The company was very responsive throughout the sales/planning process and the work was started/completed in a timely fashion. We were very pleased with the appearance and quality of the retaining wall and the mulch. We were a little disappointed that the Belgium block borders were not countersunk more into the soil around the mulched areas, but to be fair, I never complained about it and thus didn't give them the opportunity to respond. I would definitely use them again, as the price was very competitive and the work completed was worth the value.

Amanda came out as scheduled (in a steady drizzle) to measure and prepare an estimate. Workers arrived promptly on the scheduled work days and worked efficiently, addressing any minor concerns we expressed on the spot. Overall we were very pleased with the workers, the process and the value

Initially I contacted 5 different landscape compaines. Out of all of them (some of which never contacted me back) Linder Lawn was the most responsive and came in with the most reasonable plan and price for the job. They were in constant contact with me throughout the process and made sure to get the plans down exactly like I wanted them to be. The work crew worked hard even though it was very hot outside and they were super friendly when talking with them. The hillside was fairly large (65' x 35') and required a lot of landscaping but the workers did a great job over the course of three days. Even when the work was done and I had a question about a part of the hillside they sent workers back to take a look and do some additional work which most companies wouldn't have done. Linder Lawn was definitely one of the best companies I have dealt with and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again.

Amanda with Linder's was very prompt with their quote. Their service was great! Vaughn and his team performed the work quickly and professionally. Amanda kept in touch with the progress. I will have Linder's do additional work for me in the future.

Everything went well from start to finish. Amanda responded promptly to my initial phone call. She came to the house to assess the job, & provided an estimate by e-mail the same day. We set up a day for the job & she was able send the workers a day earlier after contacting me first. The 2 workers, Vaughn & Michael, did an excellent job removing the hedges & cleaning up after. They were very neat. Amanda was on site & everything went very well.

I found Amanda to be very responsive to my emails and very easy to work with. She came out to meet with me in the evening after I was home from work and take pictures and measure the area where the work was to be completed. I received an estimate a few days later and promptly accepted. We had a few issues getting the work scheduled but they were able to come in on a day earlier than originally planned and they completed everything very quickly. The work was done while I was at work so I cannot speak to the employees that completed it. I was very pleased with the outcome and my yard feels much larger and more clean. I would use them again for work in the future.

The folks at Linder Lawn were quick at responding to our inquiry and stopped by for the initial consultation appointment shortly thereafter. Amanda was the first to stop by our house and we thoroughly talked and walked through the details and options of the project. After reviewing the initial estimate and comparing with the others we received, the decision was made to move forward with Linder Lawn. Both Amanda and John stopped by a few more times before the project started to get a feel everything, and Amanda drew up a sketch of the project for me to take to the City to acquire the proper permits and such. The approach to groundbreaking was super smooth and, in the end, our project included the following: - Removal of previous backyard patio - Regrading back and side yards - Plant, shrub, and small tree removal - Installation of approximately 110' of six foot tall privacy fencing with two gates around the perimeter, custom fit to the contours of the yard - Installation of a 12x18 paver patio, small retaining wall, and appropriate paver steps - Installation of a 3x17 raised paver planting bed - Mushroom compost top soil, grass seeding, and transplanting Implementing the project plan went better than expected given the misfortune of all the horrible, rainy weather this spring, but the folks at Linder Lawn made it happen. They seemed to have no issue dealing with the congestion of the Mexican War Streets and, in fact, we heard nothing but praises from the neighbors for their tidiness and unobtrusive approach. Amanda was quick to call or email pictures when we needed to make a decision and weren't at the house. John was also really great at explaining the plan for the day and any issues he foresaw or experienced the previous day. We even left town on a scheduled trip towards the end of the project and had no issues dealing with them remotely. Seriously, the folks at Linder Lawn are timely, professional, and a pleasure to work with. It's been about two months since the project has been completed and we love the results. So many people in the neighborhood have complimented the work, especially the raised paver planting bed. We've even had a local contractor in the neighborhood tell us how impressed he was with the quality and work ethic of the folks at Linder Lawn. I think that speaks volumes and we've had no problem recommending them to others. How did their estimate compare to the cost of the end result you ask? It was spot on! All additional costs can be attributed to us adding another gate, making the planter bed taller, etc. Thanks Amanda, John, and the whole crew! We really appreciate all of the planning and hard work!

Amanda and her crew were very responsive to our questions and offered us options based on our pricing requirements, they scheduled the delivery and kept in touch throughout. Her crew were fast and responsive and when we had a question that needed to be resolved after the initial delivery Amanda was quick to respond and help us resolve it. Would definitely work with Linder again.

Amanda Linder came out very quickly after my initial call to inspect the area then emailed me a proposal. I had obtained 2 other proposals and the other contractors insisted I needed double or triple the amount of soil proposed by Linder Lawn. When I questioned Amanda whether her yardage estimate was appropriate based on the other proposals I received, she assured me that the amount of soil they proposed would fill the area and provide a proper grading to prevent future pooling. The job was completed by three guys who were very courteous and receptive to my concerns. Before taking payment, Amanda even called me to check whether I was happy with the final grading and told me they would bring additional soil if I desired. It has now been over two months and, after several heavy rainfalls, the area has remained dry. I would definitely use this company again for any future regrading or landscaping needs.

John and Amanda Linder were very professional and responded to all of my questions timely. The job was done quickly exceeding my expectations!

