The job went very well. Harry was great to work with - very willing to do what we wanted and always offered advice on what to do to accomplish our goals for the project. His crew was professional and courteous. They were very good about cleaning up after each day's work and not leaving a mess at the worksite. Harry has great experience and creativity in concrete work. He added special touches that we wouldn't even have thought to ask for that added to the quality and appearance of the walls, driveway, walkway and steps. Overall, Harry's expertise, attention to detail, and being easy to work with made our project a great success. We would hire him again and highly recommend his work and service.

The work went very well. We recently purchased the property and adding the turnaround area was a safety issue. Harry worked us quickly into a busy fall schedule. He and/or his team arrived for estimates, measurements and work when they said they would. The work was well done. I could not have asked for better service or work.

tree roots had uprooted the sidewalk, they replaced that and some extra work to patch up foundation problems. Finished up and informed me to use sand instead of salt this winter for the first year. Got a 15 yr guarantee, Punctual, reliable, and his work was great.

I'm not sure if they were the least expensive but they did a very good job. He's an interesting character but he and his guys do a good job. They were fine. They were good. This was our first time using them.

Everything went great from start to finish. Harry helped design the project, choose the stamp and color for the concrete and stone for the seating wall and fire pit. Communication was very good throughout the project, once the work was complete Harry came out to make sure we were satisfied and do a final Check of the work. A year later we couldn't be happier, friends compliment the patio and we will definitely use them again.

Harry and his team did a fantastic job. The patio design included curves, and pour around deck posts. Everything went smoothly, and his team couldn't have been more professional and friendly. I found Harry Spadafora on Angie's List. He returned my call promptly, and despite being extremely busy, came to our home to view our front porch project. He took our ideas and made them better. He helped us make color and design choices that were compatible with our home. He was very professional, positive and through and he kept us updated on each step of the process. He was regularly on site, managing all stages of the project, as well as doing much of the work himself. He has an excellent crew that work as a team. They are highly skilled and hard working. Their attention to detail was impressive. Doing the job right and customer satisfaction are paramount to Harry.Our project turned out beautifully! I would highly recommend him and hire him again.

After obtaining ~15 bids for the project, I chose Spadafora. Although they were not the cheapest, I chose Harry's (owner) company due to his knowledge, experience, guarantee and other projects. I made my decision in November 2015 to go with Harry, but it was too late in the year to pour. Harry told me that I would be one of his first jobs for the Spring. He followed up with me during the winter months to see if I had any questions and to confirm the project details. He provided his guarantee, "how to" information on concrete care, and insurance information. Harry also met me at my house several times beforehand to review the project and would not start the job until he felt the weather would cooperate so the concrete would be perfect. The crew came on the first day, met with me again, and started digging the foundation. Harry called me every day to update me on the project and he (or a team member) would meet with me in the morning to discuss the day's work. Before the cemet was poured, they made sure I was happy with the forms for all areas. Harry also used seperators made of rubber which don't rot and look better than the basic ones. When the project was finished, Harry had me inspect everything to make sure I was happy. He added topsoil to the sides of the driveway and even fixed problems with my sidewalk and garage pad that were done by my new home builder. The only problem during the project was the crew keeping all their equipment and wood forms on the new grass which did damage some of the areas. Harry also did many things that were outside of the original estimate at no additional charge - he stressed that he wanted me to be happy and meant it. He will be coming back in the Fall to seal the driveway for the winter, too. Overall, I am very pleased with the work of Spadafora Concrete. Harry and his crew were extremely customer focused, making sure I was happy with the work, and if there were any areas of concern, they corrected them immediately. Harry's follow-up was amazing - he called me throughout the day to give project updates and would meet with me daily. He understands the concrete business and was personally onsite every day. His crew did a lot of the pre-work, but Harry was there doing the cemet pouring himself. His crew is very experienced and have been with him for a very long time. If you are looking for any type of concete work, I would recommend getting an estimate from Spadafora and talking to Harry.

