Great! Job took 4 days. Rick and his crew (4) arrived when they said they would, worked all day and cleaned up every day. It was very hot and humid when they were working and even rained a couple of times but they did not quit. Completed job in amount of time they said it would take. Love my new planter box and wall.

Nice job restoring my pond which was not in operation for a couple years. The pond was cleaned & refilled, the water plants, were thinned out, & weeding needed done around the pond. Also, some concrete patch work was needed. Brian from the company did a great job, & cleaned everything up when he was finished!

If Angie’s List had an A+ rating it would have Rick Page’s name on it. Yes, he and his team are that great! I contacted Rick in late May to do, what to me was, a BIG job. He got back to me the next day and came to the house a day or two later. Within minutes I knew he’d get the job. My front lawn, with its many perennials plants and ornamental grasses was out of control. I told him “my vision”, and very gently he said – “you know, it looks to me like you either are too busy or have lost interest in maintaining this much yard; might I suggest something easier to maintain?” OMG – truer words have never been spoken! Then we walked to the backyard and he admired my shade garden of hostas and ferns, and gushed over my exquisite Bald Cypress. He won my heart! Rick suggested we tear out the front beds and seed grass to make a lawn, and plant myrtle (periwinkle) on a slope by the driveway. He also said he’d move some of the perennials to the back, shape the trees and mulch. Rick was so apologetic that he couldn’t fit me in until July ---- but that’s what I get for contacting him in late May. In fact, I was thrilled that he could fit me in this summer. Shortly after that he sent me an email with the Scope of Work and a quote. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the quote was. True to his word, Rick and his team came last week. He must have had an army of workers, because when I got home from work the entire job was completed. That’s right – they did the WHOLE job in a single day. And what a fantastic job they did!! I wish I had ‘before and after’ pictures so you readers could see how great everything looks. Of particular note, the trees and shrubs are beautifully trimmed and shaped; the mulching and manure fertilizing was thorough, and the back gardens were cleaned and have never looked more magnificent. Already the grass seed has germinated and is growing. I am a very, very satisfied customer!

Very nice job. Rick and his guys came early in the morning and rebuilt a falling timber wall in my back yard. They took a good care of the plants that was already there. Reasonable price for the work. Very satisfied.

Rick was extremely responsive and easy to work with. His price was very fair - he did not try to take advantage and tell us that more needed to be done like several other providers did. ?He responded to any of my messages quickly. ?Rick and his crew arrived when they said they would, worked diligently, and did an amazing job rebuilding our retaining wall. ?We are very pleased with the whole process. ?We were not home when they finished, but everything was cleaned up perfectly when we got home. ?They even added grass seeds to some bare spots in the yard that were not impacted by their work. We will most definitely be using Rick in the future.?

If you want fair, honest and reasonable look no further then Rick Page Quality Landscaping. Rick and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time and did everything we had discussed. They put in drainage and new stones when needed. I can not say enough about how good they were. After the clean up it was like they were never there. I'd also like to thank Brian Odonell (employee) as he was very knowledgeable. Rick came in at a price point that I feel was very good and affordable. I also had him give me an estimate for another wall I want built on my patio. Again, if you want fair, honest and reasonable Rick Page is who you want.

Rick was great. We got 4 bids for this project, and he gave us the best price on the projects we had. He came up with a clever solution to one of our problems that saved us A LOT of money and still looks very nice. He was on time when he came out to bid on the job, and while he didn't always email us when he said he would, he always picked up the phone when we called, and was good about letting us know when they would start working. In the end, he did the job right, exactly when he said he would, for the price that he gave us. The guys cleaned up as much as they could, and did nice work. Rick even gave me some sensible advice and ideas for my yard (that didn't even include more business for him so he wasn't just motivated by profit!). I would not hesitate to use Rick again the next time we need to have any work done!

We had our waterfall solidified and they took the time to split stones, seal it and almost completely rebuild it. They used 16-18 yards of mulch to do our hillside and all the flower beds around the house. We had almost nothing there because of a couple years passing without much maintenance due to change in home ownership. They planted rhododendrons, hemlock trees and ostrich ferns and tidied up nicely when their work was done. Fairly priced. Rick came by and talked with us for an hour during his free estimate. We made a couple changes prior to the work actually being done and he didn't change the price, very laid back in that way but meticulous when it comes to his work. I would highly recommend Rick. It was our first time using him but it won't be oUr last.

I contacted Rick 2 weeks ago and he returned my call the same day. I explained what I needed and I had an estimate for 3 different options within a week. I e-mailed Rick with my decision and time frame and he called within a week to let me know he was available the next day and would be out. His crew arrived exactly when he said they would and completed the job in the same day. The work was excellent, better than I anticipated and the entire area was cleaned completely. My neighbor, whose property the wall borders, even remarked on what a great job they did. Note that I am not including the price I paid, as I feel this is my business only. Rick's pricing with me was fine. I've very happy with the results and will use Rick again. I highly recommend his services.

From the time I contacted Rick, to the time all the work was completed was under two weeks. I could not be happier with the results, and even the next door neighbor came over to say what a great job they did. The walls along our front driveway look great, and I have seen people stop as they are walking by to look at the difference. The driveway is actually wider now, as I had not realized how much both of the walls were leaning in and taking up space before. We have one more wall that we still need to decide if we want to replace or just eliminate, however I will say that if we do decide to replace it, I will definitely call Rick and his crew again as they did a great job.

