong), the "grout" around our fireplace is powder, not grout and we found out when our 2year old was "drawing" in it, and the list goes on. All we want is some kind of response and to have the chimney/roof and heat fixed so we can live in our house.
Description of Work: Anthony is a contractor that sold us our house. From the beginning there were issues with the chimney and roof around that area. During our home inspection, we found that he had hidden plastic under the insulation to prevent water from coming into the master bedroom. We had our own roofer come and give an estimate, which totaled $3200. He said he didn't agree with the estimate and since he is a roofer by trade,he would take care of it for us himself. We had a second inspection before closing and found that water had pooled in the plastic in the attic. Our roofer was apalled at the work that had been done to the chimney. We spoke to Anthony who said the weather prevented him from completing the job and assured us it would be fixed before closing. The day of closing, the weather was nice and the attic was dry. The day after closing it rained and now there was water dripping into our bedroom. He sent someone out again but the problem is still not fixed, we have water running down our wall!