Great job from design to finished product. Professional crew and true craftsmen with the formwork, concrete and stonework. Nothing on the project was rushed. The formwork was measured and double-checked. The stonework was like placing puzzle pieces together to match size and color. We selected the colors for the concrete and stain, as well as the design for the stamping. They watched the weather for best pouring temperatures and when we got that late cold snap the application of the sealant had to wait an extra week. The result is beautiful. Harry was involved in all facets of the process and his team even took care not to stomp the tulips blooming in close proximity to the walk. I would highly recommend their work (and have).

Harry was very responsive and got me the information in a timely manner. He was very professional and in-line with other quotes I received. The only reason I did not choose him was another contractor came in little bit less in price and was closer to where I live. Harry was quite a distance away but was still willing to give me a price. And from his pictures he does beautiful work.

Ms. Copeland from Angie List give me important information about these "Big Deals" user agreements. Be sure to read the fine print before you purchase a "Big Deal" or risk losing a refund. I purchased a big deal on June 2, 2015 and tried to work with the contractor to arrange a mutual date, which did not happen. Angie's List informed me that they tried to contact me about this deal which is not true. I checked my mailbox with Angie's List and surprisingly no emails and I never received any phone calls or messages. So when I called to try to have my money refunded from Angie's List , due to no services provided , ($1,399.00),. Ms. Copland informed me that this "Big Deal" had expired and I am not entitled to a refund. Now she proceeded to tell me that an exception would be made in my case and they would credit me for services provided by another of their contractors. It is now winter, so I am forced to wait to use the credit for another one of their contractors for another "Big Deal" for another of their contractors and wait six months till the weather breaks. This is their FAIRNESS policy as Ms. Copeland stated. Angie's list does not represent the consumers in all fairness. They suggested that I post a negative review on this provider. Angie's List seems more concerned about reviews for providers than the actual consumers who pay for their services. Why would I do this in all fairness to the contractor, for all I know he might be the best cement guy in Pittsburgh. I will be canceling my membership to Angie's List.

This contractor did such a great job on my cement porch and sidewalks last spring, I asked if he would redo my gravel driveway, adding a large parking pad/turnaround behind my house. He said he would, if I could wait till fall when he'd be able to get to it. He got to it in October and the long driveway looks great, as does the parking pad! It's so nice to have the pad and a nice level driveway; mine had gotten pretty ugly. I trusted Mr. Spadafora to do a great job because of the great cement work he'd done, and he did not let me down. He is a perfectionest, so sometimes you must wait for him, but the results are well worth it! He gives you exactly what he promised and more, and at a very reasonable price. I am so glad to be enjoying these warm November days on my beautiful patio. Another contractor had promised to do the job in July but bailed on us. After that I contacted at least 15 others. Some came to see the project but all were dead ends and disappointments. It was October and we had all but given up hope when Harry Spadofora from Angie's List contacted me. What a relief! Everything went great from then on. The price was good. He kept his word about everything he said. He stayed in contact. The work was done more quickly than I expected. His cement finisher Dennis is an amazing worker. He and Harry put some cool lines into the cement that enhanced the design. And the patio is so solid it might be here forever!

This has been quite a journey - I had gotten so close with two other contractors before they decided they could not do the job - that I found myself in June starting all over again. I found Harry on Angie's list and made contact. From that day to this, Harry has been really good about maintaining contact and setting my expectations about time frames and about the scale of the project. I have come to rely on his expertise and input and he has made several suggestions that have made the project much better then we could have imagined. In this project we not only installed the new patio and sidewalk but also worked on managing water issues - and since completion we have had two very hard rains with not a drop of water in the garage... :) :) Truly could not be happier.

Harry was extremely friendly and professional throughout the process of submitting an estimate, scheduling the work, and completing it. We were in no hurry to have the work completed so he gave us the estimate in the spring and he just completed the work in late October. Once he notified us that we were at the top of the list, he kept us informed of the days and times that he or his workers would be here. We appreciated that. His workers are also friendly and professional. Harry obviously takes pride in his work and that of his employees. We have an in-ground lawn watering system that runs close to the areas that needed to be replaced. He and his workers took care to keep from damaging the system with their work. My only minor complaint was that after the old concrete was removed and before the forms for the new concrete were placed there was no caution tape placed around the sidewalk area. I had to improvise something myself to keep people from accidentally stepping into the hole over night. Once they poured the concrete, they did put up caution tape. Harry is to come back to apply a sealant. I will follow up after that is done. 12/1/2015 - Harry came back as promised and applied sealant to the new concrete.

