Online scheduling was fast and easy. Estimate given at the time of scheduling. I used the mobile service. I was concerned about the space requirements for installation since I was in a work parking lot. Still not sure if what they listed was really required but I made it work. Technician called ahead of arrival, arrived on time, gave accurate estimate of time needed (1 hr). Did a little upselling but was not pushy, just recommended wipers. He thoroughly explained the process, warned me about glass shards (from the vandalism, not him). He was so pleasant and thorough, seemed like he enjoyed his job. No complaints at all!

It was terrible. They installed my windshield and the plastic insert molding snapped and it took almost a month to get it back and constant calls finding out where is the piece, why can't I have it. It was a thing where they ordered the piece and they had to get it painted to match the car. It could have been that they had a problem with the dealership about getting to it but as a customer I felt that they should have let me know what the situation was and not me call them all the time. It had to get back to national and then they had to call it back and then get the regional involved. I wouldn't go there again. They need to straighten up their lower management aspects if there's a problem and take care of customer relations.

The technician never showed up, we were not contacted to let us know he was not coming, and when I called to see where he was at 4:45pm I was told they had a technician call off and that no one was going to make it to our home that day. After sitting at home waiting all day long for the technician to come, we were frustrated but assured by the customer service representative that the manager would call us on Monday and make everything right. I waited Monday morning and did not receive a phone call, so I called again and spoke with another customer service representative. This representative was far from sympathetic, she spoke with the manager at my local Safelite office and I was told they would not come to my home to fix the windshield because we did not have a heated garage for the technician to work in. I was placed on hold and then informed by the representative that they would be "willing" to complete my service today but I would HAVE to take it to their location and it would HAVE to be at 12:30pm (this was at 11:30am). When I inquired if they would reduce the price for two days worth of inconvenience, I was told I was already offered discounts when I made the appointment. While I am aware I was given a generous price for being a new customer, I was NOT aware that I would be stood up for my appointment and then treated as if I was a huge inconvenience. When I told the representative that previous discounted did not have anything to do with this issue, I was offered $20 off. I have worked in customer service my entire life, and never once have I been more appalled at the way I was treated by this company. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, ever.

They had a problem with the manufacturer's windshield. They sent another guy out and he broke it, so they had to get another one. I went through about two weeks to get my new windshield put in. They wanted to use their windshield; I wanted to use the BMW windshield. They just couldn't understand that I wanted to pay for a manufacturer's windshield.

I scheduled appointment took the day off and waited for them to come and install new windshield. When Tech arrived with in 5 mins informed me he couldnt replace windshield because there was rust around the opening and by law he couldn't replace it until I got it fixed. Well I took the car to another glass place, their technician with over forty years experience and another certified auto mechanic looked at it and couldn't believe Safelite refused to do the repair.. 1st words out of their mouth was what rust... there was very minimal surface rust and the glass technician proceeded to replace window.... I've had numerous work done at Safelite but no more I'm done!

One of the reasons I selected them is they came to the house and did it. I think the experience was very good. They were great. The price was about what I expected it to be. I didn't really go and get competitive sales or anything so I don't really know how to compare it to others. As it turns out, they had two people show up, and one of them lives around the corner from us and it was just coincidental.

I did the whole order on line. They charged me $100 and billed the rest to my insurance company. I didn't even have to contact my insurance company. Very easy. They did have to postpone once as they could not do the service in the rain. No problem!

Very well. He did it at the house with car in driveway while we were out of town. He kept in touch at every step. Fixed a second small crack that he found at no cost.

It was great. The serviceman drove up with his van next to my car in the parking lot and got right to work. I popped out a couple of times to see if he needed anything, which he didn't. The job was done quickly, and he even vacuumed my car when he was done. As the repair was covered by my insurance, I didn't have to pay a cent. I'm not sure how the cost compares to other providers, but the service couldn't have been better.

Came to house and explained everything. Removed old windshield and put new one in. Cleaned up inside the car and all windows. Even cut out inspection sticker so we have it till we get new one. Took old windshield with to disposed. Was very friendly and professional.

Excellent. Setting up an appointment online is very easy they give you many dates and time options. They also give you a price online as well. Installer called that day and asked if I wanted him to arrive earlier and I agreed since it was better for me. I had to change the original appointment last minute so I called Safelite customer service on a Sunday and they took care of the appointment change with no problems. Overall very easy and convenient process, price was reasonable.

They came right to where I worked and fixed it.

They were prompt and lower than the competitors.

It was a frustrating process from start to finish. Poor communication from the local office and the need for clean up after the installation combined with the high cost made for a tough process.

I thought they were good. I went to them, but I think it's both ways. I just used them one time and my experience was good.

When told I had to replace my whole windshield, I thought of hours in the shop but the company sent a man to our home to do it. I had to get it fixed but to my delight--our car insurance covered it 100%.I went into Safelite in Allentown but they said the whole thing needed replaced! My whole windshield and they'd do it in my driveway. (weather permitting).I called the number they gave me and got an AMERICAN that spoke perfect English!!Set up the appointment. The day of the appointment, I got an e-mail with a PICTURE of the man who was coming to do the work--this was wonderful and gave me complete security! I was so impressed that they showed the man's picture so I'd be sure he was who he said he was and it gave me the safety I need! Wonderful idea! The man got here right on time, was super friendly, and even took time to answer my four year old granddaughter's questions! He answered my questions and then went over the after installation details (not to drive it for 1 hour). I just can't get over how great they were, how much that security of knowing the man's face before he got here gave me. I would absolutely use this company again!

Technician arrived, removed the old windshield, replaced it with a new one, removed any glass from inside and around the vehicle. The cost was exactly what the estimate had been. The service man was very courteous and professional.
