ROBERT DELL'AQUILA PLASTERING

I called Mr. Dell'Aquila on a Monday, and he got back to me within the hour. He agreed to come and take a look at it the next day (tuesday) and the whole job was done on Wednesday!!! The estimate I got was much better than others, as he was sure he could fix it without removing the entire ceiling. I love the fact that his business card said "Robert Dell'Aquila - 3rd generation plasterer". I felt confident that he knew what he was doing. He explained everything in detail, and gave me an estimate of the cost and time. He was very flexible the next day and worked with me to get a time that was convenient. He brought one other person and they were done in about 4-5 hours. The repair looks perfect. I think once it's painted you will not be able to even tell that there was a problem. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and professional. I am very pleased with the work and would hire him again in the future.

We chose them because they were available and they had good reviews on Angies list. Overall, my experience with them was good. There was a little bit of miscommunication about what we wanted them to do. There was a hairline crack in one area which had developed after they had done the plastering but after I called them they came out and fixed it at their own expense. They came out almost the same day to fix it.

Robert arrived right on time for his free estimate and explained in great detail the work to be performed. In the end, extra steps were taken to provide an even better finish than one described. He and his crew take no short cuts. Tony, who works for Robert, is a great talent and is doing some work for us beyond the original plaster job. Can't say enough good stuff about these guys.

Robert and coworker were on time. They finished the project and even fixed a minor repair that was not in the estimate at no charge within two hours. Work was beautiful. Alfter completed you could not even tell it was repaired .

Robert came on time, with a crew of 4 as quoted. Immediately they started taping off the area and covering the floors. They worked hard all day and completed the job in 1 day as estimated. The ceiling is ice-rink smooth and all the other work looks great. Afterwards they cleaned the area very well. I would definitely hire again!

He comes promptly and cleans up after himself. He does a very nice job. The estimate that he gives you is what you pay. He is professional and shows up on time. I would recommend him.

This was the first time I had used their services. It went very well. They were very professional and thorough and kept in touch. He seemed very anxious to satisfy and to please. The price was fair also.

We contacted him about the work in the basement and he responded immediately. Once we decided to proceed, he came out the next weekend to do the work. He does not do vent installation, so he brought a friend who does. While they were there, they commented on the front stairs. We requested a quote and accepted it, so he did the work that day. He and his crew were very pleasant to work with.

Robert and crew arrived on time and were very careful in setting up their equipment. They are all very good workers. The finished job was excellent. They cleaned all the debris and hauled it away. We were very satisfied and would hire them again.

The work was excellent, however the price I believe was a little high. Originally, they had given me an estimate to repair plaster in the dining room, living room and powder room. We opted to only repair dining room and powder room this year, yet final price was close to original estimate of all three rooms.

He is very professional, he brought a lot of people with him to do the job, they finished in about three hours. They work was good. We did have to fix up some edges around the wall. I would probably recommend him to others.

Rob and his 2 man crew did a great job. He came and gave an estimate quickly and did the work about a week later. For years I put off having the plaster fixed because it was not drywall but "real" plaster. I wish I had called Rob years ago. I got a comparable bid from another very popular Angie's list plasterer, but he had a 4 month waiting list. I was very happy with the price and the quality of the plastering. I will have Rob out to do some more plaster work soon. If you have "real" plaster and don't know how to get it fixed, you are in good hands with Rob.

He came out, took out all the measurements for the job, told me what I needed and why I needed it but he's never sent me a written estimate. He was quite impressive when he came out but he just didn't follow through.

Rob came out to see the room and gave us an estimate on site. He came out shortly after this visit, and completed the work on schedule. When on site for the work, we mentioned a problem with one deteriorated wall. He adjusted his estimate and completed the additional work that day. (We had contractors coming immediately before and after and we were able to maintain the overall renovation sequence.) The plaster debris was removed from site that day. Besides a few drips of plaster left on the wall and brick face, he did an excellent job.

They were very good and they did a very excellent job. I called them and they showed up, even though it was Labor Day. I really think they were very professional and they charge me a very good price. They were very clean and they answered all of my questions. They did high quality work.

Bob telephoned before doing the estimate and the actual work. He arrived on time. His estimate was competitive. The work was well done. The bath wall finish was smooth and the kitchen finish was rough and swirled to match existing wall finishes. Bob cleaned up. He worked steadily, was friendly and did a fine job.

The quality of their work was excellent. Bob was very prompt and gave me an estimate.

They were able to take the job on very short notice. They came on time and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I do not know the name of the worker who actually did the work (it was not Robert Dell'Aquila), but he was a skilled plasterer.

Robert and crew showed up when they said they would, did an excellent job on the plastering and cleaned up well. While they were there, they fixed several other small issues that they found for no additional charge. I would certainly recommend him to others.

ARRIVED ON TIME AND GAVE US A FREE ESTIMATE. THEY CALLED AHEAD TO LET US KNOW THE TIME THEY WOULD ARRIVE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND RETURNED AT A LATER DATE TO DO THE TOUCH UP WORK.

I was very impressed by the work done by this contractor. He came when he said he would come. He was very busy, but indicated that right away. He scheduled me as soon as he was able. The walls were smooth when he finished. He cleaned up after himself. He was very polite and friendly. (The actual worker was the brother of Robert). I had him work for my mother and was also pleased with the way he treated her.