We had an excellent all-around experience with Harry and his team. Harry is extremely cooperative and responsive. He's happy to take as much time with you as necessary to lay out your patio design, and to discuss colors, stamp patterns, etc. Pricing is completely up front on a square-foot basis, so there are no surprises. Harry and I measured the space together, and easily agreed on the dimensions and the price. I can tell you that the price was considerably better than other contractors I received estimates from, and we ended up getting more concrete, a better base course, and a better looking stamp and color pattern than the examples from contractors who quoted me over $2,000.00 more than I ended up paying. Our patio looks great. I highly recommend Spadafora Concrete.

We did research and had estimates and ideas from a lot of contractors and decided that Mr. Spadafora stood far above the rest of the group and he proved that we made the right decision. Harry's genius for design in widening our driveway was as impressive as the skill and professionalism of his crew. He has so much personal pride in his work he comes back several times. I met Harry Spadafora at the Pittsburgh Home Show in March 2015. My driveway was in terrible shape due to pitting and spalling despite the house being only 4 years old (builder refused to take responsibility) and a terrible, misguided attempt by an inferior contractor to repair it with an overlay last fall. I had already solicited one bid, and at the Home Show I requested bids from two more contractors to remove and replace the entire disaster of a driveway. That was on a Friday, and I was surprised that Harry called and came out to give me an estimate the following Tuesday. Not only was his estimate more reasonable than the other contractors, but he also impressed me with his knowledge, years of experience, and obvious pride in his work. I didn't need to get any other estimates. I wanted Harry to do the job. Harry had many jobs scheduled ahead of mine and estimated he'd get to mine by the end of July. With the excessive amount of rain we had this spring, I was not surprised that his jobs were delayed and he was not able to get to mine until a month later. That was fine with me because I liked that he wasn't rushing through jobs but was taking his time and working around the bad weather to do them right. What did surprise me was that Harry called me a few times over the summer to inform me of the delay and keep me posted on his progress in getting to my job. That's the kind of attention and consideration you don't get from a lot of contractors. Once Harry and his crew were on my job, they were completely dedicated to it. It was clear they all were experienced and worked efficiently as a team. They also were very personable and a nice group of guys. They took care of my property, cleaned up after themselves, and were very nice about explaining things to me and answering all of my questions. They demolished and removed my old driveway and poured the new one in three days. The only thing left to do after that was wait for a couple of months to allow the concrete to cure before staining the stamped brick border and sealing the driveway. I understood that this would take some time and was in no hurry to speed up the process that necessarily requires patience, and again, Harry kept in touch over those couple of months so I knew my job was not forgotten. Harry works quickly and efficiently, but he does not cut corners or hurry to get the job done. Just the opposite. He spends extra time and effort to do things the right way. He must have put a half dozen layers of stain and antiquing on the brick border before he was satisfied. He used two different sealants for the border and driveway even though it took more time, because he firmly believes in doing things the right way, even if it takes longer. He ensures that every aspect of the job is completed in the best possible way. I am very pleased with the entire process and the end result. The driveway is beautiful, and I plan to continue having Harry seal and maintain it to keep it looking as good as it does now, along with my patio. To put it simply, Harry knows what he's doing and he does it right!

Called Harry in June. He came to look at the job, gave me a price but said he couldn't do the job until October because he was backlogged due to all the rain we had. 1st week of October Harry called and said he would be here next week. As promised he was here with his crew. My new concrete in front of my door looks awesome. He took his time to make sure all the of the concrete was perfect and angled away from the house so water would run away from my house instead of into it. That was my problem with the old concrete. Water was running into my sunroom when it rained hard. Harry and his crew were professional with their work and delivered exactly what he promised plus a little more. They made sure that my yard was fixed also. I would highly recommend him and will be calling him back next year to fix my patio on the side of my house. Besides being professional they were very interesting to watch work and gave me a lot of good laughs with their teasing each other while working. Thanks Harry for a job will done.
