Sal Iaquinda Landscaping

over Sal's work is always completed in a very timely and professional manner. I would recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping services.

Mr. Iaquinda (Sal) came to my home to give me an estimate for rehabilitating my backyard after a construction project. After explaining what I wanted done , his response to me was somewhat vague and noncommittal.I also asked for an estimate to do some trimming (cleanup) in my tiny front yard. His estimate for that was so ridiculously high thatI thought he was joking! When I realized that he was serious, I believe that I told him I was not interested.He appears to be a nice guy, but I have no idea what he was thinking when he gave me estimates that were five times more than anyone else?

We have used Sal for landscaping twice. The first time he regraded our small hillside front lawn, added top soil and reseeded. There had never been a true grass lawn there before--now it's the envy of the neighborhood. When we called Sal the second time it was to grade and seed our backyard, which is a small patch of land between the house and garage without much direct sunlight. Once again, Sal put together the perfect mix--we've got grass where no one has been able to grow grass before. Sal came when he said he would, left everything spotless when he left and was a total pro. He's fantastic. We won't hesitate to use him again if we need a landscaper.

He did a good job and the lawn looks great.

THEY CHARGED AN EXORBITANT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR TRIMMING THE BUSHES AND MULCHING. FOR WHAT THEY DID, THE PRICE CHARGED WAS DOUBLE WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE CHARGED.

Prices very comparable to others. He's a very hard worker!

He filled in around a gas meter with stone, and I told him he can't leave it like that, and he said he'd come back out and fix the problem by installing a little fenced off area for the meter. I called him to come back out, and his wife said he wasn't doing that work anymore. He was a nice guy, but I feel he didn't finish the work he was supposed to do. He should have called me and let me know what was going on. I would hire him only if he gave me a good contract, and I wouldn't pay until he was finished.

HE WAS QUICK TO CALL ME BACK, PROMPT WHEN HE SHOWED UP AND SEEMED LIKE A GOOD CONTRACTOR. I DIDN'T HIRE HIM BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS WAY OUTSIDE OF MY EXPECTED BUDGET, BUT IT WAS IN LINE WITH OTHER ESTIMATES I GOT, SO HE'S NOT NECESSARILY TOO EXPENSIVE.

SAL WAS PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. I WAS HOPING FOR SOME IDEAS AND HELP IN PLANTING; SAL IS MORE, ''TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT AND I'LL DO''. HE DID COME IN QUITE A BIT HIGHER THAN OTHER GRADE ''A'' COMPANIES ALSO. I DID GET THE FEELING THAT HIS WORK WOULD BE DONE WELL THOUGH, HE HAS A SENSE OF PRIDE ABOUT HIM.

SAL CAME BY A DAY EARLY TO GIVE US A WRITTEN ESTIMATE (CALLED FIRST); HE IS VERY POLITE, AND HIS WORK AND CLEAN-UP WERE FLAWLESS. A RESPONSIVE LANDSCAPER, AND A REAL PLEASURE.

THEY DID A NICE JOB, WERE HARD WORKERS, AND WERE PROMPT. THEY TOOK A QUICK LUNCH BREAK AND JUST ATE A QUICK SANDWICH, I AM HAVING HIM BACK FOR MORE WORK.

SAL WORKED HIS BACKSIDE OFF LIFTING 95 LB WALL STONES.