I've called, emailed and spoke with Rick about coming to give me an estimate this spring for sidewalks and a patio, but unfortunately he never got back to me. I hope others have a better experience.

Rick and his crew arrived on time if not earlier then planned on March 21st. They went to work on tearing out a wall/plant box that had been in need of replacement. They replaced this with a timber wall and also pruned the area. They also dug out the existing drain trench which immediately relieved the runoff of water from the above hillside. They also started on the back retaining wall. On March 22nd they arrived early and put in a french drain and did more work on the back retaining wall. On March 23rd, they again, arrived early and finished up the back wall, did some pruning of the plants and also cut my grass-this was an added bonus. Rick was great in giving advice when asked about an additional problem that we are having with an area. I am very pleased with the outcome and will most definitely use this company in the future. Kudos to a job well done.

Rick always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time. He communicated both via email and phone. He came to do the initial overview with my wife and was willing to come back to review the proposal with me in person. His crew started right after Thanksgiving and worked through rainy and muddy weather to install our wall and we are extremely happy with the wall and Rick's professionalism. His quote was substantially less than another estimate, and even my father gave his thumbs up!

Rick was a pleasure to deal with, from our initial meeting and throughout the project. His price was very competitive but he sealed the deal because he is so genuine and a truly friendly person. He and his crew were on-time and worked almost non-stop every day. All of them were great workers, friendly and courteous. The large wall was surrounded by ground cover and they went out of their way to keep it intact. They went above and beyond by leveling the ground at the base of the wall which sloped down to the concrete patio to prevent water runoff. All of the walls look great and we couldn't be happier with the work. A-plus in our book! Thank you Rick! Jack & Lauren.

Rick and team were awesome they we're on schedule from time to start and finish. Had one issue needed gap between my stairs and wall refilled, he came back refilled it and apologize it. Wall looks great and will hire again to do other side next year.

andedertyedet Got Ricks name from A rating on Angies List and called for estimate.He stopped next day, he looked at job and said he would send me estimate by e-mail. Sent me estimate in 2 days..After getting 5 different estimates decided to accept his proposal.Rick said it would be awhile until he could get to me as he was quite busy. I was okay with that.After 2 weeks I called Rick back to see if he could push me up his schedule as I was getting some complaints from neighbors about looks of property. He promptly e-mailed that he would do that and told me he would be there the next day at 8 a.m. Promptly next day he and his crew of 4 showed up and went to work tearing out old walls.They worked straight through and got everything ready to install new walls. Job took 2 days and they did great work. Built new walls and cleaned everything up, Even reseeded grass area . Would recommend Rick for job well done.

I had been keeping an eye on our 16 + yr old timber retaining wall for a couple years as it looked like it was moving. We had some work done on a sewer pipe and the contractor threw too much excess dirt on top of the wall, making the hillside too heavy for the aging wall. I contacted 6 landscaping contractors thru Angie's List email, who also advertised retaining wall expertise. Rick came out that day! Another came out the next day and the rest wanted to come the next week. One even had the nerve to want to schedule a phone consultation over a week later! Rick and the second contractor was very close in price. I was very happy that neither pushed me to completely replace the wall with versa lock as another contractor had suggested a few months back, at a cost of $12,500!!! Rick spent almost an hour studying the wall: the other guy was here about 15 minutes. He wanted to make sure that he knew where to support it at its weakest points. He sent us a detailed and fair estimate two days later then started and completed the job 2 days after that. Rick was on time, worked at a steady pace with no inconvenience to my family and cleaned up perfectly. He even replanted the hostas that had to be moved. He didn't ask for any money up front. I plan to use Rick Page Quality Landscaping in the future to replace my busted outside basement steps. You can't go wrong with Rick. I highly recommend him. I would be happy to share photos of the finished project if asked.

I have used Rick and his crew on several occasions, he responds pretty fast he did tell me that it would take a while to get to me. He asked me to remind him on occasion. After 2 months he came, he and his crew did a wonderful job, fast , professional and hard working. The crew worked so hard and Rick was there the whole time! My yard looks like it should be on HGTV it was looking a little scary before they came. Rick has years of experience and had some good ideas on making a small yard look welcoming. I am going to have Rick do more work for me when time permits. I couldn't have asked for a better job

My job is small so Rich is not that interested in doing it but he keeps telling me he'll get to it. However, it's now been over 3 months and winter is approaching and he still hasn't gotten to it. If he doesn't want to do it I wish he'd just tell me that and I'll move on..

I can't praise Rick and his team highly enough. I liked Rick's professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail from the start, and his team worked like a well-oiled machine. They know what they're doing, waste little if any time, and best of all, did an absolutely outstanding job on everything they did. The wall and driveway look beautiful, and we're incredibly happy with the results. The guys were all friendly, helpful, and careful in their work. And all of that at a very reasonable price for the work performed. Rick will be my first choice in any of the following future projects that we're considering: - stone patio - tree planning and planting - other landscaping While he's a landscaper and seems to do a lot of stone work, one of his passions is horticulture, so we plan on consulting Rick next year on trees and other plants for our yard. We couldn't be happier - Rick Page is by far the best worker we've ever hired.
