Description of Work: Did not complete the job according to contract and argued that the contract said one thing when it clearly said something else. When we agreed on the final price, I realized that he only put a couple of drainage holes in the stone wall and asked him to put a few more (according to contract they were to be placed every 8 feet apart) and he refused. I'm very worried that with the freeze and thaw process, the water will have no place to escape and the wall will eventually crack and/or fall over.He was not professional, talked down to me and in general a smart aleck. I would never recommend him again or MPK masonry whom I originally contracted with. Wall looks good but the support behind it and lack of weep holes and disagreement about contract price made this project a very unbearable project and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Also he tried to nickel and dime everything.

 + -1 moreI called Frank earlier this year to do pointing and concrete work for me. He called back and came over and gave me an estimate. I was happy. He told me he would not be able to start the job for 2 to 4 weeks, and I said that would be okay. No problem. The problem came when 2 months went by and still no Frank! No phone calls, no e-mails, nothing! I finally gave up waiting for him and called other contractors to do the work! Very unprofessionial. All he had to do was place one phone call!

 + -1 moreFrank Sanpietro answered on the first phone call. He showed up the next day as promised and gave me a very fair estimate. Because of the wet weather, we had to wait for 2 dry days in a row. In the meantime, he called to keep touch and let me know when it would be happening. As soon as the weather cleared, he called the day before to say he would be there. He showed up on time, did great work and left no mess in my yard. It all went very well and I would recommend this contractor to all angies list users. Beforehand, he e-mailed me a contract to be signed on the day of the service and he was paid as soon as the work was completed. Also, upon request he had his insurance company mail me proof of insurance. I called them and he was paid to date. I appreciate the honesty and quality work of this contractor.
Description of Work: We had 2 chimneys repointed and recapped. Also, we had chicken wire placed on the chimneys to prevent birds from entering the chimneys.