Price quote for backyard work was excessive in comparison to company we hired to do the work. Side yard work quote was fair and comparable to other quote we received.

Amanda was excellent. She came and talked with me about the area and gave me a price. We did not need to reinforce the area so we did not move forward.

Estimate for sod project. I told the supplier I can obtain sod for $2000 delivered, plus $500 for top soil. They estimated between $10,500 and $11,500 to rake out 2 inches of top soil (30 cubic yards) and to roll out the sod. Really....$10,500 to $11,500 for 1 days work, lol! This is by far the highest estimate I received, like 2.5 times higher than the next closest estimate of 4 total. Nothing against this place, but they really are off base with their pricing!!!!!

They came early in the morning, about 8 a.m., and cut all the really neglected weeds, straggly berry bushes, a few young sumac saplings,lots of poison ivy and oak, and giant jaggers down to the ground; it was a real mess back there of many years standing. They carried away many old branches we had earlier in the year pruned off the rhododendrons and holly bushes, and some young sumac trees which we had cut and just thrown under a tree.Then, a week later, they came and sprayed the whole area with weed killer, and dumped and raked mulch 2" thick over all. The crew worked efficiently without rushing around, were VERY NEAT AND TIDY throughout, and the work was excellent. Amanda called or emailed me with time schedules. One must understand that inclement weather will cause outdoor landscaping delays, but we communicated well and I was pleased with the scheduling. I was very clear on exactly what I wanted Linder & Co.to do, and Amanda sent a detailed estimate for me to look over, then a detailed contract for me to sign. I wanted one thing changed and she sent me a new contract to sign with no fuss or bother. They did just what we had both expected and contracted to be done. The price was much lower than I had guesstimated. At first I thought it would be so much I'd just have half the bank done and do the rest next year. But the price was so reasonable we did the whole bank at the same time. I am very happy with Linder Landscaping and will definitely use them again.

Their work was good, they came on time and they're easy to work with. Only negative is that we called them twice later on to hire them for 2013, but we didn't hear back from them.

It went great. Everyone at Linder Lawn was a true professional, good at their craft, and really helpful, responsive, and wonderful to work with. We did a bit of shopping around, and not only were their prices extremely reasonable, their work is really exemplary. They worked with us every step of the way to make sure that they were doing exactly what we wanted, and were willing to fix anything that wasn't to spec with no complaints and on the spot. It's been so great finally having the yard safely enclosed for our young kids to play in all year, and I'm happy to send out another big thank you to Linder Lawn! During the project, they did a great job of cleaning after themselves every day. The work had some delays that were not their fault (I don't know if anyone remembers what last fall was like but it rained for what felt like 6 weeks straight). They even came back this spring, as promised, and re-seeded all the areas of bare soil that were disturbed during the work (and a couple other random bare patches!), so that we could enjoy a full lawn of grass all summer.

It went really well. The turf was really hard but John did a awesome job and worked his butt off.

I found this provider on the Angies List site and called for an estimate. They responded promptly and professionally and Amanda came out to look at the area and give me an estimate. I had originally asked for the planting bed to be cleared out and for an estimate for having the grass cut biweekly. Amanda got back to me quickly with an estimate and let me know that they would not be able to do the grass cutting for me however she did provide me with two names of people who they recommended who may be able to help me with that. It took about a month from the estimate to the time that they were able to get to me to do the work (I thought this was a perfectly reasonable amount of time given the time of year). When the men came they were professional, quick, and did a great job. I was able to plant vegetables in the area that afternoon! I would recommend this company to anyone with landscape needs.

Since then, they've been stringing me along for a month. Their motto is that they call you back and they did, until I signed the contract. They're giving me my money back but I'm not satisfied. They didn't come out when they said they would.

angela came out and was very thorough in understanding what we wanted done and such. she broke up our estimate into work 'chunks' to make it more cost effective for us. we have not scheduled our service yet, but we will...very impressed.

They were very friendly and prompt in giving us an estimate, but their prices were just too high. My husband ended up doing the work himself for a fraction of the cost.

We are very pleased with the landscaping that Linder Lawn did for us. We interviewed Linder and three other companies before choosing Linder Lawn. Amanda Linder came to our property and met with us. She arrived on time and had measuring tools and a camera and discussed thoroughly what we wanted to have done and answered all of our questions Then she took the information, photographs and measurements and discussed our situation with her husband, John Linder, and she contacted us with a price and proposal within a few days. We did have three other landscaping companies look at the job and they all came and left within a few minutes, They did answer our questions. However, it was clear that Amanda Linder spent more time and really it understood what we wanted to have done. We did not choose Linder solely on the price but in large measure because of Amanda's clear understanding of what we wanted done and what it involved. The work involved landscaping on steep banks and much of the dirt to be removed and mulch to be added had to be carried in in buckets. It was not a easy job. Amanda promptly submitted a proposal and contract, we accepted it, we scheduled the work to done at a mutually agreeable time. Then men showed up on time, were polite and worked hard. We did ask for extras not previously discussed, they replanted two shrubs. They did this at a very fair additional price. The finished job looked beautiful. Overall we are extremely pleased with their work.

Everything looks great. The grass is up and almost ready to cut in the back, replacing the mass of weeds that was there. The new plantings are doing well. They took care of the ruts that their truck made in the yard, filling them with topsoil and reseeding. Amanda contacted us promptly when weather and availability of the plants made it necessary to reschedule some of the work. This is the second time that we've used Linder Lawn for yard clean-up and landscaping and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
