It went well from start to finish.

Right after Christmas, we discovered some water leaking into my son's ceiling. Apparently- what I later was told- our ridge vent was pulling up on the roof, causing snow to accumulate in our attic (and drip into my son's bedroom). We went on Angie's List and called close to 10 roofers. Everyone told me I had to wait until the snow melted before they could do anything (and didn't I realize it was the holiday season?). Although Chuck, from Romea Roofing, told me he couldn't get onto the roof until the snow melted.....he agreed to come out to our house to see what was going on. Right before New Year's, Chuck came out to our house, crawled into our attic (it's just beams/ no plywood floors), diagnosed our problem as the ridge vent, and then put a bucket in the attic to catch some of the snow. Of course I also notified my insurance company about our problem....and they wanted to check out the roof themselves- but they asked if the roofer could be present. On the day of the appointment, Chuck arrived 10 minutes early....and my insurance agent arrived 45 minutes late! Eventually the snow melted, and Chuck fit us in as quickly as possible. He came out with a few of his staff members and fixed the roof in no time at all. He managed everything to make sure it was done correctly and efficiently. He even took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing. I can't say enough nice things about Romea Roofing. Chuck went above and beyond what other companies were willing to do. Although I hope I don't need to call him again, if we ever have another roofing or siding issue.....I know who I am going to call. He made a stressful experience a thousand times easier.

I contacted Romea roofing about the above work. Chuck Romea came the next day and gave an estimate. He had a gap in his schedule, so he was able to perform the work just a few days later. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up thoroughly. The new roof and the gutter repairs were done well. It took a second attempt to locate the roof leak, but it has been resolved.

They got back to us, came over looked at the problem and gave us an estimate, then showed up the next day and fixed the issue- it rained that night and all the next day and it was definitely fixed!

I had a tenant going into my rental property, and needed someone to put a roof on quickly, but at a fair price. I recommend Chuck, he was straight forward with what he was going to do, and he did it on time and at a fair/good price.

he could have changed the skylight and charged me more but he didn't. money saved. very honest and professional behavior. great crew, and chuck is very knowledgeable. came exactly at times he said he would.

We called because we had some water coming into our attic crawl space but it turned out to be a fairly simple repair. The job went well and he was finished in a couple of hours

I wasn't satisfied with a few things, but everything else went good.

I wanted to get estimates on a small job. They don’t like to do that and I think that was the case. By the time I got it done it was only $200 or $300 job. I called them and I think they blew me off because it was a small job. I called them and it took them three weeks for them to return my call. They work very close to where the job is. The fellow asked me whether it is a high roof to which I said it was a couple of storeys up and he sounded like he was afraid of heights. Did he think it was in the basement? After that I scheduled him to go look at the property. He said he was going to do it but I received no word back. I called again but he did not return another phone call. So I assume that they did not want the job because it was small. I did not want to fill out a negative report on them. It seems that they have been around for a while. It was a hole in the roof and I needed it addressed quickly and it was November and it was raining. I am sure they were booked up with other things. I did not spend any money on it I only called for an estimate. The trouble some part is that a vendor like a roofer, suppose you needed something done and you call people and nobody would come. Finally I did get someone who came out. He was small guy. I would tell my friends and family about this company only if it is big job and then say that they did do my little job. They were polite but not returning phone calls is not professional. I called for an estimate for a small job and I assume that they did not want my small job. I will not use them in the future.

They do excellent work. Honest and reliable. Please to have in my home. Very Satisfied.

I believe we only waited a day or two for the repairman to arrive. Once he came it took less than 1/2 hour to complete. At this point we are completely satisfied.

