Description of Work: very good service initially. Was told that they charge by the hour - $99/hr and the plumber came about an hour late but called to let me know so there wa s no problem. However, I was not able to be home and my wife let him in and I spoke to him on the phone as work proceeded. There was a leakage around the disposal and he told me he could change it and I asked if he could reposition it to a different sink outlet; He informed me that it would take more time and of course cost more. I was Ok as long as the work was done properly. He called to let me four hours later to let me know that the disposal was changed and repositioned and some of the piping had to be rearranged but promised no leakage. He also stated that since the baseboard of the cabinet had to be replaced he would take pictures and let me know the estimate. He also informed me of few other things that needed to be looked at and said once he spoke to his boss would get back to me. I waited for 4 days and no call came so I called their office and was told that the plumber who worked on house will get back to me. So far nothig. My wife has also noticed three days ago that the reverse osmosis systmem for the drinking water was leaking severely under the sink and I had to turn it off. After all this I went and checked on the price of the disposal at Lowes Insinkerator pro - same model as mine sells for $219 I don't know how the cost is $1039 for $219 disposal - retail at Lowes, and four hours of work at $99/hr equals $1000Also, we still have the leakage under the sink from the reverse osmosis unit and baseboard still needs replacementThey came highly rated on Angie's list but quite disappointed and now looking for another plumber - relying friends for recommendation now

+ -1 moreAfter the initial call to Sembower a service person was here within an hour. They took a look at our water tank and told us the liner was busted and we would need a new tank. The service was excellent and the price was the best.. I did try to use one of the plumbing companys on Angie's list but even using a $50 coupon the price was still above Sembower's. I went with Sembower because I felt they would give me a fair price and were honest with me ..something that is hard to find these day.
Description of Work: The liner in our water tank broke. New tank was installed by Sembower.

+ 3 moreTHEY WERE PROMPT, RETURNED PHONE CALLS, PROVIDED A VERY PROFESSIONAL ESTIMATE. THE GENTLEMAN THEY SENT OUT TO GIVE THE ESTIMATE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. FROM THE VERY BEGINNING HE LAID OUT EVERYTHING HE THOUGHT WOULD BE NEEDED FOR THE JOB AND HE WAS RIGHT. THEY WEREN'T THE CHEAPEST ESTIMATE, BUT I FEEL THEY WERE THE BEST. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN, THEY SECTIONED OFF AREAS OF THE HOME TO KEEP DUST FROM GOING EVERYWHERE. THEY COVERED HARDWOOD FLOORS WITH PLYWOOD TO PROTECT THE FLOORING AND THEY TAPED OFF AND SEALED AREAS OF THE HOME TO KEEP DUST OUT. THEY WERE EXCELLENT IN MANAGING THEIR TIME AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. LOOKING AT THE WORK, YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THEY EVEN DID IT. IT LOOKS GREAT. THE COST WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
Description of Work: THEY REPLACED A 3 STORY 4 INCH CAST IRON WASTE PIPE, TORE OUT AND REPLACED PLASTER IN A 100 YEAR OLD HOME, PAINTED AND PLASTERED, TILED AND DID FLOORING.

AFTER INSPECTING THE LEAK, I HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES TO OBTAIN THE WRITTEN ESTIMATE. MY LATER ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE COMPANY TO DISCUSS THE ESTIMATE AND SET UP A DATE FOR THE $10,000+ REPAIR WERE NEVER RETURNED DESPITE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM, LEAVING BOTH HOME AND WORK NUMBERS. WE HIRED A DIFFERENT PLUMBER.