The overall experience was a good one. Chuck Romea accomodated our schedules to plan initial meetings in the evening to discuss project. There cost was the lowest estimate we had and they were recomended by a friend. We had a leak in one of our sky lights we had asked him to address. They started July 5th. They arrived on time and went straight to work. Everyone was polite. They completed the job in two days and it looked great! They did forget to replace the shingles above our bay window in the back o f house which was part of the requirements. The sky light did still leak when we had a very strong storm. We called Chuck, it did take them about month to get back, but they completed the shingle on the bay window and fixed the skylight. We have had 2 strong storms since the repair and it is no longer leaking. I consider this a good experience and would recomend him.

requested an estimate which he provided. No pressure . Felt very comfortable with him . Waiting now for the installation.

He came promptly and did what was required in a timely fashion. I had no problems, and the townhouse sale went through without a hitch.

His workers were really good, and they did a really nice job. The work dragged on a little longer, but it did not bother me. I had no problems with their cleanup. I am not sure if their price was good or not, but I think he was in the ballpark with other people; I do know of some people that were astronomically high. The quality was good. They did make a mistake. They started to put down the wrong shingles. We told him, and he realized that it was his fault. He took them down, and put the right ones up; that was not a problem for us. They were good overall. I would recommend them to anybody and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were great. I called them and they came the same day to give an estimate. They were able to start work right away on it. He has spent on business for a long time and fully licensed. So I thought it was good. He guaranteed his work for five years. He also gave me contacts of the people he had worked for, so that I can call them and get a referral from them. When the job was getting done the guy who was the head of the company was on site for the entire job with his workers. That was great. We had an issue, there was a leak after the work was completed. I called them and they came up the same day and fixed it. He was great. He gave me his cell phone number and I called him. He said he will come right out and he came right out and fixed it. The workers were all great and courteous. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. Last when they said they were going to leave, they came out of the house and cleaned up everything. They use to clean up every day after work was done. They were good. I highly recommend them. In fact he gave my name out to somebody and I gave him good recommendation. There is no problem now. We got four estimates and he was sort of on the lower end. I would use them again without hesitation.

The owner came for an estimate and was obviously not interested in taking on the job. His quote was very high and he was very unprofessional.

I agreed to the price on the estimate and have made several attempts to contact them for them to start the work. They have yet to start. I have not received a response since my last call. I want the work done and thought we had an agreement, but I can not seem to get them to start the job.

They came to our house the day after we spoke to them and performed the service quickly and professionally at a reasonable price. I would definitely use them again for any roofing or gutter work.

Called after finding on Angie's List. Had a prompt reply. Because they were very busy, they said it might take until the next day, but they showed up within a couple of hours because they were in the neighborhood on another call. Knew what they could do, and did it in a professional and quick manner. Will use them in the spring to set up an electric gutter heating system.

The last visit went very well. They are very good and come when you call them. The prices are reasonable and the work is good.

It was excellent. A personal touch made them great. I found that they did the job I asked for at a very reasonable cost. They were recommended to us by someone else.

The job took two days to complete. Everything was cleaned up each day, they did a very good job. From the time the estimate was given to the completion of the work, was only a few weeks. His estimate was in the range of the other estimates I had received.

We called the company on a Thursday. The owner came out for an estimate the next day. He gave us a very good estimate and told us that the work would start in a week. Monday morning he called and said that he could start early because of the good weather. It was completed in a day and a half.

During a storm, a large tree limb fell on my garage, making a hole in the roof and knocking the gutters off on two sides. Insurance would cover the repair of the roof and replacement of the portion of vinyl gutters knocked off. I decided to get new aluminum gutters all around the garage, as well as a new downspout. Mr. Romea had been recommended by a neighbor so I called him to estimate the repair and upgrades. I also asked him to inspect the house roof, which is about 12 years old, just to be sure of its' condition. I also had some gutters on the house that seemed to be leaking. Mr. Romea responded quickly to my call. He provided an estimate of cost for what insurance would cover and an additional price for my upgrades and extra service requests. Mr. Romea and his crew arrived promptly and completed the work efficiently. No muss, no fuss. This company is part of a dying breed..one that takes pride in work well done and polite, personable customer service. I can't praise them enough.
